This place was amazing! It was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. The surroundings are filled with Australian natives and the smell of eucalyptus. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from out room and having a few drinks around the fire pit Can’t wait to come back !!

Good location. Nice to have a front beach view chalet. Nice view from bbq area too. Small heated pool a good bonus and staff kind and helpful. The self service herb bed is a nice touch. A mirror in the small bedroom would be very helpful and a socket there to dry hair or by the bedside table to charge phones. A grater would be very helpful too un the kitchen. Thanks for all the help.

Stunning view from the balcony on the oceanside chalets! Easy access to the beach below. Great amenities, including pool, communal bbq and fire pits. Chalets are not huge, but suitable for a small family or couple. You want to spend all your time on or admiring the view and the beach anyway! If I ammon Tasmania again, I will be sure to come back and stay here!

We happened on these chalets when searching for a beach holiday. We had not previously considered Tassie for summer time. This really is a great place, walkable to all of the shops and tavern. It overlooks Oyster Bay and across to Coles Bay and the Hazards. It is safe to swim [kids too] and is great for most water sports. Great central location for visiting other townships too. The staff are terrific. Beach /pool towels, laundry powder supplied.... perfect!

What an amazing location! We were able to upgrade our cabin to one on the waterfront and it was 100% worth it. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

The chalets are very nice. We did learn that they aren’t all ocean front though….. we couldn’t see the water at all from our chalet. Found the heading for the chalets a bit misleading. There were only 2bdrm chalets left when we booked so weren’t aware that the oceanfront ones were sold out.

Really nice spot, great views and very friendly staff. The rooms were pretty small, but for one person it was fine. The Bark Mill restaurant down the road had great food. A must try when you stay while in Swansea.

Located close to beach but our chalet was well back smallest studio we have encountered. Very basic with broken kitchen faucet, tiny tv on an unlevel angle and could not read the screen on microwave for our microwave dinners. Glad it was only 1 night.

We stayed in a studio chalet which was modern, spacious & well appointed. It had a seaview & the beach was a short walk down a pathway. The receptionist was very friendly & helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery & utensils. The bathroom toiletries were plentiful.

Great spot to base out of to explore the beautiful local area, including Freycinet National Park. Good kitchen space, bed was very comfortable and outside deck was lovely. Easy walk to great little pub at end of road. Very friendly and helpful hosts at front desk.

The palce was clean, the asisstance was GOLD!..ANDY received us at the deska and he was friendly and super helpful. He helped check the weather for us because we werent sure of it was worth the 1hr plus drive to WINEGLASS BAY look out...and he gave many tips about the area, especially where to get the freshiest oysters. He made our visit memorable... THANK YOU ANDY

The positioning of the property was great. Overlooking the water, quiet of an evening you can only hear the birds and the water. Management were so lovely - communication was lovely, helped with logistics and suggestions. I highly recommend the beach chalets. we plan to come back :)

The seaview room is beautiful. All the rooms were bright and warm during winter time. We enjoyed our stay. The owner gave us all the information around the town and useful maps for visiting the national park while check-in. A very thoughtful gentleman.

One of the best property we stayed at in our Tassie trip. We also had a minor issue with car couldn’t start and battery issue but Andy was very patient and helpful to my dad and it was during Christmas. I couldn’t thanked him enough and definitely would not hesitate to book again with Swansea beach Chalet

We had the best stay! Absolutely stunning beach views. Extremely convenient location for the town, wineglass bay, devil’s corner winery, and Maria island. They also have a fun DVD selection, we ended our long day of hiking with pizza and Aquamarine.

Helpful staff. Perfect room for 2 travellers. Stayed overnight after visiting Bicheno, close to local tavern just down the road had great food. Beautiful view to wake up to and watch the sunrise from the balcony. Would definitely stay again if ever travelling this way again.
