Staff failed to mention they were doing construction on the roof at 7 am .. woke up to loud noises. Had we’d known we would’ve went elsewhere

Granted it was the only available and cheapest motel in town. Just stopping over on my way to Carlsbad. It's an oil-town with mostly oil workers living in the motels. When I arrived the clerk wasn't there for 10-20 minutes, the guy was very friendly and professional after showing up. When I left in the morning a dude had been waiting longer to check in after a night shift. The place was fine, but missing some basics like tissues and some toiletries. Broken chair, the door was hard to open and pretty loud; I could see there was friction tearing at the door frame, many of the satellite TV channels didn't load properly so channels were limited, the bluish task lights were a bit charring for lighting a room, and some other minor things I can't recall. It was ok for a night stop-over, but not good. I liked that it had a fridge/freezer unit, the bed was decent, and internet worked well.

Looks like they are the process of remodeling a very rundown old hotel. The room interiors were updated and clean however the hotel looks vacant when you first pull in and the property is rough. Our toilet didn’t work. No mini toiletries. 2 small towels per room. If you can get an exterior room those seem to be better.

Pets are welcome. Room very clean. No extra toiletries only hand soap or hairdryer. Outside grounds are in poor shape (no landscaping whatsoever.

The staff overall was very nice. Looks like the room was recently renovated and it was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Definitely staying here on my next visit to pecos. The only problem i had is that they no longer have a laundry room but there's a coin wash 4 minutes down the road. That bit was very inconvenient but the room was great. Shower works but could be better.

Overall, it was a terrible experience. We arrived late at night with a lot of luggage. There was no elevator to assist us in getting our luggage upstairs. When we finally did get everything into our room, we tried to use the sink and the shower. Neither would drain at all!! You would have to stand in a foot of water in order to take a shower. We asked for more towels, and the staff gave my husband a towel stained with a yellow substance. Additionally, the floors were sticky and the sheets had small hairs in them. The only reason I booked this motel was because of past reviews about cleanliness. This was highly inaccurate.

Everything was good, except that none of the ice machines worked.

For a budget price hotel this is our go to place to stay for years. The beds are comfortable the staff is amazing. Friendly and super helpful. Yes there is room for improvement but renovations are being done. Pet friendly and housekeeping is always on the ball. Will be back every time we get a job here.

Sheets were dirty and stained. Bathroom was dirty. Walls are thin so you can hear the people in the next room over whispering. It was double the price that it was actually worth. Very disappointed as I opted to pay the extra price for a better quality hotel.

Gnats everywhere. My room only had a few. But the wonderful lady at desk warned it was gnat season!! I slept very comfortable! Would stay here again.

There was roches

This was the worst place to stay. We stayed for one night and found dead cockroaches and bugs in the room. The bathroom was filthy, with a puddle of water under the sink as soon as we arrived, suggesting it hadn't been cleaned before our stay. The bed sheets were dirty and stained. For the price, this place is a rip-off; it's extremely dirty and feels unsafe. The walls are so thin you can hear neighbors talking, and we barely got any sleep.

First room was assigned to me had a many cockroach were dead in the room !!

There was hair on the bed and in the shower and roaches.

There were cockroaches. One huge one on the floor and several dead under the mattress. My husband reported it to the staff and they said “there’s nothing we can do about it since you booked through Expedia.”

Service was great. Only issue was the TV. Failed to function correctly. Control would not work. Ended up having to unplug to get it to turn off. Had trouble selecting channels, etc.

My stay was paid in full from Thurs-Tues. Someone came into my room on Saturday at approx 8am n walked out. That afternoon my key card was deactivated. Housekeeping came once on Friday. After that they didn't come again and I had to go to the local Walmart and purchase my own towels. Someone tried to get in my car and grease prints on the driver door handle.

Check in was great, very friendly. Room was in good shape. My only real complaint is that at 9am housekeeping knocks on my door while I had the do not disturb sign on the door. I was already awake but really? Are they trying to get me up and out the door a few hours before checkout.

The staff working the front desk were very friendly and very nice.

Other than getting sent to a room that was occupied. It wasn’t terrible… definitely not a 4 star place to stay

I had stayed at that location prior to it being a Motel 6 and we did not liked it too much, but I believe in second chances. The rooms are comfortable, location was great. The free coffee in the morning was ok…

Two day stay for business. Hotel looks old from the outside but has been remodeled recently on the inside. The room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was also clean, good water pressure, towels could be better. No breakfast just coffee. In my opinion it was a good deal for the price if you’re looking for something not too expensive. I’ll definitely stay there again.
