Great central location, we could walk to everything. The room size was perfect for a family, very spacious and we really enjoyed the pool.

Expedia details for this property suggest there is: a bar, a restaurant and room service. None of these features exist and something I was hoping to make use of. Expedia's rating is 8.4, very good. I think that rating is extremely generous, and I would suggest a rating reflecting Average to Poor. Good points: There was a bed. It was clean. Very disappointed overall.

First of all was greeted poorly, we checked in approximately 7:45, 15mins prior to closing time. We had booked for 3 people, 2 adults and 1 Child (9) the room was fitted with 2 towels and only a double bed. Pool needed to be tended too, it was very cloudy, and a small shade of green. Mould in the grout lines of the bathroom, cracked shower screen. The facilities in the room were great, had toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge, tea, coffee,sugar, milk and biscuits. We decided to stay in Lismore to help and support a rebuilding community, however these are issues that could be rectified easily.

Nice clean modern rooms and great customer service on check in. Parking was limited. Rooms next door were very noisy resulting in limited sleep.

Photos do not show what rooms are really like , booked a single queen bed room , was given a low quality double room , no breakfast menu , did not see any restaurant , that disappointed , left within 1/2 hour of arrival , drove to next destination for a better class of motel , will never go back , nothing nice to say about this motel

This is not your average country town courtyard motel with parking adjacent to room. The on-site restaurant has not re-opened since the flood. Our room was in an adjacent, older, repurposed building, accessed by two staircases, a veranda and internal corridor. It was sparsely furnished, clean, despite stained carpet and an unmistakable smell of mould, not surprising after the devastating floods. The room had no external window but did have a TV, frig, kettle etc. and an efficient air conditioner which mitigated the mouldy smell. The bathroom was huge, with an opening window, a spa bath which was out of order, an over bath shower with no grab rail. Most disconcerting was having no door, not even a curtain separating the bedroom from the bathroom, especially as the lavatory was directly across from the opening. Anywhere but a town recovering from the ravages of devastating floods, I would consider the accommodation substandard and overpriced. On reflection we should have not visited Lismore, a town recovering from devastating floods, accommodating in motels, people whose homes have been destroyed and workers repairing the damage.

Cockroaches crawling from cracks in the walls, dried blood on the back of the door, rubbish bin was full of previous people’s rubbish, surfaces were grimy, no cover on the quilt, and had a person under the influence yelling all night to themselves walking in and around the property. Everyone says you’ll find yourself at a horrible stay like this once in your life and I hope I never experience it again.

Positives - It’s central to the CBD of Lismore. Negatives, the room was dirty (old carpets with stains) mould on fridge door, no flyscreen on windows so several bugs in the room. Bathroom was renovated so poorly, it was laughable. Gaps in gyprock, split edges, cornices that don’t fit properly. Three little bottles of shampoo but no conditioner, water took 6 minutes to warm up, shower is dirty with rust stains! Basically, it was awful experience. Never going back.

My son and I stayed for one night as he was attending the North Coast PSSA Athletics Trials that was being held in Lismore. Our room was very satisfactory for a night. It was clean and had everything we needed. The linen was extremely clean . The man with the beard at reception was very nice. We had a lovely stay.

Dirty carpet and chairs. Musty smell in room . Stains on hand towel. No door to bathroom. Holes in curtains. Fibro in window in place of glass panel. Electrical cable sticking out of wall in partly renovated bathroom. dirty coffee cup. No fly screen on only opening window and blinds that would not go up or down. Rusty rubbish bin. Not worth $170 dollars - we won’t be back

Very tidy clean and comfortable beds

No hot water , dirty run down dump . I don’t mind old but should be clean worst accomodation I’ve had for years and expensive $239 a nigh Sleep in your car rather then here

The room was really noisy and I didnt get any sleep. This may have been out of the hotels control. However, there were bugs and mould spots on the sheets which was totally unacceptable.

For the price, it was clean and comfortable. The room was fronting the road and noisy from traffic. There appeared to be rooms away from the road though.

Convenient for downtown Lismoee and the base hospital. Refurbished after the flood. But no windows so it seems like a gaol cell! All for $150 per night! And that is cheap for Lismore. Prices are out of control!

I stayed in the deluxe 2 room suite. It was satisfactory. Modern with comfortable beds.

We booked a basic room and that's what we got. The rooms need work but it is not a 5 star establishment.

Average hotel, room beside main road. It was loud! But bed was comfy and sheets clean. So no real complaints

Tried calling motel number through the wotif app as well as dialling ourselves and phone didn’t ring just made weird sound then hung up on us. Found the night bell, called it twice, very grumpy mgr not impressed with our arrival time told us he shouldn’t be letting us in at this time. Room was hard to find, numbers on doors missing digits, too many negatives about aesthetics to mention Had to ask people at 3:30am to please be quiet as couldn’t sleep with all the noise in courtyard. Woke at 6 to some kind of yelling verbal altercation between a couple with aggressive foul language for at least 5mins. Was concerned with the rabbit Warren layout and dead ends to corridors. Needed a room for sleep which we didn’t get much of. Wouldn’t stay again as we just driving though. Sorry but this is hotel I would never recommend and I’m happy to rough it but not here

After dealing with water entering our room from a storm on the first night, the manager upgraded us to another room for the second night. We also received a refund for our accommodation. Needless to say we were totally satisfied with the outcome.

My plane landed early so arrived earlier than 2pm. They saw me standing in cold with my luggages infront if the reception for 1 hour but did not check me in until after 2pm. The room was dirty and the cleaning lady asked me if i would want her to mop the floor of the room. I became speechless.

Manager was extremely rude when i arrived, late but had rang & arranged late arrival.

Staff were friendly and efficient and the Motel was safe and quiet and very convenient to all shopping and dinning

Lismore has had a tough time. The hotel has been refurbished. It’s clean. The manager was helpful with directions and the best place to get dinner. I needed to be close to the hospital so it ticked all the boxes. Get behind Lismore businesses.

It was a lovely clean room, nice to get complimentary drinks in our fridge. Very comfy bed and pillows. Little extras like fragrance made it very nice. And it was no trouble for our host to hunt diwn a couple of wine glasses. So good to see the community getting back on its feet after such devastating floods.

Stayed 1night, comfortable stay, everything is new inside the room. Free breakfast packs, free drinks (3 x water bottles and Coke cans each). Friendly staff. Definitely will stay again. Not far away from Byron bay. Support Lismore economy post floods.
