Lots of lovely shops within walking distance of the hotel for small businesses of Easton and great parks as well. Rooms were nice and tidy with the beds and pillows being super comfy. Front desk staff were polite at check in and even let me check in about an hour before the advertised check in time without issue. My room did not have a balcony since it was probably the most basic version of the room, but it did have a separate shower and whirlpool jet bath tub which felt great on my body. Hotel also does feature a pool to swim in that’s decent in size and a decent 24/7 gym facility to boot. I would suggest that before checking in when hotels.com sends a message in my case two days before check-in to call the hotel and ask for the PIN number to access the gated parking lot it will save a lot of trouble for check-in. I think the only thing that could’ve made this the best hotel stay ever was if breakfast was included but I knew that when I booked the room because the price I paid for was well justified.

I have nothing but positive feedback about the Grand Eastonian. Our suite was immaculate: clean, spacious, comfy bed. The pool was incredible. It was a heated indoor saltwater pool. The surrounding area was beautiful. Great places to go for coffee and food. I’d highly recommend!

I was bummed that the pool was closed because I purposely tried to find a hotel with a pool. It may have been posted on the website that it was closed but I must have not seen it. I took my dog out to the park across the street around 8:30/9pm and early at like 6:30 and I felt very unsafe so it would be nice if there was a safe pet relief area right next to the hotel. But during mid day I felt safe that’s why I didn’t put it above.

Our third time staying here - it’s a nice stopover point on our annual drive from NC to the Boston area. Love it! It’s one of the most unique and coolest places we’ve ever stayed. Some of the rooms are not accessible by elevator, so that’s something to pay attention to when booking. Has a great indoor pool and nice fitness area. Within walking distance of the river walk and numerous restaurants (a wide variety of cuisines). Highly recommend!

Check-in was horrible. The lobby was full of people waiting, no luggage carts to be had. Our room wasn’t ready until 4:45 Poor desk clerk was all alone. The hotel itself was clean, parking was close, pool area was clean and water was nice and warm on a cold winter day. Room was nice with plenty of space when traveling with three young children. Lots of lights, closet space but the bathroom needs a larger sink or maybe add a cabinet in there to hold personal toiletries. Would stay again for convenience to downtown theatre and Crayola Factory but hope check-in would be better if evening dinner plans are needed.

Great property, very well located. Suite was very spacious. There was no counter space in the bathroom (a bit annoying but not a big deal). Pool was great and is open 7-10. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Lobby was spotless, but cant say the same for the suite. While the suite was large, and appeared clean at 1st glance, it was in need to a deep cleaning. The carpet in the master was riddled with stains. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Pool and fitness center were spotless. Probably one of the cleanest hotel pools I've seen in a while.

The staff was very helpful. The bed mattress needs to be replaced. The windows and sidewalks needs to be cleaned.ash tray was convenient but needs to cleaned and scrubbed. Need a channel guide in the rooms.

Beautiful hotel, spectacular view from our window, clean kitchen and bathrooms and the great location. The only complaint was our bedroom carpet was covered in disgusting stains. Everything else was excellent.

A wonderful, clean hotel room in the city. Elegant Architecture was maintained. The bed was clean and comfortable. The jetted tub was clean & so very relaxing. There was so much room to store our items. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions.

What a beautiful hotel! I chose the Grand Eastonian both for its location and for the option to have a small suite. The prices were also extremely reasonable. When I arrived the front desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and check in was quick. When we saw our room we were blow away. It was huge and had windows on three sides. Each view was amazing, and we could see the water and the city! I love that we could come back and have the option of ajoining rooms if we had a bigger group. The room was very clean and had so many amenities! We didnt have a chance to use the gym or pool, but i looked at them and they were very nice. Easton was great as well so I will definitely be back!

It was a cool historic place, but it was cold outside. And the way they have the heating retrofitted, the thermostat had to be at 80 for the space to be a comfortable temp. Also, the lighting is wierd and the bed wasn't great.

In the midst of fitting put the hotel. Room was insane (in a good way) - 2 rooms, 2 queen beds, sleeper sofa, 2 tvs. Would definitely stay again.

Outside the weather, the stay was quite enjoyable. The suite was on the corner of the building, with a wrap around balcony. Views of the Delaware River, the Monument in the Circle and the water fall of the Lehigh flowing into the Delaware, spectacular!

Centrally located with courteous/friendly staff. Can be anything but quiet on the first few floors because of events held within their banquet hall (very loud wedding during my stay) but otherwise a great choice when visiting the area.

The room (single king) was tiny but very comfortable. My son stayed in a suite that was huge! The bathroom was very nice. The location can't be beat, with all kinds of shopping and eating choices within easy walking distance. If you like old-time charm with some modern amenities, this is a great place to stay!

Just terrible. The staff is extremely peasant and the hotel has great bone structure. But the rooms are Barren and empty with nothing on the floors nothing on the walls no decoration whatsoever. It's like sleeping in a cell with bed. Really unfortunate because this hotel obviously can be something special. But right now I would pick almost any place else in the area.

I just completed my stay at this property and was very impressed. I stayed in an amazing suite room with a l-shape balcony. The room, views, and property was amazing. Definitely will be returning and requesting the same room! Love it.

