My family and I stayed at Barut Hemera during the low season in February. I was concerned about the amenities as our vacation was during winter, but the hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of restaurant options, activities and hospitality services. Our kids, 9 and 15, had a relaxing time, spending time at the pool, the sauna and the Turkish hamam. Every meal was amazing with lots of options across cuisines. We also enjoyed the a la cart seafood restaurant called Sandal, which offered a great feast. Lastly, every single employee at the hotel was warm, accommodating and with a simle on their faces. Barut Hemera is going to be on top of our list for our next vacation in Turkish south.

Excellent hotel with even better staff and I would return again. If I wrote all the great things, this review would be very long. There are a couple reasons why I can’t give it a perfect score though but they are simple to rectify. The heated pools are at 26 degrees, ourselves and other guests agreed this was probably too cold to relax in and made me regret the extra amount for a swim up room. The AC didn’t go below 22 degrees, we are used to sleeping quite cold and not being able to control this is disappointing and led to slightly uncomfortable nights. Finally, the shampoo given doesn’t lather and didn’t clean my wife’s hair, it’s the first thing we had to buy shampoo on a holiday But I must reiterate, we had a great time there and would recommmend it

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is located right on the beach. You can reach the beach by walking through the amazing garden and pool area. Everything is clean and well maintained. There are lounge chairs and seating areas everywhere which gives a really nice atmosphere. You can walk along the beach and water side straight into Side. There are shops and restaurants along the way. The All Inclusive option in the hotel was amazing. The hotel has two a la carte restaurants and a regular open buffet as well as plenty of bars and lounge areas. The presentation and amount of food was mind blowing. Simply beautiful. There is a Spa, hotel shops, a gym, an arcade and a club as well. Every day there are activities for the hotel guests. We had a wonderful stay celebrating my birthday. Even though it was February, the weather was warm and sunny every day. I recommend coming here during the winter months if you don’t want to deal with a lot of people. We will definitely come back. Thank you :-)

Everything I was after I got from my stay here… a modern clean tidy room, an abundance of quality food around the clock and great service & care from the staff. The weather was warm as expected for the time of year so no sunbathing but there was no issues being outside. I got the peace I needed, if I had to find something that would have made it perfect for me it would be a TV that could connect to external devices via WiFi.

Tolles Hotel!! Super schönes und abwechslungsreiches Hotelgelände. Super nettes und immer hilfsbereites Servicepersonal. Klasse Pool, sauber, groß, mit schöner Rutschenanlage. In diesem Hotel wird alles geboten, von Animation, über verschiedene Restaurants, einem unglaublich stilvollem Spabereich und Essensangebot rund um die Uhr. Einfach Genial, wir würden es immer wieder buchen.

Great resort, nice property and facilities for family stay. Very good breakfast, buffet option and à la carte restaurants. Staff super friendly and attentive, above and beyond to help, free parking onsite very convenient. And plus for the upgrade room with pool at adult zone.

Excellent especially for families with young kids. There's plenty to do. Good food with lota of choices. Only complaint would be that the indoor pools weren't heated to the temperature it was meant to be heated to on the last day of our stay (i.e. to 28 degrees for the adults pool and 29 degrees for the kids pool - the kids pool was actually much colder than the adults one), so we couldn'treally use them for very long at all. With it being the winter, warm indoor pools are a central part of the holiday. Pleased with everything else.

We went on a short holiday to Barut Hemera and wished we had stayed longer! Our room was beautiful and attached to a shared pool which was lovely! Even though the resort isn’t adult only we appreciated that there were 16 areas and found it very peaceful and quiet. We are newlyweds (28 and 30) and this was an ideal holiday! The beach is beautiful and there were always loungers available. The food was good and we enjoyed the opportunity to have one a la carte dinner on our last night :) We also enjoyed the spa and had a massage and peel which was so relaxing and we would definitely recommend! There are also saunas and a steam room that you can use free of charge during the day. The resort is lovely and has everything you need on site which makes for an stress-free experience. We will definitely go back when we need another relaxing vacation! Thank you!

The Check In was so easy, just sitting on the sofa with a drink. We were upgraded to a room with a Jacuzzi, which was nice. The rooms are a bit small but furnished to high standards with daily refilling of the mini bars. The pools were nice and the food was good. Bars were well equipped with quality alcohol. Staff were always nice and helpful. Beach was kept clean and the seats were comfortable. Evening shows were great too! Lots of seating and sunbeds on the grass, in the share also Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay here again if coming to the region.

Hôtel magnifique, idéalement situé pour faire de très belles promenades en bord de mer. Personnel très professionnel et hyper chaleureux qui a contribué grandement à faire de nos vacances un enchantement. Buffet très varié de très bonne qualité, hygiène parfaite, décor intérieur et extérieur sublimes.... Nous avons séjourné en famille (12 personnes) et nous sommes unanimes .....nous avons TOUT apprécié. Merci à tous.

