First of all i want to say the pool staff was very lovely. Easy to chat to and have really good recommendations, and service was perfect. With that said the rest of the stay was decent, but there is a few things that annoyed me to the point where i wouldnt come back. Our bathroom floor, almost every tile had cracks in them you couldnt walk barefoot without cutting your feet. And they were loose. The shower drain was too slow and would flood the bathroom and the carpet in the sleeping area. La Fief restaurant was a little underwhelming for the price. However the DAN garden restaurant we tried twice and it was pretty good, still on the pricey side. Now for the most petty thing i have ever witnessed from any Hotel we have ever visited. We paid for covered parking 15€ per night, its also the only place there was charging station for electric cars. I have never been at a Hotel where charging wasnt free if you paid for parking. But this Hotel Castello Dal Pozzo charge you a flat fee of 30€ every time you plug in your car. Doesnt matter how much you charge. Our car is a Plug-in Hybrid and they charged us 60€ for like 12 kilowatts. Its the most expensive charging in the world im pretty sure. I had to argue with the lady at the desk for a good bit and i ended up getting it reduced to 10€. I think charging for this at a Hotel in this price range is petty and pathetic. Never seen anything like it. Its free everywhere else we have been. Just beware cost is hidden no signage.

Exceptional domain with exceptional inhospitality We arrived just after the expected check in time. The room wasn't ready, which can happen, but the receptionist's poor English meant we got almost no information, nothing about breakfast times, nothing about the pool. No apology, no drink offered for the delay. She promised to call once the room was ready and never did. We only saw her WhatsApp message once we came back later that evening. A kind staff member helped us with the luggage and parking. The pool was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. At reception we finally learned it was in the next building, and already closed for the day after our check in.. We explored the castle and gardens instead, genuinely beautiful, real credit to the gardener. At a nearby bar/restaurant, despite several free tables on the terrace, the waiter refused to sit or serve us even a simple glass of wine, telling us to come back in 2 hours because we didn't book. Back at the main lobby bar, Enrico the bartender was a real bright spot, great cocktails, warm welcome, and a genuinely good evening thanks to other guests we met. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, gorgeous restaurant, great food, lots of choice. Service was mixed though: we asked a waitress for a glass of prosecco from a bottle that looked closed, and she replied it was "self-service." When we explained why we'd asked, she came back with the glass but told as that it was a stopper and not a closed bottle...

Dans un cadre fantastique, la famille Dal Pozzo met en valeur leur patrimoine permettant aux rèsidants de dècouvrir la richesse culturelle et artistique accumulée au cours des siècles. Le personnel est trés serviable et toujours disponible. La piscine est parfaite avec une infrastructure permettant à chacun d'y passer des moments forts agrèables. Les restaurants : le Fief et le Dan vous offre la possibilité de dècouvrir la qualité de la cuisine italienne. Nous y passons, chaque année, un sèjour enchanteur.

Achamos que o hotel seria literalmente no castelo, mas não, ele fica em outra propriedade próxima ao castelo. Tem 2 restaurantes que, se não tiver evento, podem estar os 2 abertos para jantar. Café da manhã ótimo. O quarto era mais antigo, mas com ótimo tamanho e bom o banheiro e chuveiro.