The room was very nice. The mattress was awful and very worn and sunken in. The phone did not work in the room. The fireplace did not work but I assumed because it’s summer maybe it was shut off. The front desk person for evening wasn’t very hospitable. I asked if he could call us when our room was ready because I had asked about early check in when I booked. People came in after us and were being handed their rooms and ours was not ready until just prior to 4. We had an event to go to and that is why I had previously asked about early check in and said I would pay the fee and told it would be noted in my account. One person was our friend on the same floor 5 rooms away and her room was ready before 2 pm. When I asked about a call when ready so we could get ready for our event in time; the gentleman was not very nice and said I can’t move you we are booked up. I didn’t ask him to move us just for a call. Then he didn’t bother explaining the breakfast or anything to us, yet he did with every other guest. Not sure I would stay again. It was pricy and the phone not working and no coffee cups in our room and just this one front desk person was reason enough. Plus kids running and yelling all night in the hallways and outside.

If you are going to advertise and list your hotel with hotels.com you need to train your staff to work with the organization. I use hotels.com all the time with chain hotels but occasionally when I stay at a smaller hotel like this there is an issue where a reservation doesn’t show up. I was treated rudely by the FOH staff and told that it was my problem that my reservation didn’t go through and that I had to call hotels.com to work it out. If you as an organization are going to contract through hotels/expedia, then you are responsible for having communication with them, not the hotel guest. After 1.25 hrs sitting in your lobby with hungry kids and a wife who was missing her appointment, your FOH staff did indeed discover that the reservation was sitting in an email inbox on a separate computer. The fact that she was rude instead of apologetic is just kind of bush league. Train your staff dude.

Arrived in town to find out there was a bike race and all the streets were closed by hotel. Called to ask how to get to parking lot, was told to park on other side of town and walk to hotel. Took 35 minutes to go around to other parking lot only for it to be full. Went to dinner on other side of town when got back to hotel had to go in to get a code to get into parking lot. Asked why they didn’t notify me of road closure, was told to check my email for information, did NOT have email, then asked to check spam was NOT there either. Instead of apologizing and maybe offering a drink or snack for the inconvenience nothing. Next day taking shower had very quick temperature changes in water, had to stop and stand back with hair full of soap because water was ice cold. Tried to call front desk but phone was not connected to any wires. When I went to front desk told them about water and response was we will let someone know. Not just inconvenient because of bike race but no customer service. Also floors where not clean in the closet or corner when I moved chair to sit and watch tv. All this could have been overlooked with simple customer service or guest relations.

The Hotel was very nice... and in a great location. Thyme restaurant & rooftop bar is two doors down... Glazed donuts is across the street !! The Confluence of the Delaware & Lehigh Rivers is an easy walk... The Larry Holmes statue is right by the Confluence also...

I adore old hotels and The Grand Eastonian is a diamond in the rough. You can tell management is really trying to bring it back to life. The property was extremely clean and the maintenance was constantly busy keeping it that way. Room was spacious and clean. Walls are a bit thin but our neighbor had a voice that carried, two little kids and it was 11:45 at night so I was sensitive to it. The whirlpool tub was amazing but for some reason I couldn’t get hot water in the shower no matter how I turned the lever. It was tepid at best. The taps should be marked hot and cold. The free breakfast had the basic choices but could have been better. The attendant told a family near me they don’t serve meat with breakfast. No waffle maker but they had a toaster with bagels. Coffee cups are super small. The breakfast room itself was kind of dreary.We ended up eating at the adorable restaurant on site that’s open from 7-3. Had a Friends vibe with cool furnishings and the food was good at a decent price. There’s a beautiful patio on the lobby level and the pool was clean and warm. I wish this beautiful old hotel many years of growth and refurbishing. All in all a nice stay and you can walk everywhere.

The phone didn’t work and there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. To contact the front desk we had to use our cell phones. When we did get the front desk to try to tell them about the non-working phone and missing soap we were told “I am busy checking in people “. Eventually my husband went downstairs in his pjs and robe to complain. A lovely lady from housekeeping came to our room shortly thereafter with the needed supplies. The phone never worked. We have stayed here before and the breakfast was very nice, up to the standards of this price hotel. This time the breakfast was terrible. We have had better at roadside motels. A few bagels, some cereal and yogurt is not the kind of breakfast we expect at this hotel price point.

We rented multiple rooms for multiple families to stay. We were there to go to crayola for the New Year Eve Celebration. Loved our spacious room with well stocked kitchen. The views from the windows were nice as well. Slightly disappointed that we only had free breakfast on the 1st morning and not the 2nd day because they no longer offered it as of 1/1. But we were able to walk to Billys diner, i think they should of made us aware prior to check in. Pool area is very dark, but water was warm. Overall it was a great trip! Staff was respectful and attentive

B The suite was roomy. All counters were granite. The windows were quite drafty. There was no thick comforter available for the bed, so the night stay was a cold one. Old Easton downtown is a bit down-at-heel, but charming in its historic way. The biggest plus is the saltwater pool and the quiet hours during the night. No coffee in the lobby, but a shop next door. Enjoy the electric fireplace and the view of the waterfall on the river.
