The property was nice. I would definitely stay again. The staff were great. I enjoyed my stay. The pool was closed and that was not disclosed. The room was lovely a suite with lots of space. The cookies were warm and good!

This Hilton property is spotless. Staff is very helpful. The price was good comparatively speaking. I mistakenly booked a room with two queen beds. There’s a lot of wasted wall space opposite the beds. The one upholstered chair was comical in size. Should be in a child’s playroom. Water pressure was very low. The location is ok but almost impossible to turn left out of. If we were going to another event near by this location this wouldn’t be my first choice.

The beds felt clean. However, the bathroom floor wasn't clean because I had to wipe something up and the towel became black with dirt. The refrigerator wasn't on & the coffee area didn’t look wiped down. The hotel needs updating.

We were assigned a room that had been taken out of service the prior night due to non functioning air conditioning. Rather than reassign us to another room they provided a box fan at 10:30 pm after sending maintenance to service it. The Maintenance Supervisor informed us that the room had been taken out of service the prior night and there was no way to fix the issue. In fact he wrote it on a huge whiteboard so no one would be given that room!!! It was a very uncomfortable stay the first night. Why they assigned us an "out of order" room I have no idea! When we asked to be given a discount for that night's stay they said no because we booked through a third party (Hotels.com). Very annoying. 🙄🙄🙄

Majority of the staff were amazing, especially Charlie! I greatly appreciated the shuttle service, water bottles, and delicious cookies! The location and cleanliness of the facility was great. We were here for a conference at the coliseum which was an easy 10 minute walk. Walmart, restaurants, and shopping are very close. The things I didn’t like was walking into the room to see a bug crawling on the floor (they offered to spray the room), the road noise is ridiculous (I had to purchase earplugs to be able to get any sleep), the Keurig worked for one day (I just went down to the lobby to get coffee), and the food was over priced. I wouldn’t stay here again because of the noise (my sleep is very important) but, if that wasn’t an issue, I’d recommend it—especially for a short stay.

Room was dark to try and get work done. WiFi wouldn’t stay connected Coffee pot didn’t work. But coffee downstairs was accessible. Over all nice stay, and the shuttle was a nice thing to offer. Would stay again

Our room was terrible. The air conditioner didn't work well. The coffee maker was broken. It was usable but barely. The shower floor was very slippery and I almost fell. The toilet ran constantly unless you jiggled the handle. For the amount of money that we paid, it was a very unsatisfactory stay.

Front desk staff were very courteous and helpful! However, the noise level from people talking in the hallway was ridiculous. It sounded like they were in our room. Definitely a problem, housekeeping was talking really loud in the hallway our first morning which added to this. Unfortunately I will not stay at this hotel again simply due to the hallway noise.

Checked in and went to the room where the keys didn’t work. I went back down to the front desk where the receptionist was not at all apologetic, and suggested I had my cell phone too close. Got new keys, entered the room, only to have the mounted full length mirror fall on me when I tried to open the bathroom door. Called down to the front desk where the receptionist sent maintenance. He cleared a path so we could change to a smaller room. Didn’t even offer to hold the door open while we wheeled our bags over broken glass. We asked for some compensation and were told there was nothing they could do.

I was at double tree and my bed was very hard and desk clerk said to me after me asking do they have another room with a different bed said no so the night I stayed in a lot of pain because I have a medical condition chronic arthritis on my spine. So the next morning I called again to ask them if they had another bed I can be changed to an again they said no. I couldn’t take the pain anymore so I had an emergency and left urgently before check out time. They wouldn’t refund my money back nor give me any credit for my one night stay as a member of Hilton and an owner through Bluegreen that brought out Hilton. I’m furious because nobody can show me in black and white their policy that says I forfeit my money for medical reasons if I leave the hotel. Expedia Double Tree and Hilton has failed me. I will make sure in ratings that everyone is warned because this bad business for anyone being so far from home. Nobody has tried accommodate me yet and on top of keeping my money they rerented my room out making double for the room. This was the worst experience of my life

Enjoyed our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable! There were a couple maintenance issues. The toilet seat cover hinge was broken and it fell off making a lot of noise. We were careful after the first time so it didn’t happen again. Also the a couple electric plugs were loose and I couldn’t rely on them to operate my oxygen generator all night. I unplugged a lamp and used that connector. I reported both to the front desk. The hotel was close to shopping and a 15 min drive to Charleston historical area. We would stay here again.

This would’ve been the perfect stay. However, we were charged extra for breakfast of $49 for 2. Prior to booking we made sure to add breakfast to our stay so that it’s already included. Came down for breakfast ,they said it would be clear with the front desk. Before check out, front desk said we were good to go. Called about a week after since the charge never cleared. Almost 2 weeks now and still haven’t been able to made contact with someone that can fix it. Other than that, this would’ve been a 4-5 star rating .

Nicely designed. Breakfast was great. Staff is personable and pleasant. Close to everything. Didn't realize the convention center was right across the street. We could've walked to our comedy show. We booked the last king room. Happened to be handicap accessible. The hotel could touch up little nics on carpet and walls from wheel chairs to keep the room looking nice. The sleeper sofa cushions were on their last leg. House keeping could've taken a minute to actually cover the boxspring with the cover that exposed the boxspring. Over all one of my more pleasant hotel stays. Enjoyed having to closets and walk in shower. Look forward experiencing a regular king room. Good job! This will be my go to when I'm in Charleston.

This hotel is very close to the airport and offers a free shuttle. It appeared clean but there were maintenance issues - some baseboard sections were laying on the hall floor and our refrigerator was not working at all. Also, we thought that free breakfast was offered but it was sold a la carte (maybe I misread the hotel description).
