Last minute booking due to flooding in Maitland. It was clean, and comfortable, and even though it is on the Highway it was quiet. The Receptionist on Check-in was lovely and very friendly. It is a short walk to the Shopping Centre and convenient to access restaurants and shopping. There was a microwave in the room which was a nice surprise!

The room we had was a disabled room which wasn't a concern, the concern was that the room was filthy. The curtains had bird poo all over them. The curtains were falling off the tracks and didn't cover the window properly. The sofa and carpets were filthy and we wore thongs when walking on the carpet. The light fixture was falling off the wall. The room had obviously not been cleaned properly as there was clumps of hair and marks everywhere. The restaurant and room service were no available. For the price and ratings we were very surprised at the room.

The room was clean, well appointed and a good size. The motel is close to amenities and even though it was on the highway there was very little noticeable traffic noise. Definitely on the “stay again” list.

A very basic room. Reception staff were helpful and friendly, but the facilities left a bit to be desired. There was mould on the bathroom ceiling, one of the external doors was broken on a corner, the doors were also difficult to lock. On check out the housekeeping staff attempted to enter the room via both the front and back doors at 8.30am without knocking (despite checkout time being 10 am), luckily I had the chain on the door. The location was convenient for what I needed, (I was visiting someone in the private hospital across the street). If I’m being honest I wouldn’t stay again unless absolutely necessary, however aren’t many other options in the area especially if you don’t have your own vehicle.

The Molly Morgan Motor Inn isn’t a new property by any stretch but it made for a comfortable stay. It’s well positioned to the nearby Stockland Mall at Greenhills which has an excellent food court and retail outlets. Unusually, I was there without a car during a three night stay and needed to rely on taxis to get to and from central Maitland for the Steamfest festival (although Stockland Mall is only a short walk away). For the vast majority of guests who would have cars the property is well positioned on New England Highway. It was also affordable when other properties I first approached had vastly increased their rates for the Maitland Steamfest period.

The bed was super comfortable, fresh crisp linen, well laid out room with full wardrobe and a bath! Solid built room meant noise from the main road was at a minimum and decent blockout curtains. Reception staff were super helpful when i left my reading glasses behind, they found them no drama.

This place is very tired .The bed is the worst bed I have ever sleet in.The bathroom door didn't close therfore it let light in from outsde which contributed to lack of sleep. This was overprived for what we got . Main road very noisy.

We stayed in a room with a QS bed and SB. The room was spacious, clean and beds comfortable. We had everything we needed for a nights stay and the staff were very friendly. It was only a 5-10 min walk to the shopping centre and we had dinner and drinks at The George Tavern which was great. The atmosphere was pleasant, food delicious and staff very helpful when deciding on which wine to select :)

While most of Maitland's hotels were sold out, Molly Morgan Motor Inn had rooms available. Staff were very polite. Close (walking distance) to Green Hills shopping centre which is convenient for food and shopping. Not my first choice for accommodations while in Maitland but for a couple of nights there it will do.
