The staff was great, bed very comfortable, my non-smoking room smelled like a wet ashtray, ice machine broken

Pulled in the parking lot and place was dirty track sitting around. Saw one of the rooms door open. Not very nice. Did not even check in. Called the front desk to cancel. Could of cared less. Just said ok. Stay at your one risk.

Next to a decent Mexican Retaurant. TV was mostly not working. No Pool, No ice, Door had been kicked down by the police, but the chain lock was never fixed - just lying on the AC. Worth perhaps $75 a night.

Poor air condition and no working vending machines. Rooms need attention popcorn ceiling need repair.

The lobby and halls were dirty and in a state of disrepair. General maintenance is long overdue. The pool area is used as a boneyard for old A/C units. Ceiling tiles were missing. Two rooms were reserved with ceiling spackle /paint peeling. I would not recommend this property.

The hotel was absolutely horrible! Arrived to junk washing machine and dryer right by the entry door. We go into the lobby to find air conditioners stacked against a wall and the desk attendant was busy playing on his iPad. After waiting awhile he puts it down and acts as if we were just disturbing him. We get to the room and there is plaster falling from the ceiling and no door on the closet. After using the toilet we find it won’t even flush. This was the highlight, yes it got worse. There was actually another guest staying at the hotel who tripped trying to get around all the disregard appliances outside. After running in and telling the desk attendant, I find he doesn’t have a first aid kit. We end up having to call the ambulance to attend to the injured guest because the employee refused to call for help. Thank goodness the kind lady who took a spill ended up ok with just many shallow wounds on her forearm and a bump on her head. I was sad thinking about what if this was my grandmother who got hurt because the hotel blocked the handicap ramp. Please just be aware of this hotel.

We had reservations for three nights and we attended the annual Dogwood Azalea festival. Breakfast consisted of coffee, orange or apple juice, Cinnabon bites, apple or oranges, cereal, milk, oatmeal. Our room had a leak in the ceiling and a foot square of paint bead pealing off. The room and hall had a stale order. The property is run down- the parking lot had an abandoned mobile home and there was debris throughout the parking lot. The unused pool area behind the fence was used for storage of discarded air conditioners and tables. Upon returning from an outing in the afternoon we called to get our bed made up and was told it could be done the next day. We told him we were leaving the next day. The bed was finally made later. The vending machine was empty for the first two days and filled on the third.

The room appeared clean but there was a terrible pet like odor. Animals must be allowed and the rug lets you know it! It appears the owner is making upgrades to the property with odd piles of old washers, dryers and air conditioners around the property.

Try somewhere else. We survived, but it was not a pleasant stay. Needed a good cleaning. Needed a fair amount of maintenence. The accessible room doors were barely wide enough for my husband's chair. They are understaffed, if you need help there may be quite a wait. Don't count on breakfast. They list a laundry at the hotel, but send you across the freeway to the truck stop. Amenities in the room are hit and miss. Best part was the corn field right outside our windows that actually opened.

The room smelled like STRONG cat urine ,& one side of the bed had about a 2 ft diameter deep worn circle that was very uncomfortable. The shower head had a lot of hunk & residue nuikt up.

Location is great, only the inconvenient was, we found ants in the room, when I requested to change the room they give me a dirty room and I go back to front desk to requested for another room, which need more maintenance.

Location to where I needed to be was ok. Filthy run down, roaches, mucus on wall, dirty towels and coffee maker was dusty no coffee or filters, extra charge for crated pet, no towels or wash cloths in room, no sink stopper, tv wouldn’t function. Do not stay at this location

People we pleasant, room was old and stunk horribly. I had just got off a 500 mile motorcycle ride, and could not find an alternative close by or i would not have stayed. Pretty sure room had fleas from previous pet owners.

There was literally hair in the bedroom when I came in. Absolutely flipping disgusting

Sheets and pillow case were dengue. Ants in the bed. Outside door bolt didn't work.

I found a brown recluse spider in the shower and upon inspecting the rest of the room a possible black widow behind the sofa and cobwebs all over. I told the front desk I can’t stay there and if they can’t cancel the room I’ll take it up with Expedia. Clerk Tonia said there’s nothing she could do on her end. When trying to go through Expedia customer service they called the hotel and the clerk Tonia told them she offered me a room but I refused. So I was not refunded. I drove back to confront her and she said had been there since 4:45 which I know is I correct because I snapped a picture in the lobby when I arrived of a drop cord hanging out of the ceiling and plugged into an outlet. She tried to argue they were on central time and I was wrong about how long I was there. She pointed at the clock behind her which was right and she realized her system clock was wrong and ran back to the back room. It’s a filthy place poorly managed and best avoided and shouldn’t be listed. I’ll be taking my complaint to Super 8 customer service.

