It was amazing. There's a small creek right beside the cabin. It was a great size for our family. They had a lot of outdoor games for the kids or adults.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed here from 8/5/25 11pm- 8/7/25 11am. Not only was it a beautiful area to stay with their cabin like and wagon rooms but the scenery was great. There was a creek you could do a bonfire by, just as many around the “settlement”. They also had areas for you to just sit and eat and barbecue and one area where you could play games like: jenga, and others. In this area there was also a fish tank with trout, the place gives you a little bag to feed them. The employees and owner were amazing not only with us but I saw it with everyone. Kept asking if we were finding everything ok, very helpful and welcoming. They also have a restaurant in there which serves all breakfast, lunch and dinner at their designated times in case you don’t want to travel far for food and stay there. The food was great. We enjoyed their breakfast at one point and dinner. The host and servers here were also amazing. Kept checking in on us and just went above and beyond. I truly loved this place along my husband and kiddos. We have already made plans to stay here again once Yosemite has water in the waterfalls, as we came when things were dry lol. Definitely recommend!!

Really nice staff. A range of options for rooms. We chose the primitive tent cabin. No frills but fit the budget. Pleased to find our own private gas fire pit and complimentary s’mores… and coffee in the morning. It was a fine stop on our road trip.

Beds are comfortable, rooms are small but comfortable and ours included a couch. The “back yard” has wonderful Adirondack chairs around a propane fire pit and a two-person bench swing, and in the evening many lights came on. The nearby creek was flowing and sounded sweet. We also got a welcome bag with fun goodies. Dinner was very satisfying and the service is top tier. We will be back!

Quick 1 night stay, but it was everything we could hope for. Will be back for a longer stay. Close to many hiking trails, several lakes, hot springs, the small town of Bridgeport, right at Bodie Park entrance, even close to Yosemite. Spent a day at Mono lake, very nice area and lots to explore. The site is adorable, very thoughtfully set up with outdoor community areas, several fire pits, outdoor games like cornhole, and even smores skewrs. Cute and rustic but lots of conveniences. A restaurant onsite, along with a trout farm,and located along a creek.

We had two small children with us so we chose the motel style room, and used the picnic table area to set up our camp stove for dinner and breakfast. The camp kitchen also had a microwave which was very handy! Upon arrival, we got a welcome bag with a smores kit and fish food for the trout tanks. At first I thought the room was pricey but then I realized what it’s worth - watching my kids giggle while the fed the fish, making smores next to the ricer and then getting our feet wet, playing lawn games for hours! It was so much more than just a place to spend the night, it was a place to just be.

We loved staying here! Loved the creek & fire pit & they gave us everything we needed to make smores. The restaurant on site had delicious food so we ate dinner & breakfast there. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Will definitely stay here again!!

A really fun resort that’s well kept inside and out. The rooms are really small, but comfortable with a small couch and fridge. The decor is all western. There’s a rushing creek on the grounds and a fish hatchery. Lots of nice wood chairs and fire pits to enjoy. They also offered a Tesla charger at no cost. We would stay there again

This place is a gem. I would recommend it to anyone. Dog friendly, family friendly, very nice accommodations, very responsive and great service. They have outdoor grills, a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a horseshoe pit, cornhole boards, and a few trout tanks outside. Cabin/Room was nice enough. Could be cleaner. To many cobwebs and floor was not swept. Bathroom/shower area was really cramped for a male adult. I guess its part of the cabin/room thing. Owner was very nice. It's probably difficult finding employees in that area to clean. I did NOT have that oogy feeling like I had to worry about getting bit.

Very disappointed and conflicted. Stayed here before covid and had a great time, restaurant was great and recommended it to friends so when in area again, we booked for a night. This recent stay was terrible. Food left in the sink and crumbs in areas of the cabin causes ant invasion. We cleaned up what we could see but woke in the morning to more ants and all over our things. Ate at the restaurant twice, dinner and breakfast - quality gone downhill, breakfast was awful. My wife ordered a pancake and it was basically raw in middle, hardly looked cooked and the server didnt even know what was on the menu. Family was supposed to get breakfast potatoes with their meal but he argued it was one choice - read the menu and understand or and better. Overall, super disappointed that place we found quaint first time around is no longer.

This place never disappoints! The cabins have all the basics you need to be comfortable, but the location is the real treasure! The addition over the years of Direct TV and wifi is nice, but usually just here to enjoy the view Always love the breakfast in the restaurant before leaving too. Prefect getaway spot.

Very nice proprietors, great restaurant. The room was too crowded. It had one queen and two singles, but there was no room for a small table and a couple of chairs. It was awkward to move around in with the two of us. Perhaps get rid of one or both of the single beds and put in a small table.

everything was almost great. I will definitly not stay here again for the only reason that the beds are like from 30 years ago. i could not sit down without the mattress making noise that it could be heard outside. This place can certainly afford better mattresses. my family and i did not rest all night. whenever someone moved we could hear them. it was not cool. the sliding door in our cabin, had a broken lock. but we managed. umm, yeah, the mattresses have to go.

I had a great stay at this cozy establishment during a long CA roadtrip. The room was clean and comfortable, the only thing that was inconvenient was the metal plates on the heater warping at night, causing an occasional knocking sound. There are bbqs and fire pits and lovely little Creek passing through the property. It's in a secluded area, which was what I wanted. There was a cute little restaurant to get a warm meal. Nothing fancy but just a few comfort foods which was nice on a cold day. Avery was the young man helping us at the restaurant and he was so knowledgeable about the area!

Nice cabin along the river. Plenty of outside seating areas with fire pits to relax. The staff was very friendly. I did not like the lighting in the room, it was the Edison bulbs that have the yellow glow to them, which made the room dark and hard to see. Possibly just my preference.

