We have stayed at Links a few times before. It used to be a beautiful place with lovely grounds and special touches. It is disappointing that the outdoor areas now look rather unkept with old and dirty furniture. The lounge is lovely but it was very cold & the fire would have been nice. Our room was also cold & the advertised central heating didn’t work. For the price, we felt the renovated room was not very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were nice but the service could be improved.

Wonderful old school country hotel. Staff always super helpful . Can’t do better for a winter getaway. Lounge area with open fire is a highlight. Rooms comfortable and bathrooms small yet recently renovated. Breakfast included is a nice touch.

Comfortable old building. Staff pleasant& food excellent. Outside sitting areas disappointing. Chairs old & uncomfortable. Not enough room in room for friends to sit. Called “Links House” however no access to course without driving over 1km.

Lovely grounds. The room was comfortable for our weekend stay for a wedding close by. The bed was really comfortable and we had everything in the room that we needed. The breakfast that was included with our stay was also good. Would definitely stay again to be able to enjoy more meals at the restaurant and other feature's of the grounds that we weren't there long enough to enjoy.

This is an older style accommodation facility. The Manager ( Megan), was outstanding in supporting us during our stay( with pet dog) The room was very clean, however, there was no shower screen door, or curtain, hence was difficult to keep the bathroom floor dry. And, perhaps a small ( collapsible) table for those who wish to dine in their room. Would I stay there again ... for sure.

Due to quick room change they missed cleaning the bathroom which was covered in grey hair. Lounge and restaurant are great and the included breakfast is very good. My meal was risotto in the restaurant which was just undercooked rice and peas which I told the waiter but had to response to. Hotel Is great value for what you get but the dinner was over priced for what I was served. My mothers dish was great. But required and extra payment because it was steak.

Lovely quiet, peaceful location. Room was very clean and comfortable. Grounds around the property are well maintained and its very relaxing to sit by the fish pond with a glass of wine under the tall trees.

The concierge staff member on arrival was friendly and professional. Our room was meticulously clean, small but sufficient for a short stay. Our room was the closest to the sitting/bar/dinning rooms, it was noisy at times with lots of thoroughfare, with people coming in and out of the door leading to these rooms, which was right next to our door. We were however charged by the property on top of Wotif who we had booked & paid through. Unfortunately this caused my credit card account to be suspended due to investigation for a fraudulent/unauthorised transaction. It might seem like a small error on behalf of the accommodation site, however the repercussion is going to take weeks to rectify as my account was suspended.

Good comfortable bed, meals at restaurant were very good, staff friendly and helpful. Building and gardens run down and in need of maintenance. Did not feel rooms / bathrooms were really clean. Shower needs a good scrub and attention to detail like dusty light fittings and bar shelves in the reception rooms. Holes in floorboards of our room filled with newspaper.

A beautiful property well maintained, lovely garden spaces. Staff were friendly, helpful & nothing was too much trouble.The dining was excellent for both dinner & breakfast, so delicious & well presented an absolute gourmet treat. Our room was a bit disappointing with soiled sheets, toilet not clean& 1 tissue in the box - these things should be checked prior to a new guest arrival for such a great property to make it an overall great experience.

The best king bed we have experienced in our travels. Very tasty breakfast included in the price. At 6pm on a cold night we were looking forward to a drink in front of the fire which is advertised in the photos. It was barely alight and within 20 minutes had gone out. The room was not welcoming at all. The minute bathroom sink and top were very small and my toiletries were on the floor despite it being a large room. Being over 70 we had great difficulty with the TV system.

Disappointing for the price. Rooms are very small and the bathrooms tiny. The wash basin was the size of my hand. No door on the shower so the entire tiny bathroom is drenched immediately. Restaurant food was nothing special, despite Michael's efforts to be hospitable. I would look elsewhere!

The property has been beautifully refurbished. It’s a lovely place to stay. They light the fire in the evenings and it’s cosy to sit in the communal area and read a book. The hotel looks on to the golf course and the restaurant is delicious. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The only issue is that the acoustics for the Majorie and Wilkinson rooms weren’t great so you can hear your neighbours.

This is a charming older style boutique hotel. Rooms are small and en-suite tiny, but functional. The cooked breakfast is very generous with eggs cooked perfectly to our order. The open fire in the lounge is a very welcoming sight when we returned each day and was a great place to meet and get to know other guests. Megan who is either the owner or manager is charming and seems to be able to remain totally calm during what I suspect is the hectic breakfast serve period. I would question whether short term guests like us need an ironing board and iron in the room and would prefer to see some shelves in the wardrobe to allow our small bags to be unpacked. This last point seems to be the same for all hotels in the area so not meant as a criticism of Links House. Having checked out some other options in the area for future visits, nothing comes close to matching the friendly atmosphere here. Will definitely stay here whenever we come back to Bowral

Quiet and short drive to the main strip We stayed in the Marjorie room which was adequate for one night. We found the bed too soft for a comfortable sleep. It would be great to have a fly screen on the window so we could leave the window open without the threat of mosquitoes

Beautiful property, lovely staff. Rated 4 star because rooms are not sound proof at all (we were woken middle of night by screaming child) then again about 4am onwards by same family and shower was pretty dodgy and impossible to have a full length hot shower kept changing to cold! I would stay again in the hopes that we were unlucky with the noisy people next door!

Poor service and no response to our concerns. While a very attractive property, sitting in a nice room with NO television is something you do not expect from what promotes itself as a quality establishment- and charges as such. Their failure to respond when the issue was raised shows the contempt they feel toward their "guests".

Exceptional friendly service. Very nice cosy little hotel with a great atmosphere. We didn’t get a chance to have dinner and even though the kitchen was closed, Michael and the staff were gracious enough to get us a couple of bowls of soup. Much appreciated on a cold winter’s night. All in, a very enjoyable stay.

We had left the room after breakfast around 9.30 and returned around 1.15pm.We had left the tag on the door to have the room cleaned. This was not done. We had to use the room to dress up as we were attending a wedding. The cleaner was advised by the supervisor to clean the room while we dressed up. She was at the door with the cleaner. We were told that if this was done now then the room will not be cleaned. We had no choice. The cleaner spent 5mins to make the bed and replace the towels .The bin was not emptied nor the tea cups replaced. They had been used that morning to drink tea. Not a good experience.

The accommodation was excellent, especially when one is faced with walking difficulties. The staff were efficient, friendly and extremely helpful. The Restaurant was of a hight quality, with a lovely variety of dishes on offer, wine list was excellent and easily paired with dishes on offer. Most enjoyable!
