The Hotel looks really nice but !!!! It’s in an ancient part of town with very narrow streets and we were in our Car. There is no parking at the hotel and the whole of the Historic area is covered with cameras which are monitored by the police ! Don’t take a car to this Hotel.

Dificil el tema estacionamiento. Es zona historica y el parking esta a 250mts, y encima hoy en el checkout no funciono el elevador del parking que es externo al hotel (el hotel NO es responsable por el) pero fue muy incomodo con las maletas en la escalera. Por otra parte el hotel tiene demasiados escalones sin elevador, lo cual en mi caso es muy inconveniente. El resto muy bien

Excellent hotel, the staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean tidy and good size. The hotel was beautiful lovely location, beautiful restaurant with excellent food. Please note you can’t park at the hotel but this wasn’t a problem. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Room was wore out and with scratches all over the floor. Frame of bathroom door was out. Poor property maintenance. Mini bar not operational - refrigerator not working. El hotel esta considerado como uno de los hoteles de referencia en la ciudad. Nada que decir de la atencion del staff (super amable y atento)y del espacio en general, un palacio de gran historia. Mi critica viene por parte del ruido. Debido a la singularidad del edificio en algunos cuartos se accede directamente desde el claustro/patio interior. Este espacio se usa como espacio social en distintos niveles por lo que el nivel de ruido es considerable, algo que no nos permitio dormir hasta pasadas las 12.30AM debido al constante movimiento y ruido de otros invitados que estaban en el piso principal y sentados en los sofas. Del mismo modo hay una serie de sillones distribuidos entorno a este patio siendo que algunos estan en la puerta de los cuartos. En nuestro caso una pareja se sento para hablar cuando ya eran las 11 de la noche, despertandonos y obligandonos a salir para decirles que evitasen hablar en la puerta de nuestro cuarto. Estas situaciones no deberian suceder en un hotel de esta categoria. Mi consejo, pedir un cuarto lo mas lejano posible del claustro (miembros de mi familia que se quedaron esa misma noche no tuvieron problemas en reposar ya que su cuarto no estaba en la inmediatez del claustro).

This property is right outside the old city. It is well maintained and we had a beautiful view of the plaza. Dining all around plaza mayor was within minutes walking distance. Front desk staff were very welcoming and made a great effort to speak English for us (this area of Spain has very little English speaking residents). We wanted to add another night stay and they were able to accommodate us staying in the same room after adjusting their plan. Very appreciative of the staff.

Lovely hotel, with everything we needed. And actually fairly easy to find with GPS guiding us. We pulled right up in front of the hotel, unloaded our bags and checked in. The front desk gave us directions to off-site parking, and it was only a 5 minute walk back to the hotel. It was a very easy process. Dinner at the restaurant was amazing. We only regret that we were not able to stay longer than one night. The hotel's location in Caceres was great, with all kinds of streets to meander and explore.

The room was generously sized, did have a skylight rather than a window; which was fine. Bathroom was perfect with a great walk-in shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Property is very close to the main square; and the restaurants in the Plaza San Juan (in front of the hotel) were highly recommended. Buffet breakfast is EXTENSIVE, but at 24 Eur per person we could not get value from it. Coffee (from a machine) was not good at all, unfortunately.

Only disappointment was the breakast. Not up to the hotel's usual standard. The sliced fruit was not fresh, had gone black. The cheeses and meat were dry/old. It seemed that these were few days old, covered in fridge and brought out. Pastries were shop bought. Have stayed here many times, usually breakfast is fantastic. Sadly, not on this occasion.
