Nice outdoor pool and hot tub. But the people made our stay special. Friendly, helpful staff make the difference here. They found a way to give me enough charge in my car to get me to a charging station that wasn't broken down like the one I counted on across the street, gave us extra towels for the grandkids who dropped in to use the pool, etc. They just went above and beyond, so we'll be staying here every time that we come to visit the grandkids!

Spotless clean rooms, great value. Decent breakfast but gets slow when there is a crowd. Dog friendly rooms and grassy areas around for walking. Big disappointment is no pool which was in the description, it’s out of order .

Very clean everywhere, they even had the outdoor pool heated to 95 so we could still swim in the cold. the children were really loving the pool. The breakfast was especially delicious with real flavorful robust coffee, best I've had in years at a hotel.

The attendant at the front desk was very helpful. 5 stars for him. The first room we got smelled like cigarette smoke and he moved us to another room that was better. He even said we could cancel if we wanted to stay somewhere else. The room was very basic but adequate. Air conditioner and shower were great. The floors were filthy, though.

Expedia reviews must be filtered, since this property is, at most, a two star property. Tired. Filthy. Room needs to be cleaned better. Hair and bugs behind the bathroom door. Upholstered chair looks like someone died in it. They can, and should, do better.

The carpet was filthy, there was a spider web attached to by bed that had a huge black montrose spider. There was black hair in the tub. So i would say it was a great stay.

Great location just off the highway for a night’s rest during a road trip. We didn’t hear any road noise at all. The room was more spacious than expected and had everything we needed. Staff at front desk was friendly. Only downsides were stains in the carpeting and plug in bathroom not working.

This is an older motel but recently renovated and in seemingly excellent shape. The room was clean, the water was hot. The tv worked well. The fridge was silent and cold. In short everything worked well. We will stay here again.

First, the staff were all friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfast was very good, even in the last hour of service. The room had several options for charging devices, and I appreciated the grab bars in the bathroom of this ADA room. Unfortunately it was very noisy from both traffic on the nearby interstate, and the guests above us. The bed quality was not great, and any time one person moved or rolled, the other one got bounced around. As a result, it was not restful.

Spacious room. Quiet heater. Very nice breakfast. Nice staff BUT why would we have a heavy foot guest in the room above us. It is a big hotel and not at all full or close to it! Why put guests so close together???

Nice outdoor pool and hot tub. But the people made our stay special. Friendly, helpful staff make the difference here. They found a way to give me enough charge in my car to get me to a charging station that wasn't broken down like the one I counted on across the street, gave us extra towels for the grandkids who dropped in to use the pool, etc. They just went above and beyond, so we'll be staying here every time that we come to visit the grandkids!

It was a 2 night stay two different times in our trip to Seattle with our son’s family. We took our dog on the journey, and the first night I booked was fine, the room was ok, the service staff was nice. The second night when we drove back to our trip , was a different person at the desk, and when I tried to check in, he asked if have a dog! When I looked day hotel, I specifically looked for dog friendly hotels, I find this is, but he told me I have to pay extra 50 dollars and he will “upgrade “ our room for the dog with . I was shocked, and I said, when I booked the two nights, the website didn’t ask me anything about that, and it was perfectly worked the previous stay. He said they have only two rooms dog friendly, and have to pay! I asked my money back, and of course he said no. The whole thing was so outrageous, and everything he said was transparent lies, I couldn’t argue any more, and left the hotel, my money and that ridiculous man behind. An hour later we booked to the other hotel and tried to forget the whole thing, but be careful with them.

The rooms we very nice and clean - especially for the price. The service was amazing and helpful. We needed a cot for our son and they got it for us and even waived the fee. The lady at the desk was very nice and made us fell so much more comfortable when we arrived. The only thing that I noticed was the overflowing garbage and piles of cigarette butts around the outside of the motel. It's a bit of a turn-off. We would stay here again!

Area is a little run down but with lots of restaurant options nearby. The main drawback for us was stepping into the room and being overwhelmed with a smoking — covered up by febreeze — odor which permeated the room. Also hot water was hard to come by in the shower. Ran out in the morning with second person to shower. Not good. :(

Have stayed here twice. Convenient location off I-5 with lots of fast food and sit down restaurants within one block walk. Pool was not in operation and they were in the process of installing an elevator to the second floor. Room was very clean and well maintained. Good sized TV. Room was adequately sound proofed and beds comfortable. Small Refrigerator and in room coffee. Breakfast was full with eggs, sausage, biscuits, and pancakes, etc. Staff was friendly and present. The small town of Cottage Grove is pretty.
