Fantastic place to stay. So many great facilities, from the swimming pool and water park to the playground & scooter track. There are go-carts, kayaks etc to rent out, and free board games & DVDs to borrow if the weather isn’t good. Great little beach area at the side of the river too. The cafe on site is good, and there’s a big indoor camp kitchen as well as plenty of bbqs. If that’s not enough, there are plenty of organised activities during the school holidays, and you’re only a 10min drive to Nabiac or Hallidays Point. All the staff are lovely. We will definitely be going back!

Beautiful park! Our room was very modern, spacious and clean. This is the second time we have stayed here and both times in different cabins around the water play area. We have loved both! Water park and pool are amazing for the family. Staff are lovely!

We just had a lovely stay for two nights! Kids loved the splash park and pool. Scenery and lake were lovely. Cabins very smart, climate controlled and clean. Had towels, toiletries, kitchen utensils etc. beds comfy enough. Overall a great stay that kids loved and was safe. My eldest is high needs and he loved it.

Great for kids with amazing waterpark and free kayak and buggie hire. Great for the boat with multiple ramps on site. Cabins were nice and clean and well portioned. Parking is never a problem. Plenty of space to even wash my boat after use. Really happy with this place.

We were so pleased with the cabin (2 bedroom standard) it had everything you could need. The space was so clean, comfortable and in a great location to all the parks amenities. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. It really does have something from everyone, the playground and bike track were absolutely phenomenal and a hit for my kids (2 and 3 years) Our doggo absolutely loved the off leash area, it was huge and a great space for her to let off some energy. Our only negative was we went in winter so couldn’t enjoy the beautiful pool or splash park and we definitely didn’t stay long enough. We honestly can’t wait to come back- thank you so much for having us.

My husband and I stayed at Discovery Parks en route to the Gold Coast with our small dog which is why we chose this accommodation as it was inexpensive and dog friendly. We arrived when it was dark to get our key from the safe outside reception (we were given clear instructions by sms about the key) but there was no sign indicating where reception was so finally we had to ring the after hours number to be guided in very dark conditions. We then found our cabin with the help of a map and it was lovely that they had put the heating on for our late arrival. After settling in we tried to turn the TV on but the remote didn’t work so inspecting the TV we managed to get it on but only to discover how filthy and dusty it was behind. The TV is small and hangs out from the wall so it would not be hard to keep clean. Also the air con/heating and TV remotes could both do with a good wipe over. After spilling a little water from the dog’s bowl I went to wipe it up off the floor and discovered it needed a good scrub not just a wipe over which I expect happens after every stay. Also the blind over door needed fixing. The bed was fine and we did get a good nights sleep. A nice place to take the dog for a walk.

Friendly staff & a good location. Cabin was clean but needs a bit of love.It had caked on spills between stove & bench, mould along shower door seal, fungus growing on kitchen window & uplifting floor coverings. The front wooden steps need repair before they break under strain.

Location was just so serene. If you want a relaxing holiday this was the place to be. Only one thing we were in a 2 story place which was quiet until the top unit was rented out and the noise was pretty bad from the kids running wild upstairs. Would prefer a single cabin next time . Views were perfect pool was great . .

Lovely location. Amazing that it is dog friendly, our dog had the best time. Unit was a bit dated but exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We were unaware however that our cabin was not stand alone and the neighbours we had were extremely noisy. You are able to hear the neighbours talking clearly within the unit. If that was not the case it would have been beautiful and tranquil here. We would come again but book a different cabin hopefully!

Stayed in the Standard 2 bedroom cabin which suited the 3 of us just fine. Nice newly built cabins with A/C, creature comforts and walking distance to the water park, pool and lake. Only complaints if I had to find them, was the screen door didnt have a locator for the door latch and bathroom door latch didn't line up so it couldn't be locked. Highly recommended and will be back 👍

Loved this park, we visited in non school holidays and it was quiet amd relaxed, we can see that kids would love it and imagine the park gets packed during school holidays. Id stay here for sure again.the apartment was spacious and comfortable with gorgeous views of the river. The only improvemrnt point internet connection was poor and frequently unavailable.

The reception to this park was a little confusing to find. However the overall stay was excellent. Cabin was fantastic and had plenty of room. The bathroom was designed for wheelchair access. The park is right near a river which can be accessed for fishing , kayaking etc. The park has its own cafe which was very convenient.

We only had a brief stay of about 12 hours transiting between Melbourne and the Gold Coast arriving well after dark. Our cabin was clean, warm and comfortable. The next morning we could see the caravan park was set in a scenic location with good facilities for families enjoying a longer stay. It is also worth mentioning that the staff we came in contact with were both helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at Discovery Parks Forster with our one year old. The pool was nice and big and the splash park was a very nice feature that hopefully our child can enjoy when he is a bit older if we return. The location was beautiful, on the river and our cabin had a view of the river without being advertised or charged for this. The park is about a ten minute drive out of Forster which didn’t bother us and we would stay again if staying in the area in the future.

We liked the fact that you could go down to the river and have a fish. It was also convenient that there was an excellent cafe on site as well. The cabin was generously sized, modern and fresh. Pretty much had everything you needed for cooking, a BBQ nearby, and a big enough fridge to fit all the essentials in.

Amazing cabins and fantastic facilities. A long weekend with a 2year old and 4 year old. The water park was a huge highlight and the best I’ve seen at a holiday park. The pool was great so all swimmers and such a great having the pool lights on at night. The sunset by the lake is stunning, great family photos were captured here. A short drive to Forster and even shorter drive to the amazing Artisan Farmer! We had the best time!
