Perfect location in old town. Air conditition didn’t work properly. The room temperature was too high. The aircondition blew right towrds the bed so i had to get up several times a night to switch it off and on because the remote was attached to the wall

The hotel was very old fashioned. Room was drab and gloomy. Air conditioning was very noisy. The bedside wall light was loose. The tap in the wash hand basin was stiff to move. There was a terrible smell of urine in the bathroom. There was no safety deposit box in the room meaning that we had to put valuables, cash, bank cards, passports etc in a bag and hand over at reception. This was extremely inconvenient as every time we needed money etc we had to go to reception with a form to be signed each time we removed something. On our last day in the hotel when we went to reception to ask for our things, we were told to come back later as the receptionist’s colleague was not there. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful but we would not return due to all of the above.
