Nice and central to Mullum, run by the "middle" pub - that does excellent $20 meals. Relatively easy to find, adequate parking, a short walk to everything. Affordable and reasonably basic, it still has all you need and a comfy bed.

There was insufficient parking for cars, so we had to find alternative parking and carry our luggage in heavy rain to the motel. Additionally there is no reception at the motel. You have walk down the street to a pub and pick up a key there, which was also a nuisance specially when it was raining.

It's the only Motel in Town, The key has to be collected from a Pub a block away if you can get the staff's attention. Old and run down. No staff onsite. There is not enough parking for all units. we had to park on the street. This place needs serious money to be spent on it.

The room was a decent size, very clean & quiet. The bed was comfortable & the towels were excellent, unlike some budget motels where they feel like sandpaper. Some things to be aware of are that there is no reception on the premises, you need to walk about 300m to the Middle Pub & collect them there. Also, the parking at the motel is ridiculously tight & limited because some bays are roped off. There is ample street parking neaby though, just inconvenient. Overall I would recommend this Motel as a good budget option in Mullum as it's in a central location & good value.

Well we had a nice stay however cleaness could be improved. Stained and old smelly carpets needs replacing. Also the light needs to be covered as the bulbs uncovered and dangerous next time i will need it fix asap in Room 8 where we stayed. We need a microwave as well for convience. Window blinds full of dust. I will attach a photo on this email. Thank you

Good proximity to Byron bay at a fraction of the cost. Lots of amenities close by as well. Clean room with regular cleaning, kettle, toaster and ironing board were a nice addition

Great location but needs a big overhaul. Can feel "bed bone's" coming through. Needs a good dust, mould in the shower and on walls. Mould on ceiling and walls. Needs a good clean up.

I feel that room 17 needed improvement as far as mattress on single bed & the electrical fittings. The bathroom light switch is dodgy & the single power point between beds was attached to panelling which has come away from wall.

Absolutely fantastic service and staff. Checking in was easy at The Middle and it was central so everything was in walking distance. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. The shower was nice pressure but no shower curtain so the water tended to spread. The only issue is the services club next door had a live band going on my last night there but that is no reflection on the motel itself.

Check in is at Middle pub around the corner, no staff on site here. Everything was ok for basic accommodation. Clean enough, convenient location (Mullumbimby is small), reasonably priced for what you get, no frills.

A little confusing after getting key returning back motel unpacking car then realising I was given wrong key. After reloading the car and driving to another location to up key made it a long day. Which didn’t help my experience

We knew this wasn’t going to be the Hilton. But we didn’t want it to be. It was humble, homely and in the most incredible location. We had dinner at a near by Italian restaurant and then saw a cool band down at the middle pub. The next day we went to Crystal castle. All of these activities were so convenient thanks to the location of our accommodation at this motel. The rooms were way cuter than we thought too. We would stay again :)

Great value accommodation in the centre of Mulum. We were a family of 5 so the Queen room with a double bed plus 3 singles, was perfect. We ate in the Middle Pub that is owned by the same organisation and that was also excellent value. Coffee, tea and milk provided. The shower worked well and the beds were comfortable.

Clean room. Bed was fine. Perfectly functional for a work stopover. The club next door does a good meal. No on-site manager, you have to go to a pub in town to check-in and get your key - so that was a bit weird.

Excellent place to stay. The room was comfortable. The linens were nice and clean. Because there is no food options on the premises. It is recommended that a microwave be provided in the room will help. Overall very happy with stay.