This is a decayed roadside motel. The room was dirty. I found doritos and other trash under the furniture. The toilet would not flush properly. The room smelled musty. The tv didn't work. There basically is no breakfast even though they advertise it. Literally all they had were some packaged cereal bars, apples, and lukewarm coffee. The clerk at check-in was nice but the gothy girl at checkout seemed tired and bored.

I saw a mouse in my room. Spider in the shower. Ceiling was peeling. Teas can wasnt emptied.

I stayed in room 110. I woke up itching from bite of bed bug. Bed bug was on my pillow.

Everything worked like it should and bed was comfortable

Room was clean, except stains on the blanket. The AC/Heater was loud, and Saturday morning at 7AM there was no hot water. Upon arrival opened the lobby door and the smell of pot was very strong. Was also locked out of the room on night 2 and had to have them fix the key.

We stay here a lot. It is conveniently located. We like the nice big rooms.

Deadbolt didn’t work. Curtains falling down. Mold on the bathroom walls

Bathroom was clean air conditioning worked very well however the room was in overall poor condition; ceiling was stained and peeling paint on the ceiling, the bed sheets had cigarette Burns in them right in plain view on top, and there was no breakfast available except for watered down coffee. Probably won't stay at this property again and we have stayed at this location several times in the past.

I just want to tell you I stay here a lot. I had never read the reviews before and it didn’t sound like a place I wanted to stay. But the rooms are big. On one side, you can come in from the outside or inside. It is close to halfway for me. Easy to get to.

This motel has a humble appearance, but is sufficient. I like the rooms with an inside and outside entrance. All of the rooms are very large. All the staff were helpful. I usually leave too early for the breakfast, but it is enough. I enjoy some hot oatmeal and they have juice, milk, and coffee.

Overall a clean good place to spend the night, a little on the older side but maintained and had friendly staff.

They woke us up in the middle of the night, knocking on the door wanting my card info because they didn't put it in correctly the first time. I told them we were sleeping and I would bring it to them first thing in the morning. 30 minutes later, another guy came knocking on the door wanting the card. At this point I got a little angry and explained we are sleeping and will bring it in the morning. First thing that next morning, I took my card info to them. Then we left to go visit family. We got back and our key cards wouldn't work. We went to the front desk and they claimed my card was declining. I showed them proof that the payment already went through my account. After I put up a fight, they finally gave me new room keys. Also, the toilet was shut off to where we couldn't flush, the ceiling was falling down above the shower, there was mold in the bathroom & there wasn't a trash can in the hotel room. I DO NOT recommend this place to ANYONE! This was by far the worst hotel experience of our lives and we DON'T EVER COMPLAIN!! I never leave bad reviews so that just shows how awful it truly was! We are going back to that same area in 2 weeks but we will NOT ever stay there again! 0/10! Oh, I forgot to mention, it was supposed to be $154 for our two night stay. We ended up getting charged $344 for our stay. DON'T STAY HERE PEOPLE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

The rooms were disgusting and smelled like a cigarette. Stains on the bed spread too. It cost me almost $200 for 2 rooms and he took my card and told me it was for incidentals and drafted $75 twice for 2 rooms .I stay in motels 4 days a week because of my job and they don’t draft any money any where else. Not happy at all .

The 1st room I was offered smelled of pure raw urine - like it was embedded in the carpet bad. I was given a 2nd room & rather than just change the rm. number, I was billed twice and took a week to resolve the matter and the clerk told me i couldn't get a copy of my receipt. Also, despite a do not disturb sign - every Morning there was Knocking on door for housekeeping. This place used to be decent. Its one of the worst now and they don't seem to care.

This property is excellent for the price. My vehicle broke down and this hotel was in walking distance of everything we needed. Great value when you need to find a place fast. My room was clean and staff was friendly.

Very disappointed. Last Super 8 was wonderful in Palestine Texas and what a difference. Mattress had a sucken spot, sheet had spots on it, walls needed painting, entry in motel chair to sit were terrible shape,. Drain in tub slow, didn't have milk for oatmeal and only orange juice and coffee. Never seen so little for breakfast. Price wasn't that much different than other Super 8 in Palestine Texas which is a wonderful place to stay.

We checked in on a rainy Thursday afternoon. the entry and hallway leading to our room in the main facility was dirty, with trash, leaves, and general dirt. When we checked out on Saturday, the area was still uncleaned. we stayed two nights. our room was not cleaned during our stay. The breakfast was not as advertised. We could have instant oatmeal or a mini honeybun. we could also have some orange juice. The coffee was good.
