One of the affordable but better places to stay. Food options very limited since the theme park closes at 6 & so do the restaurants. Also can get very noisy being attached to the park and crowded trying to get in. Pool needs major renovation and doesn’t really have a place to relax or lounge chairs. Odd setup. Some rooms are a little run down whereas others are more updated. Big downside was the bayside view window rooms. Our windows were dirty and scratched & it was like that at most of the view points in the hotel, making it really unpleasant and not able to see out. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Thebrooms with aquarium ar le fenomenal. The hotel is part of Manila ocean park, but at this moment, there is a lot of works and renovations going on. Once the ocean parks closes (18:00) there is nothing to do. The bar is closed and only one (bad) restaurant remains open. Pool is a bit a downer too, as it is located in a basement far outside the hotel in the view of everybody watching the sea-lion show. It closes already at 17:00. All in all this place has a lot of potential for a great stay, but at this moment it's only great as long as you stay in your room.

When I was booking this, one of the booking amenities is the pool. It’s not the best pool in the world but the pool is on the picture so I thought it’s there. We got to the hotel to check in but got told that it’s under renovation. It was really a big disappointment as I have kids that loved water. Upon entering our room, the aquarium looks nice but we were left to figure out how to use the remote to hide the aquarium. Had to figure out by ourselves and felt ignorant at some point. Our first day, the shower flooded all the way to the walkway of our room. It just doesn’t drain fast enough. The bathroom doesn’t have a real door so you can’t really poop in privacy because the shower door is also the bathroom door which doesn’t latch at all. Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely not. They didn’t do anything to make our stay memorable. The service, the staff and the overall experience is terrible. I don’t think it should be rated as a 4 star hotel.

The room was very nice we had a full aquarium for the entire wall by the bed. Very cool. The downside was there was no pool that was really usable. If you are not focused on the pool it’a a very good hotel. Amazing for kids theres so many activities for them. Maybe better as a family hotel with children.

Well, a fine example that you can’t live on old merits! The “big breakfast buffet” was a joke and nothing that we expected. The room was so humid and warm and it was really difficult to set the aircon right, a few degrees lower and it got freezing cold, the dry function didn’t work properly. Signs of mold in the bathroom. Nice aquarium though. The whole place was like a ghost town after 7 pm and the gym was boring and bad!

The room smelled moldy, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall and had brown stains. The internet was constantly unstable and the tv could not connect to the internet. I had to watch tv on my phone. However the aquarium was pretty and the bathroom area was pretty and clean.

Ok hotel but I would not recommend. Drop off location to get to the lobby is somewhat awkward. We arrived at night and no personnel at front. The ramp to get to the main level is dark and very unsafe. Even the bellman was having hard time. Hallway carpets are dirty and have musty smell including smoking smell where I found it uninviting. Room size is ok for small number of people but the room carpet also are the same as the hallway; dirty and smelly. Some of the rooms ceiling has mildew stain or sort of dark stain. Wall paper are peeling and behind counter, desk are dusty. We have total 5 rooms and one of our rooms in-room phone is not working and it’s covered with full dust. The other room closet is broken. Although, staff were very helpful especially the front desk. She help me booked transportation multiple times to accommodate our large number of family.

I was in 2 different rooms, one with the fish tank running the entire length on the wall and the other facing Manila Bay. Both rooms had fraying carpet, loose fixtures and random holes from previous wall fixtures/outlets. Many of the wall panels in the hallways and lobby were loose. The entire property looks like it needs to be renovated.

The staff was extremely professional and helpful and the price was fair, however the room had a mildew smell and evidence of water damage is some areas. The glass shower door also could not close properly due to poor fitment.

Det viste sig ved ankomst, at hotellet lå midt i en forlystelsespark- Ocean World. Det betød at der på weekenddage var fyldt med børnefamilier, hvilket var svært at ignorere, da der var meget lydt imellem værelserne. Køleskabet virkede ikke, og derfor bestilte jeg et par gange en spand is fra room service. Den ene gang gik det nogenlunde, men anden gang gik der 75 minutter før det kom, og det selvom jeg ringede efter en time og mindende dem om min bestilling. Umiddelbart fungerede det nogenlunde, men det bliver nok ikke her jeg bor hvis jeg nogensinde kommer igen.

Hotel H2O is definitely meant for children and their families. The ocean park and its events are very much geared towards young children. The restaurants are more like fast food, with many being full of fried things. There weren’t a lot of restaurants around the area outside of the ocean park. We had an aqua room. When we arrived, we went into our room to discover a crack in the sink and one in the bathroom counter. No matter what temperature the room was set, there was a pervasive cold damp feeling in it. I joked to my husband that there must be a ghost haunting our room. I was only warm when I doubled the blanket over myself, otherwise the heat I managed to generate quickly left me. The walls were ridiculously thin. We could hear everything, from both walls of our neighbors. The first night, my husband said he woke up around midnight, to a kid and his parents excitedly talking about their room. The second and final night, I laid in bed awake until sometime after 11:30, because the other side’s neighbors had their tv blaring and were laughing and playing games loudly. Breakfast was something we had paid for, but left something to be desired. There weren’t many options outside of bread, and the eggs had a greenish tint and hadn’t been fully cooked in places. On our way out, we were asked to wait for five minutes while they checked the room. Thirty minutes later, when I asked about it, they had forgotten about us. We took the unbroken elevator down and happily moved on.

