Only 1 elevator worked and there was no sign of being fixed or an out of order sign. The pool was FRIGID to the point where it was unbearable to be in even on super hot days. I know heating is expensive but I’m sure something can be done about the temp overall. Overall tho a pretty good stay, clean and spacious.

It was over all a good experience. The only issue was that there were 2 elevators and only one of them worked. Then the one that did work broke down. I had to cary bags up 7 flights of stairs. A heated indoor swinnimg pool would have been nice. The water was cold as ice. I did not like having to pay for parking at the very hotel in which I was staying.

My only complain is that they charge $ 10.00 for parking per night.That is not an area for that, the premises has more than enough parking for everyone, that is unnecessary to charge for it. Must probably I won't stay again if the fee continue, there is many different option in the area.

The room we were given was full of ants. We arrived at 12am for our reservation. After we got to our room a noticed the ants the front desk said all he had was Lysol that we could spray on them. We ended up checking right out due to the invasion of ants.

When we came into the hotel , the front desk staff chose to finish her side conversations while eating her food before coming to check us in . During the check in , she asked for a form of payment and charged the card before ever giving the total . When I asked what the total was , she blurted out the total and all charges associated with it . When we finally got up to the room , the room was not clean - the linen looked like it had been slept it and remade back up and the room had a huge leak and wet spot on the floor . They did change our room our , but the next time we went to the desk there was a guy who also was having side conversations and we asked for a blanket for our kids to sleep with on the pull out sofa and he told us to come back after 30 mins and this was at almost 11 pm … needless to say we gave our kids our blankets because we were all very tired . Moving on to the next day the house keeper saw us come back to our room and instead of trying to service our room , she asked us to place the towels outside the door . When we asked for the room to be services she gave us attitude and then said ok . She did clean the room , but barely . The next morning was our check out morning and when I woke up I woke up to a HUGE cockroach crawling on the wall above the tv .. I have videos of literally everything !!! I couldn’t believe it , but we will NEVER stay here again .

I expected a better experience for the suite chosen. The room itself was spacious but needs a full hazmat team to clean whatever happened. There are blood stains on carpet, on wallpaper near the closet, the tub floor and near toilet paper holder. My stay was short but the AC or lack of was the cherry on top. I should of booked Marriot

AVOID AT ALL COSTS – DISGUSTING ROOMS & RUDE STAFF! We walked into an empty lobby where two employees ignored us until we asked if we could check in. One didn’t even look up, and the other checked my ID, then LEFT THE BUILDING saying he’d be right back. The woman at the desk acted annoyed that we were even there. When he finally returned, he couldn’t log in for several minutes. Our room smelled like stale smoke, had unfinished wall patches, and curtains with burn holes. The shower had moldy black spots, no water pressure, and a nasty rubber mat rolled up in the corner. The bed had visible stains on the mattress. We immediately went back down to complain. The front desk clerk smirked and said, “You’re not getting a refund,” refusing to let us speak to a manager or say when one would be available. Hyatt corporate was no help—only offered another room. We checked it and found peeling, moisture-filled wallpaper, pink mold in the shower, and stains on the walls. We left without a refund and paid for another hotel because it was unsafe—especially with our baby. Absolutely horrible experience. Hyatt should be ashamed to have their name on this property. Look at the photos and stay far, far away!

The room (#604) is well set-up. The problem was the HVAC. There are two thermostats, one that I could not get off 75 degrees and the wall unit that is right next to the bed and is very loud when it turns on. Awful. Also, the telephone did not work, so I had to walk to the elevator telephone that - wait for it - did not work. So, I had to go downstairs to reserve a spot on the airport shuttle. Front desk reps were friendly and helpful. No problems there. Shuttle was on time and the driver was a real worker with the luggage. All good. The bed, couch, and desk were all very good. Shower needed work, but was clean and water was hot. I just cannot get past the heat in the room and the noise from the unit inserted next to the bed.

The shower was not hot enough to my liking but they did let me know upon check in that there was scheduled maintenance to it going on. There were also signs of upcoming improvements. I appreciated the forewarning. The room was spacious. The staff was kind. Breakfast was good. The location was in an area with many food and store options close by. Overall good experience. I would book it again.

The rooms were in good condition despite the ladybugs in my first room #517, there was a sign in the elevator regarding the ladybugs but nothing was said during check-in also when it was time to shower there was an issue in room 313 were the faucet and shower ran at the same time and there was no hot water, water was lukewarm but not hot enough to shower in. Other than that the breakfast was nice I loved the lobby area was nice and clean and hotel smelled really good. Gym and pool area was also clean and staff is always friendly but for the price of the rooms there should be hot water in all rooms.

