Quaint Tropical Cottage w/Pool, Lanai & AC, Walk to Beach: Lanikai Ohana Hale

Description of property is accurate. We enjoyed the private pool and the landscaping of the property. However, we discovered upon check-in that the two larger beach chairs (Tommy Bahamas) were unusable. We went out and bought 2 replacement chairs from Target. Additionally, the mattress on the queen bed was unbearable for both of us, past its replacement date in our opinion. Due to this, we left 3 days early, staying only 3 out of 6 nights. We told the property manager about the mattress and beach chairs after we left. It would have appreciated if we had been compensated somehow for our unpleasant experience, even if it was just for the chairs. But, nothing was offered to us.

Great location. Walk to the beach was 5-10 minutes and we were able to watch the sunrise every morning we were there! The cottage was super cute. Multiple places to eat and shop within a 10 minute drive. Only small things I would recommend is providing an iron. Granted we were at the beach most of the time but went out to eat for dinner and I didn’t have an iron for my cloths. Also most places I’ve stayed at provide a couple of trash bags. Both are minor things and overall we had a fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lanikai cottage. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the beach — and we really appreciated all the beach amenities provided, including chairs and towels. The nearby Pillbox hike was a huge bonus, offering amazing views that made our mornings unforgettable. The cottage felt private and peaceful, and we especially loved relaxing in the hammock.

We have been traveling a lot and have stayed various type of holiday home. This is one the best ever stayed. The place is super clean, well equipped kitchen, BBQ grill on the lanai, washer and dryer, everything perfectly worked. 3 mins walk to most beautiful beach in the US! I would love to come back again.

Beautiful, private and upscale area. Updated and clean cottage. Perfect for quiet stay in gorgeous Lanikai. Enjoyed our walks and catching the sunrise several mornings. Driving to town was quick and easy mid week in May. There are mosquitos but using an all natural spray helped considerably. Pool was nice to have available; water was very warm. Outdoor shower very helpful after beach day. Easy communications and check in/out.
