Comfort Suites Macon Northwest

This is a good hotel for a quick, cheap stay. There are definitely some upgrades/repairs that need to be done, but everything seemed clean and it was comfortable. The hotel itself was very hot for some reason, but we were able to adjust our room temperature to be more comfortable. The vending machines were out of order and the Continental breakfast was just ok, so don't count on those things for food. Overall, our stay was fine.

The hotel is nice and the room was great! I was there Friday and checked out Sunday. The pool was closed and for what reason during Summer! They know people wants to swim and this waa one of the Only reason that I choose this hotel. They opened the pool upon Saturday (time unknown) when we went to the pool it was very Dirty as well as the hot tub. Then laterthat night we had a fire alarm issue but they couldn't resolve who set it off but come to my room and said we had to leave!!! NO fire department, NO police report but I'm asleep but was told that it's a Federal Offense and a $1000.00 fine. Yet the manager said we're going to drop it, but just be careful. That's nonsense too much to put in this chat...

I arrived late and departed early. The hotel is located in a developing area and very nice. The parking lot was well-lighted and the only interactions with staff was cordial. We had all we needed and expected. The room was nice.

The property looked new. The room, hallways were clean. Everything worked in the room. There was even a washer/dryer in the room with the ice machine. It was close to I-75 and I-16.but we didn't hear traffic noise. There were plenty of restaurants, service stations, and shopping areas close to this hotel. The lobby was airy, open, bright and pleasant. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had ample selections and tasted fresh. The only negative was that the parking area was littered with cigarettes, cigarette cartons and other debris. We checked in on a Saturday, stayed for two night. When we checked out on Monday morning, there were still the same junk ( even more) in the same place. We would give this place a higher rating except for the lack of care outside.

Nice and clean! Plenty of parking and places nearby to eat. Excellent breakfast buffet! Definitely will stay here the next time I am in Macon!

Room was dirty, tub was falling apart and the bed skirt had some weird stain. I did not feel cozy or comfortable in the room. In the bathroom there was dust around the towels as though no one had touched them in months. The room was not sound proofed at all and we could hear our neighbors above. Tried to go swimming but the pool was really gross. We were even attacked by mosquitoes at the indoor pool. There was no way I would have used the hot tub. Service was the best thing about this stay, everyone was very pleasant and friendly.

Simple and good service for a budget price. Fine option if you’re just rolling though. Breakfast and coffee weren’t very good though. Pool and gym were dirty and sloppy.

Clean and comfortable room. Friendly helpful staff. The fitness room could use some TLC though, damage to walls floors and equipment.

Must give credit to management, this was one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in and I've been in plenty with double the rates. The fitness center does need to be fixed up but the pool, common area, and rooms were immaculate any time I visited them. Usually there's misc. paper, wrappers, spilled food from kids, etc when we stay at hotels but again this was the cleanest one we've seen to date. When I visit Macon again, this will be my go to going forward. A

The property appeared to need some updating compared to other Comfort Suites we have stayed at. Also, we were greeted by a roach scurrying across our bathroom floor when we turned on the light.

The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. Then I woke up to a giant roach in the bathtub.

Very clean, felt safe, easy check in.

The outside of the hotel looked good and the lobby and breakfast area was nice and clean. The only problem was the bathroom. There were mouse droppings in the bathroom and the bath tub was in bad shape. The floor in the bathroom was not clean. We stayed in room 215.

Not very clean

First off when we walked into the room we immediately checked the sheets and they were dirty had black marks all over them and the pillow case then we noticed roaches crawling all over the room next the toilet water would not stop running we went to let the front desk know it was like she did not care one bit we finally asked like can we get another room that room was a little better but the towels were dirty so we went to buy our own towels and wash rags the floor was not cleaned properly and we had no wifi all night and to make it even worse the room next to mines had us up all night it was different people coming in and out her room all night the area was very sketchy like we fear for our lives and by time we checked in it was already 10pm and every where else was booked up we went the morning at check out to let them know and it was like they didn’t care talking about well the manager not here im am going to have to call him well call him because something has to be done still waiting on a call back.

This honestly might be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Ever been in a very damp basement? That was the smell that engulfed us when we walked in. I will say check in was quite easy, though the staffer did constantly ask (four times) if we had pets (no). Things were worse in the room (room 113). Yes, we could hear the highway all night, it happens. However, the room simply was not clean, with the bathroom being particularly filthy (I have pictures). The room itself was extremely “humid,” like, even the linens felt wet. Thermostat was set at 74. I immediately bumped it down to 70, hoping it would remedy that problem. All it did was make us cold and wet 30 minutes later. Why you ask? The thermostat still read 74, so it just continued to pump out freezing air. Ridiculous. At any rate, we really just wanted to get some sleep after long days of work/school and a six hour drive (we rolled in after 11). It really didn’t happen, as no one was comfortable. We refused to use the disgusting shower in the morning, so we saddled up to leave about 8:30. We were greeted outside by the same mildew smell combined with the worst cleaning solution I’ve ever encountered by a hospitality crew. We did not dare go near the breakfast area, so can’t speak on that. In closing, I’m sure their management will add their canned response under this, though if they really had any concern for such a situation, they would issue a full refund for our stay, while ensuring this won’t happen to others.

The property was very clean and check in was easy which is especially nice after a long drive. The room was spacious and very clean.