Personal ist immer sehr freundlich!Tolle , weitläufige Anlage. Hervorragendes Essen.Komfortable Zimmer. Jacuzzi auf Balkon wurde leider nur auf Anfrage gereinigt. Auch die Dusche , vor allem die stark verkalkte Duschtüre bedarf einer intensiven Reinigung.

Otelin hizmeti ve imkânları çok güzel. Ancak ben rezervasyon yaptırmadan önce gürültü hassasiyetimin olduğunu özellikle söyledim. Otel ilk gece pek kimsenin olmadığı bir kata verdi beni ve sessiz uyudum. İkinci geceden itibaren çocuklu aileler yan odalara geldi ve eziyet başladı. Çocuklar çok fazla gürültü yaptı ve huzurlu dinlemedim odada. Bir kere resepsiyona bu konuda şikayet ilettim ama malum aile olunca ne yapabilirler ki !? 5 yıldızlı otellerde bekar ve solo erkek (!) misafir pek tercih edilmez ancak aileler daha rahatsız edici bence. Yatak odalarının olduğu kısım dinlenmek içindir, ben katlarda bağıra bağıra oynayan çocuklar gördüm her gün, otelde çocuklar için pek çok oyun alanları olmasına rağmen. (5 gün kaldım). Otelin odaları ses geçirmez deniyor ama ben yan odadaki konuşmaları duyuyordum. Gürültü hassasiyeti olanlar için tavsiye edemem, ama bu otelin değil bazı çocuklu ailelerin düşüncesiz ve saygısızlıkları yüzünden olduğunu da belirtmeliyim.

The heated pools are at 26 degrees, ourselves and other guests agreed this was probably too cold to relax in and made me regret the extra amount for a swim up room. The AC didn’t go below 22 degrees, we are used to sleeping quite cold and not being able to control this is disappointing and led to slightly uncomfortable nights. Finally, the shampoo given doesn’t lather and didn’t clean my wife’s hair, it’s the first thing we had to buy shampoo on a holiday But I must reiterate, we had a great time there and would recommmend it

Fantastic hotel ,I cannot fault it . The staff are friendly, efficient and very welcoming. The rooms are luxurious modern and clean. The food is extremely good plentiful and varied. The international restaurant and Sandals are of a very high standard. I have stayed in many hotels in Turkey and the Barut Hemera is the best .

Everything I was after I got from my stay here… a modern clean tidy room, an abundance of quality food around the clock and great service & care from the staff. The weather was warm as expected for the time of year so no sunbathing but there was no issues being outside. I got the peace I needed, if I had to find something that would have made it perfect for me it would be a TV that could connect to external devices via WiFi.

Great resort, nice property and facilities for family stay. Very good breakfast, buffet option and à la carte restaurants. Staff super friendly and attentive, above and beyond to help, free parking onsite very convenient. And plus for the upgrade room with pool at adult zone.

We went on a short holiday to Barut Hemera and wished we had stayed longer! Our room was beautiful and attached to a shared pool which was lovely! Even though the resort isn’t adult only we appreciated that there were 16 areas and found it very peaceful and quiet. We are newlyweds (28 and 30) and this was an ideal holiday! The beach is beautiful and there were always loungers available. The food was good and we enjoyed the opportunity to have one a la carte dinner on our last night :) We also enjoyed the spa and had a massage and peel which was so relaxing and we would definitely recommend! There are also saunas and a steam room that you can use free of charge during the day. The resort is lovely and has everything you need on site which makes for an stress-free experience. We will definitely go back when we need another relaxing vacation! Thank you!

The Check In was so easy, just sitting on the sofa with a drink. We were upgraded to a room with a Jacuzzi, which was nice. The rooms are a bit small but furnished to high standards with daily refilling of the mini bars. The pools were nice and the food was good. Bars were well equipped with quality alcohol. Staff were always nice and helpful. Beach was kept clean and the seats were comfortable. Evening shows were great too! Lots of seating and sunbeds on the grass, in the share also Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay here again if coming to the region.

My family and I stayed at Barut Hemera during the low season in February. I was concerned about the amenities as our vacation was during winter, but the hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of restaurant options, activities and hospitality services. Our kids, 9 and 15, had a relaxing time, spending time at the pool, the sauna and the Turkish hamam. Every meal was amazing with lots of options across cuisines. We also enjoyed the a la cart seafood restaurant called Sandal, which offered a great feast. Lastly, every single employee at the hotel was warm, accommodating and with a simle on their faces. Barut Hemera is going to be on top of our list for our next vacation in Turkish south.

