I liked the clean and modern atmosphere of the hotel. Did not like the fact that the pool is only open 10-10. Hardly gives you any time to swim in the morning before you have to check out.

We stayed here and were extremely happy. Check in and out took 30 seconds. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast options included in price were amazing. Pool is huge and good hot tub. Our room was very clean. The staff were so nice. Highly recommend staying here!

The Pool is the only reason we booked this hotel...IF you are going to say a Hotel has a pool perhaps it should be actually working????? We checked in then by the sign not by the employee I read the pool was not in operation. She said I could phone you & cancel which of course you DO NOT have a phone number so I am wondering if I can get any rebate on this room charge?

We arrived and asked when breakfast was and found out it is catered in hot. She told us 530 am it starts. We had to go to the airport at 5 so we decided to get breakfast at timmies but when we came down in the morning at 5 am breakfast was already there and no people were setting it up so it was there ready for a while. Accurate information would be nice. Breakfast was mediocre at best. The beds were soft but ok. The bathroom had specs of dirt on toilet paper and the counter had water puddles . The sink had hair so I cleaned the bathroom myself. The state of the building is old and the elevator creeks and made us nervous. Not impressed I don't think it's up to holiday in standards so we will stay elsewhere next time as the price is pretty high for what you get.

I had issues with the cleanliness of my room in Sept - the bed had blood on it and when I told the front staff they brought me new sheets that I had to change my self. Also the clock had the wrong time and again when I told the front deck - I was told nothing can be done about it.

The hotel itself is great, although oddly laid out with the elevators seemingly in another building. The staff was very accommodating, even though we really didn’t interact a lot. The breakfast was very typical of hotels that offer it as included, in other words very basic. Our room was spacious and clean, and had a small opening window which is great to get some fresh air into the room. Our air conditioner was noisy as all get out, so thankfully the window helped. One terrible thing was how long it took to get hot water, regardless of the time of days. We are talking at least three minutes, maybe closer to four, didn’t time it. That is unacceptable on a number of levels, mostly for us, wasting water. Even if you shower a couple of minutes after your partner you have to wait again. For this reason alone we would not stay there again.

I had booked two weeks prior for volleyball and when I checked in they said they had overbooked and moved me to a hotel 10 minutes away and with no pool and lesser quality rooms for same price. So my daughter didn’t stay so the her team. Very disappointed.

Once my wife and I got the right room it was comfortable and had a great sleep. Breakfast was delicious. At first we were given the wrong room than we had reserved, and then given a room with someone in it, which made an awkward encounter. However the staff was very apologetic and did their best to make things right. I understand that people are humans and we all make mistakes. So after that hassle things were great!

Booked online with credit card, had photos of credit cards on phone. Wanted to check in with my two small children in the evening only to be told I had to have them(credit cards) there physically. How many of us have e- wallets now? I had pictures and ID or was more than willing to do “cash” deposit. Something so that I didn’t have to worry about my family and mines stay for the night. Needless to stay they wouldn’t work with me for anything. Went to Quality Inn next door and they even booked me a room based on only pictures. Terrible customer service Holiday Inn!!! Get with the times! And don’t leave a family hanging due to such a silly oversight! Won’t book with you again!

At check in they told me about the customer appreciation with free pizza and beer. I had three small slivers of pizza and when I went back for more, I was basically scowled at by the lady serving for asking for another piece. There was lots left over so I’m not sure what the problem was. Everything else was great.

Taxi drivers need to assure which hotel is the correct one as I had a taxi take me to the wrong Holiday Inn causing me to call a taxi again to get to the Express.

I didnt love the breakfast options on the weekend. They dont make bacon and by sunday it was the same things. I cant eat dairy so lots of options were cut out for me. I tried the sausages but they just werent the greatest imo. I prefer bacon. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We switched hotels last minute and were glad we did. Emma our breakfast lady during the week was a gem to chat with. The front end staff were incredible, very friendly despite all the negative reviews about them. We spent 4 days there and not once was a staff member rude. The rooms smell and look clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Would stay here again any day!!