While the property is very unique with several cabins, we stayed in one of the 5 rooms available. The room was nice but the heater was loud all night. The dining area was very small and food was just OK.

So both people I dealt with were polite and helpful. The problem was that they put me right next to the only other people staying there. And the restaurant closed right after getting there so no way to request a different room. They were of course up playing loud music and partying until 1 a.m. I heard every word they said, like they were in the same room. And the next morning the coffee maker didn't have any coffee supplies. Went and got one at the restaurant. $5 . For a 12 oz cup of coffee. I would not recommend this place. Keep driving.

This place is fantastic. Just the perfect place from which to explore the area. Easy check in, lots of friendly people, and really easy going and comfortable for dog guests....there is plenty of room to roam. just great

Travel to this place at least 2 to 3 times a year for past 10 years. This time the service was not as good as usual. I had booked 2 nights and later decide to arrive there one day earlier a f booked a different room as the other one was not available. The “Littles” were not there and the service counter person was being rude for some reason. I did request of possible to Check into our regular room the second day of it was ready .. as I was there . They said “no” and I had to check out by 11 and sit till 3 pm check in time. I had my baggage and had to load it up to the car And wait to check in … wasting my day, instead of doing some activities in the area. The water level was very low and the water wasn’t heating in the shower.

Check in (at the quaint) restaurant was easy and my room was comfortable with a rustic feel. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. I had dinner and breakfast at their restaurant both of which were delicious and had that homemade touch. If I’m ever in this area again, I will definitely stay there again. I had dinner and breakfast at their restaurant both of which were delicious and had that homemade touch. If I’m ever in this area again, I will definitely stay there again. We loved staying here! Loved the creek & fire pit & they gave us everything we needed to make smores. The restaurant on site had delicious food so we ate dinner & breakfast there. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Will definitely stay here again!!

The owners and staff went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and in helping us. When we checked in we were given a free upgrade, because we were staying several days and there were higher-priced rooms that had not been reserved (post Labor-day). They supply everyone with a "goody bag" containing the makings for S'mores (to be made in fire rings near the creek) and fish food to feed the young trout that they are raising in tanks behind the hotel for release into the creek. We were given great advice on places to visit. The staff supplied us with plates from the kitchen to heat the leftovers from our meal at their restaurant. (We were quite pleased with the restaurant, by the way.) They also gave us tea bags, coffee capsules, and a small pitcher of milk for our breakfasts in our room. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The facility is old and a bit funky, but the bed was comfortable and we were quite happy there. Don't expect a modern luxury resort.

This property is on the 395, with loud traffic and 6 miles from Bridgeport. Very small cabins with out dated beds and a dirty fold out twin bed and no table's in rooms . Very interesting property with trippy cabins and a stagecoach you can rent . Restaurant is standard food and is very expensive. Pizzas are great!

This was a fun place to stay. Close to Bodie and Yosemite. Good food in the restaurant. We stayed in a cabin (#14) and it was very comfortable. Interesting glamping opportunities here, too. We would stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed here from 8/5/25 11pm- 8/7/25 11am. Not only was it a beautiful area to stay with their cabin like and wagon rooms but the scenery was great. There was a creek you could do a bonfire by, just as many around the “settlement”. They also had areas for you to just sit and eat and barbecue and one area where you could play games like: jenga, and others. In this area there was also a fish tank with trout, the place gives you a little bag to feed them. The employees and owner were amazing not only with us but I saw it with everyone. Kept asking if we were finding everything ok, very helpful and welcoming. They also have a restaurant in there which serves all breakfast, lunch and dinner at their designated times in case you don’t want to travel far for food and stay there. The food was great. We enjoyed their breakfast at one point and dinner. The host and servers here were also amazing. Kept checking in on us and just went above and beyond. I truly loved this place along my husband and kiddos. We have already made plans to stay here again once Yosemite has water in the waterfalls, as we came when things were dry lol. Definitely recommend!!

Quick 1 night stay, but it was everything we could hope for. Will be back for a longer stay. Close to many hiking trails, several lakes, hot springs, the small town of Bridgeport, right at Bodie Park entrance, even close to Yosemite. Spent a day at Mono lake, very nice area and lots to explore. The site is adorable, very thoughtfully set up with outdoor community areas, several fire pits, outdoor games like cornhole, and even smores skewrs. Cute and rustic but lots of conveniences. A restaurant onsite, along with a trout farm,and located along a creek.

We had a great time here. Upon check-in, we were given a gift bag with water, s’mores makings, and fish food so we could feed the fish at their on-site fish farm. They have several fire pits on their property and a creek that runs behind it. The restaurant food was a bit expensive, but delicious. I look forward to staying there again.

Very disappointed and conflicted. Stayed here before covid and had a great time, restaurant was great and recommended it to friends so when in area again, we booked for a night. This recent stay was terrible. Food left in the sink and crumbs in areas of the cabin causes ant invasion. We cleaned up what we could see but woke in the morning to more ants and all over our things. Ate at the restaurant twice, dinner and breakfast - quality gone downhill, breakfast was awful. My wife ordered a pancake and it was basically raw in middle, hardly looked cooked and the server didnt even know what was on the menu. Family was supposed to get breakfast potatoes with their meal but he argued it was one choice - read the menu and understand or and better. Overall, super disappointed that place we found quaint first time around is no longer.

When trying to take shower water just shot into wall behind you more than down. Was told will tell boss. That's as far as that went. Lots of dogs some on leash others just running up on you..some just left barking alone in rooms wile owners left

Everything was excellent except the beds. It was in a very annoying to sleep on them as they were very noisy. But overall I like this place and it was my 2nd time staying there and it wouldn’t be last 😊
