The pool looks like it hasn’t been open in a couple of years, the room had a smell, my white socks became black on bottom. The refrigerator had so much ice in the freezer part and it was brown like a soda had exploded in there. I was taller than the shower and I’m 5’5” the ceiling had a big old crack from one and to the other and it looked like they had just patched it. I was just I won’t be back.

The pictures are from 1990 or so. The building is not even the same color. The room was clean but old and damaged. The bath tub was hand painted. The pool is nasty and the grounds were nasty. Despite this the people were friendly. I believe they tried to upgrade but it was done in a hurry. It was cheap, it's pictures were night and day different. It was comfortable enough for the price. It needs a major make over. I have pictures but there is no place to upload them. Thanks!

the shower needs an update the shower head was too strong and was basically filling the bathroom floor up with water, the tv did not work, and the curtains had holes in them.

The hotel room smelled like cigarettes bad and in bathroom there was roaches .There is a pool but in bad condition not like the picture as advertised. The bed sheet were clean that’s all .

I found a bedbug bug one night. The tub was horrendous. The tv didn’t turn on. Holes were in the sheets, it looked like someone put their cigs out on the linen.it’s a good place to stay if funds are tight but if you can pay more, please do.

This property is an absolute dump, rat hole, rat’s nest, for lack of a better term. I wish I could upload pictures. There were roaches and bed bugs!!!! I was scared to touch anything and forget about getting in the shower! I tried to sleep but could not because I was itching from the bed bugs. I snoozed for a minute and woke up because I thought someone was in my room but it turned out someone was talking outside and the paper thin walls made it would like they were in the room. Mildew smell, walls were warped from water damage, sloppy caulking and maintenance. I left in the morning and booked another hotel. TRUST ME AND DO NOT BOOK THIS CRAP BOX OF A HOTEL. IT NEEDS TO BE CONDEMNED. SHAME ON ECONOLODGE FOR MISPRESENTING THE HOTEL. THEY SHOULD SHOW REAL PICTURES WITH THE BUSTED ROOM, ROACHES AND BUGS. BEWARE!!!!!

The motel is not in the most glamorous area and is not the most beautiful I've ever seen by any means. But, I was only looking for someplace comfortable to sleep for a couple nights while I was in town for the Richmond NASCAR race, and this facility served that role very well. The room was comfortable, which was all I was really concerned about.

It was so noisy because of the highway. I literally live closer to a major highway and my apartment is quieter than that room. So I got no sleep, which is the main purpose of a hotel room. Also the bathroom was disgusting. I found a supposedly already used towel on the bed. Bed sheets had holes. Not fun.

Showed up around 830 doors were locked for the desk area. And when the guy came out smelled like he was doing drugs. The room was dirty and musty smelling. Cracks in the ceiling. And the one bed was broken

My wife and I were were very pleased. The price for the area was great and the room pleasantly clean and in good order. We were shown a couple rooms and treated kindly. Overall a good experience. With a little more love the whole place could be great.

Overall, the entire place was dirty. I got there after dark, thank goodness. I was on the second floor & the so called solid metal steps to the 2nd floor has big rust holes and stairs wiggled as I went up, did not feel 100% secure/safe. I got a room key for an already in-use room. Had to go back to office, clerk was very sorry. The interior door safety chain was connected to the wall, but no place to latch it to the door. Other than that, the room/hotel was OK. Only had coffee in the AM. I do not drink coffee. Was NOT worth the $70+ I spent.

It was a okay stay. The bath tub has a lot of damaged inner lining, as soon as the shower was started it wouldn’t drain for a long time. The hotel staff was quite nice overall and the cleanliness itself was okay!

Had corner room , two Young men gathered in that area all evening and part of the night, talking and smoking, seems very odd. Had to leave the hôtel in the middle of the night could not sleep with all that noise.

The door wasn’t properly sealed & you could see light all the way around. The curtains were torn. There was no breakfast as the pictures portrayed. The location was sketchy. We ended up not staying (got a refund) due the fact that I felt that I couldn’t leave my vehicle unattended. There were people hanging around outside when I got there around 10pm. Women who I can only assume that they were prostitutes. Men, who could I only assume that were drug dealers. This property is not what it appears to be on the website.

We did not like that feeling we felt unsafe and dirty. Next is that it smelled horrible for example smell of cigarettes. We would also heard a sound in the middle of the night. My family and I were really scared and didn’t make us feel safe in the hotel we thought anything could happen. Thankfully we only got your motel for just one night.

This place was horrible. The bathroom was digusting. The tub needed replacement and the flooring in the bathroom was coming up. There was no place to set your luggage. The sign for breakfast read 6a to 9a, but when i went up there, i was told it was at 7am. Went back, still nothing. You should remove this location from your listings.
