Really nice hotel; very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Room was nice: it had a separate bath and shower. Made full use of the pool (small and oddly shaped, but sufficient for a dip), sauna (which was nice and hot) and gym (small, but top quality technogym equipment and more than enough to get a good workout. Breakfast was also good. Can’t really fault it, other than two single beds pushed together to make a double bed, but they easily slid apart.

Excellent location, just a short walk from Waverley Station, the Royal Mile and Princes Street. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

It was underwhelming - just an ordinary hotel nothing in particular stood out or felt special. We booked a standard twin which turned out a lot smaller than expected but with large bathroom. Think we were put in the accessible room. There were scratches across wardrobe door but ok. Breakfast good, continental was buffet service and you ordered the hot food. In a good central location. Staff were pleasant. One of lifts broken so had to wait a while for working one and once in that one there seemed no logic to which floor it would go to next. All in all it was OK.

J’ai eu la chance de séjourner une semaine à l’Apex Hotel Waterloo Place, et je mesure mes mots ! Ma chambre offrait une vue magnifique sur la ville, un vrai plaisir de se réveiller chaque matin avec cette vue. Mais ce qui a vraiment fait la différence, c’est le personnel : disponible, chaleureux, à l’écoute du moindre besoin. On sentait une réelle attention portée aux clients, avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de professionnalisme. Merci à toute l’équipe pour ce bel accueil, et surtout au jeune homme qui s’est occupé de mon arrivée, et du suivi de mon séjour ! I was fortunate enough to spend a week at the Apex Hotel Waterloo Place, and I mean every word of what I’m about to say! My room offered a really beautiful view over the city, a real pleasure to wake up to each morning. But what truly made the difference was the staff: attentive, warm, and always ready to help with any need. There was a genuine sense of care for guests, combined with real kindness and professionalism. Thank you to the whole team for such a warm welcome, and especially to the young man who took care of my arrival and looked after my stay throughout!

Luci ed ombre all’Apex Waterloo. PRO: posizione perfetta per esplorare la città , camera spaziosa e ben arredata, idem Il bagno . Bollitore e Nespresso completano la dotazione. Colazione accettabile per il prezzo: buffett scarso ma ampia scelta alla carta (inclusa nel prezzo). Viennoiserie eccellente!!! Personale estremamente gentile (anche per sopperire alle mancanze della struttura) CONTRO: un solo ascensore (sia per clienti che per il personale) in una struttura ad 11 livelli: inaccettabile! Per accedere alla camera e’ necessario, oltre a 3 rampe di scale, attraversare 3 porte di cui una con chiave (oltre a quella della camera) . Chiave necessaria anche per uscire: claustrofobico! Per il prezzo pagato (oltre 400 a notte) decisamente i contro sono troppi. Non ci tornerò