Toilet was leaking and room was incredibly worn

Front Desk staff friendly, accommodations were comfortable. The one downside was the tub was uneven and held water. I had to take a cup and move the water toward the drain, otherwise the next person to shower would be standing in used shower water.

Nice room size but a little dated and not much furniture but bed fine. A/C a bit noisy.

Stayed 3 days and no wifi. Was told that they were working on it.

There is a previous review about Rm 113. Room 111 is exactly the same. The smell is pretty horrible and even permeates your clothes(discovered after we left). We should have immediately requested a new room but thought the smell would go away. We even got a room deodorizer from the front desk but only helped for a short time. If you have to stay here, request a different room right away if on the first floor. It is not very soundproof, heard other guests as well as the highway. The breakfast was fairly standard and the bed was comfortable. Definitely not up to Comfort Suites standards. Will not stay there again.

Our room was perfect for 5 adults. A sheet, to go along with the comforter, for the sofa bed would have been nice, but we had everything else we needed. The bathtub drain was VERY slow to release the shower water. I let the front desk know at checkout. Hopefully they make the repair for the next guest.

The room was the largest I have stayed in at this price point. We stayed just overnight, but this would be a great hotel for a longer stay. It was clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was great and the breakfast area spacious.

Comfortable beds

Things were a bit older & outdated. The floor in our room was so uneven that the desk chair kept rolling downhill on its own!

The room was nice and large with sleeping for 4 adults. Our room was close to the highway and I could hear the traffic many times throughout the night. Breakfast was not bad but not great.

Not happy that we were told after evacuating that we could have the room for another day when we checked in late only to receive a phone call waking us up to say we couldn’t because of he hotel was fully booked and we needed to leave . The desk attendant should not have told us that they said over the phone and then they gave us an extension for check out which gave us time to find another hotel but the maid service was banging on the door for us to hurry up and check out so they could clean our room and go home since it was the last room they had to clean, and so we tried to hurry up but we had a lot of things to move since we had evacuated and there were three of us . A 92, year old , myself and my daughter all trying to hurry after rushing the previous day to evacuate Florida from the hurricane and driving in rain and traffic the previous day! The maids were unhappy and they let us know how inconvenient we were.

The night time front desk staff was so helpful!

Gentleman working the front counter around 5:30 Pm Saturday Dec. 14th was very polite. I had an infant son and we drove all day and we had ran out of milk temporarily. We were in need of milk he was kind enough to gather some milk for us and even warm it with out my asking. He said he has children of his own and understands. We thought this was very personable of him and a great reflection of the hotel.

This place should be shut down . One of the rudiest racist places i ever been to . I ended up canceling the reservation do to the way i was treated by stay and management

After arriving after midnight, tired from driving 12 hrs, with two kids in tow, the lady at the desk wasn’t in any hurry to check in the gentleman ahead of us. She spent 20 minute trying to find his reservation by an email he was showing her, only at the last minute to just ask him his last name and it pulled right up. I have never had a check in take so long and the staff didn’t seem to care. On top of that( it wasn’t until after checking in did she tell us we would have a hold placed on our credit card in case of damages. So after getting to our room we found damage from previous people that we had to take a picture of to document that it was there when we checked in, just in case we were charged for it. Never had a check in process like this. Don’t recommend this hotel!

Had to change rooms,first one had fleas or something in the couch and bed, second room sheets smelled bad tv barley worked very over priced for what it is, tried to stay an extra night and the front desk said we would get it for one price then turned out to be a different up charged price the breakfast is decent the eggs and gravy and sausage is cold unless you get there when they put it out the bath tubs do not drain right the shower head leaks and the air conditioner doesn’t work correctly and the washer and dryers are broken

Though the price is cheap you still get a clean and comfortable room, it's very convenient to the highway and shopping.

This hotel is located right off I-75 in Macon. It has lots of great shopping, restaurants and even a movie theater within walking distance. We had a minor problem with our linens, the flooring in the elevator needed repair and the dryer on our floor was not working. The front desk clerk must’ve been on a 24 hour shift since he seemed to always be on duty. Breakfast was good and the room itself was great. I feel like it is understaffed, but they are doing the best they can.

Reasonable price, clean and quiet, comfortable bed, large room. The breakfast food is very average but presentation was nice. Improve the breakfast food and property is worthy of five stars.

Showers too small and hard to stand in it. Food tasted bad and cold. Don’t get try he eggs or sausages.

"A Night at the Comfort Inn Suites: Where Snoring Outshines Freeway Noise!" We spent a night at the Comfort Inn Suites in Macon, Georgia, and it was a delightful experience. Our double queen room, complete with a pull-out sofa bed, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, was roomy, clean, and comfortable. It had all the basics a family could ask for. Despite being next to the freeway, the only noise we heard was the symphony of snores from our room! Breakfast was a highlight, with fluffy biscuits and gravy that could make a Southern grandma proud. The kids devoured waffles and eggs, while we enjoyed the coffee and juice variety, fresh fruit, sausage, toast, bagels, pastries, milk, and yogurt. It was a hearty breakfast that fueled our day. The kids loved the indoor pool, which was a big plus. The hotel may be a bit out of date, but they take good care of the premises. The service exceeded our expectations, and the price was great through Expedia. Five stars for a stay that was as comfortable as it was memorable!

Everything was great until it came to the breakfast that is offered. They had no juice, milk, or even pancake batter. There basically was just water if you could find it and toast.