What a superb hotel this is. We enjoyed a great holiday here with our grown up family. Attention is very evidently paid to every aspect of the hotel and its running, making for a faultless experience as a guest. Everything from the maintenance of rooms, grounds, and services, to the bar and restaurants, the quality of the food and drink, and very importantly the demeanour and courtesy of the universally wonderful staff is done very well. Some in our group had to change rooms due to a maintenance issue, but the proactive approach taken to compensating us immediately neutralised the inconvenience, to the degree that we actually felt it had been good fortune! There is attention to detail everywhere you look: as an example the table tennis table is kept equipped with good quality table tennis bats that are clearly renewed regularly and never allowed to degrade to being tatty. We were impressed particularly with how consistently every member of staff - from room cleaners, to bar staff, and entertainment staff - was professionally pleasant, and went about their jobs with cheerfulness. We know not all guests are easy to deal with but witnessed just how well some challenging situations were approached. The hotel leadership and management are clearly doing something right here to have a team that behaves this way, and this hugely contributes to the enjoyable experience of being a guest here. We would all come back here, in a flash, and hopefully we will.

Tolles, familienfreundliches Hotel mit direktem Strandzugang. Das Gelände ist sehr hübsch angelegt mit vielen Bäumen. Wie ein großer Park. Es fällt leicht zum Meer hin ab, aber ganz ohne lästige Stufen und Treppen. Sehr hübsche Familienzimmer. Man kann lange im Freien verweilen und von Pool, zur Bar, zum Café, zum Strandrestaurant hin und her schlendern. Unsere Aussicht im Zimmer war weniger schön, außerdem lag unser Zimmer über dem Glascontainer, der auch gerne mal um 23.00 Uhr noch befüllt wurde. Der Miniclub könnte einen schöneren Außenbereich haben und der Spielplatz Richtung Strand ist etwas klein und für die Hotelgröße nicht passend ausgestattet. Aber das waren auch schon die einzigen Mankos. Das Essen war super, die Drinks und das Personal auch. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is located right on the beach. You can reach the beach by walking through the amazing garden and pool area. Everything is clean and well maintained. There are lounge chairs and seating areas everywhere which gives a really nice atmosphere. You can walk along the beach and water side straight into Side. There are shops and restaurants along the way. The All Inclusive option in the hotel was amazing. The hotel has two a la carte restaurants and a regular open buffet as well as plenty of bars and lounge areas. The presentation and amount of food was mind blowing. Simply beautiful. There is a Spa, hotel shops, a gym, an arcade and a club as well. Every day there are activities for the hotel guests. We had a wonderful stay celebrating my birthday. Even though it was February, the weather was warm and sunny every day. I recommend coming here during the winter months if you don’t want to deal with a lot of people. We will definitely come back. Hôtel magnifique, idéalement situé pour faire de très belles promenades en bord de mer. Personnel très professionnel et hyper chaleureux qui a contribué grandement à faire de nos vacances un enchantement. We had a fantastic family holiday at Barut Hemera Resort – everything from the hospitality to the facilities exceeded our expectations. Es waren 10 fantastische Tage in diesem wunderschönen Hotel. Insbesondere möchten wir uns bei dem erstklassigen Personal bedanken, das dafür gesorgt hat, dass es uns an nichts fehlte . Ob Koch, Kellner, Zimmerfrau oder Gärtner, alle strahlten eine unglaubliche Freundlichkeit aus. Für das leibliche Wohl war mehr als genug gesorgt. Wenn man wollte konnte man den ganzen Tag essen, sich Cocktails am Strand servieren lassen oder in einem der vielen Restaurants essen oder sich eine Snack holen. Die Patisserie mit ihren leckeren Törtchen hat uns jeden Tag magisch angezogen. Es gibt aus unserer Sicht absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Wir sind sehr gern wieder Gast in diesem Hotel.

In spite of being a Hotels.com Rewards Gold member, I was not offered an upgrade at this VIP Access hotel, even if a better room was available. When I asked, I was offered to pay a discounted rate for the upgrade. Disappointing that the hotel does not fulfil its promises as a VIP Access site. Otherwise, this is a very comfortable hotel with great food and friendly service.

Amazing staff, quality service, beautiful experience. The only thing I did not love, they told me that hotel management wants all the left over food to go to waste, instead of giving the left over meats to the cats in the gardens, or to a shelter.

We came as a couple for a four-day wedding anniversary stay. The location was excellent. Compared to every other property surrounding it, this is the best: understated yet luxurious, quiet yet family-friendly, and meticulously maintained. We had a lovely room for two with a jacuzzi on the balcony that made for some nice memories. The grounds are lovely, both family-friendly and couple-friendly, as there are quiet spaces set aside for adults only as well as spaces for families with kids. The food was amazing; we gorged ourselves a bit. The staff was wonderful. Here we send a special shout-out to Vural bey for making our anniversary celebration one to remember through his generosity. Also, Tugba hanim was very kind and helpful to us in the first day. I'd love to list everyone in the wait staff by name, but the space is not nearly enough. The other guests are wonderful, too. Barut Hemera is very highly recommended, if you plan to stay in Side. Don’t even consider any of the other options.
