Woodbine Park Eco Cabins

The cabin in itself is fine. The kitchen is adequate and the bathroom okay, although the sink only had hot water and the shower minimal water pressure. It is an eco cabin, so I guess this is the reason. Outside was really nice with lots of kangaroos and cockatoos. We had booked 2 bedrooms but were rung the day before asking what beds should be made up. We said one bedroom. The result was the 2nd bedroom was locked. We usually put the bags in there ... and we had paid for it. The absolutely worst thing was the smell when we went in. There was a pungent fishy smell that was strong and disturbing. it seemed somewhat better the next day, but certainly not gone. We would not return because of this.

An amazing place to stay if you would like to experience kangaroos all around and lots of other Australian wildlife. A great place for a 2 night stay, we loved the pool and feeding the wildlife.

This was the second time we stayed at Woodbine Cabins. Marita was most helpful. We loved the tall trees, the kangaroos, the cheeky cockatoos who greeted us when we returned from our outing and a spectacular caterpillar nibbling on a wattle shrub by the wetland pool. It is a Wattle moth catepillar - Neola semiaurata. Will be happy to come again! Margaret K
