WoodSpring Suites Kansas City Mission

Shower didn't get hot all the time, the toilet didn't flush even after moving rooms. There were some seedy and suspicious characters hanging around in the parking lot and near entrances. Police and fire department were called twice during a weekends stay. That being said, at least the front desk staff were honest that my issues probably wouldn't get resolved because the maintenance guy was out all weekend. The hotel is not even a "true Choice Hotel" but a franchise managed by a third party... Go figure!

Great loved how clean it was. How nice and helpful the staff was!

There was no soap in the bathroom and there isn't even an ice machine in the entire building. The staff was Inattentive and rude and I didn’t feel like they cared if I used that facility or not. The bed was clean and comfortable and the kitchen had a microwave and fridge but that’s it. You can definately stay there and it's decent, but bring your own soap and shampoo and fill the ice cube trays in the fridge as soon as you arrive because they don't bother to fill them when they clean the room ahead of your booking. No toaster or coffee pots provided. Air conditioning was adequate but I was disappointed in this facility.