Location of the property is superb. The rooms are spacious and phenomenal. What is lacking is no microwave in the room and the most horrific shower pressure I’ve ever had. The air conditioner worked but certainly didn’t adjust to the temperature we set it to which was a problem. All in all I’ll give it a 3.5/5.

I loved our room. But we had no hot water the whole 4 night stay. On the third day they moved us to another room so we would have hot water and still had none. We also requested twice for housekeeping to come in and change the towels, sheets, and trash. They never came one time. For the price I paid I was very disappointed.

I reserved this room for a date night surprise with my wife. We drove almost 2 hrs to attend a concert at the Altrium theatre downtown Richmond. I called & notified the hotel that we would be checking in late as the event start time was 8pm.The customer service rep assured me that my reservation was fine & notated of a late arrival. Upon arriving at the hotel around 12am, I was told that the hotel was filled to capacity and my reservation was cancelled! Very disappointed I began to check surrounding area & found no available room that met our expectations. As a result, we decided to drive over an hour to return home. A disappointing end to a great night. The front desk attendant offered no potential solution or suggestions.

What stay? You all oversold your hotel and gave my room to someone else. On top of that you still managed to charge my credit card for the stay. As a frequent business traveler I have never in my over 30 years of traveling ever had someone sell my room and leave me with no where to stay. I will never visit you or Hyatt Place ever again. And the response from the person at the front desk when asked where I was suppose to sleep tonight was a resounding...and I quote "Not my problem. Please leave now".

Hotel was amazing. Free 2 water bottles daily. Huge room. Lots of room to walk around change and relax. However No Hot Showers, Daily Parking Fees & Breakfast always runs out with one person named Anita working in the kitchen. We had cold to lukewarm showers for three days. We had complained to Cheryl who was the assistant general manager and she told me she would take care of it. When we came back and took showers again, no improvement. The shower handle stopped at an angle and Cheryl said it was in every hotel room. Our shower handle did not proceed all the way down and only stopped at borderline cold and borderline warm. Though we complained again at checkout, it was more important for Cheryl, the assistant General Manager to be right and us to be wrong and though she said she would check again and that the problem maybe with plumbing, we left unhappy. When we checked in, there was no mention or sign of daily parking fees. Though we complained again at checkout, it was more important for Cheryl, the assistant General Manager to be right and us to be wrong and though she said she would check again and that the problem maybe with plumbing, we left unhappy. When we checked in, there was no mention or sign of daily parking fees. I arrived during a huge storm and the wifi was out making it really hard to check people in. Ben was amazing and went the extra mile to make sure I, and my daughter who is in a wheelchair, got a room on the first floor that was handicap accessible. Since we couldn’t print out room keys yet, he walked us to our room and let us get settled while they waited for the Wi-Fi to come back on. He then personally brought us our room keys along with two free snacks and beverages for the inconvenience. To top it off the next morning he greeted us by first names and treated us just like family. He even offered to pick up our order from the restaurant next-door because it was raining. This level of customer service I have not seen in a decade.

We booked this hotel in advance. Upon our arrival, which was late in the evening, we were informed that they had given our room away. There was no communication and my 13 year old daughter and I were forced to go find another place to stay at midnight. The policies of both Hyatt and Expedia should not allow this to happen.

The beds are way too soft. My back was in knots by morning. I knew the beds were too soft, and thought about sleeping on the floor, but the floor was too cold. When I looked out my window in the morning, I saw a few tents in the woods behind the hotel, and my first thought was, I bet they slept better than I did. I also thought staying a little bit further away from the airport would be quiter, i.e. no airplane noise, but the hotel sits right next to interstate 64, I woke up numerous times to loud cars/trucks. There are better options in the area, or you can bring a tent.

The property was in a good area for restaurants. The staff were all pleasant. The breakfast was very limited with not options such as cold cereal, no decaf coffee, only two bread selections, no muffins or other pastries. I don't eat bacon, eggs, etc when travelling for breakfast. It would have been nice to grab a muffin or pastry with coffee before my flight. No Decaf. Coffee which was odd.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hyatt. The staff was extremely friendly. We had a ton of space in our room and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. I would recommend this properly to my family and friends.

During our visit there was a severe thunderstorm with lighting striking a transformer nearby. It cause a small fire within one of the elevators. Staff was exceptional in ensuring guests were evacuated and giving us updates per the fire department. We were able to return to our rooms with very minimal disruption. Will definitely book this hotel again.
