it was actually quiet but very dated, and in my opinion way overpriced for the dated room,

The room was ok. A bit strange that there’s no hygienic way to clean dishes. So just rinsed them in bathroom and eventually the staff washed them. A better setup for cooking and cleaning would make a week long stay easier.

Shops are located not too far from the hotel. Very clean room. Staff are helpful and polite.

Room was unclean. The carpet was putrid. My wife refused to use the shower. The mattress was well passed its use by date. Horrible sagging into the middle made sleeping impossible. Place needs to be bulldozed. Very disappointed with the Expedia rating. Couldn't be legitimate.