Our first day, the shower flooded all the way to the walkway of our room. It just doesn’t drain fast enough. The bathroom doesn’t have a real door so you can’t really poop in privacy because the shower door is also the bathroom door which doesn’t latch at all. Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely not. They didn’t do anything to make our stay memorable. The service, the staff and the overall experience is terrible. I don’t think it should be rated as a 4 star hotel.
When I was booking this, one of the booking amenities is the pool. It’s not the best pool in the world but the pool is on the picture so I thought it’s there. We got to the hotel to check in but got told that it’s under renovation. It was really a big disappointment as I have kids that loved water. Upon entering our room, the aquarium looks nice but we were left to figure out how to use the remote to hide the aquarium. Had to figure out by ourselves and felt ignorant at some point. I had high expectations for this hotel and was somewhat disappointed. It took about 20 minutes to check in because the line was long and there are only 2 desk clerks. The room I had has an amazing view of the bay and bed is comfy. What I didn't like is the bathroom. Not the best privacy because the doors are frosted glass that you can still see into. For a newer hotel I wasn't expecting the shower and toilet to share the same floor. The pictures the Hotel took did a good job of hiding that fact. And there isn't much temperature adjustment for the shower - basically a cold shower. In terms of restaurants, they seem to be only open when the Ocean Park is open. We went to the ground floor on a Wednesday before 7pm and EVERYTHING was closed. There isn't really anything in walking distance for food. I, along with other guests, had to get food delivered from Grab. There is a refrigerator in the room but ours was broken. Maintenance just unplugged and plugged it back it. After that it turned on but didn't get cold at all. This wasn't the worst stay, but I don't think I would book again.

I was in 2 different rooms, one with the fish tank running the entire length on the wall and the other facing Manila Bay. Both rooms had fraying carpet, loose fixtures and random holes from previous wall fixtures/outlets. Many of the wall panels in the hallways and lobby were loose. The entire property looks like it needs to be renovated.

checking in was a horrible .I waited downstairs at the entry for approximately 30 minutes for someone to show up to help me with my baggage. finally after the security fellow called up several times a gentleman in security uniform indicted he would get the luggage to me and I went upstairs to check in .I checked in and went to the room and the wife worked intermittently for the entire evening .it was horrible. I called th reception over and over and over again but no one answers .then gave me a little slip with a whats app number as well which I couldn't call because the wifi was constanlty not working .I then finally connected and nd in the morning 2 gentlemen came to the room and bought a modem and connected it .that too did not work after a while so two days I doid not have wifi and im so upset because you need that for flight bookings and receiving and decemminating information .this issue alone would dissuade me from booking a room there again

I think that this was my favorite hotel room ever! One entire wall over the bed was an aquarium with beautiful tropical fish swimming around, hanging out, generally doing what fish do. It was so much fun! The other wall was mirrored, so it seemed even bigger than what I’d guess is a 12 foot long and 8 foot high aquarium. The bed was comfy and had padding around the bed making it comfortable to sit and take off shoes etc. The rest of the room was well appointed and large. There was an indirect light that went on with movement, so you don’t have to find a light if you get up in the middle of the night. My only nits were not having an electrical plug closer to the bed and an aging, but serviceable shower. The amenities were generous and the view of the harbor from the hotel restaurant is lovely, especially at sunset. I’ll come back in a nanosecond.

Checking in was very difficult. You are dumped in a car park with no clear directions to the check in area on level 3. The room we booked was not available as they had an aircon issue so they put 5 of us in a room with 1 bed! After complaining we were moved to a family room, without a bay view like we booked. We had to share towels as they didn’t give us enough. The breakfast is literally the worst buffet we have ever seen. Pretty much no western options at all. Not even cereal or a cup of tea! In summary, it’s overpriced and pretty awful. Avoid!

This was a great hotel but let down by the crowds. Room was top-notch. Property was in tip-top shape. Location was great. Room service leaves much to be desired with at times as I've had to make 4 phone calls and wait 30mins for extra bath towels. Regarding check in and check out, the staff although were pleasant and professional seemed overwhelmed I believe due to the sheer number of people needing to be processed. Our neighbouring room decided to have a karaoke session until the wee hours of the morning and so my wife and kids struggled to stay asleep. Staff did attend to this crisis promptly. Again, the crowds getting around the property I felt was rude, rushing in and out of lifts and just couldn't care less about other patrons around them. My kids wanted to stay another night but we've had enough of the people.

Had an issue at check-in (duplicate reservation) that they wouldn't follow up on; got charged for a entire meal because I asked for side of breakfast meat which, for some reason, was not included in the complementary buffet as listed in the room. The powered blinds were inoperable and they did not fix. Asked for an additional bottle of water and they insisted I pay cash for it. Made a spa appointment and had to wait 25 minutes for someone to come to the front.

Staff weren't the best apart from the concierge Elijah who was very helpful. It was my wife's birthday and I had booked H2O as a birthday treat. I had informed hotel by email before I went about wife's birthday and again upon check in. We were supposed to receive a small something for her and that it would be delivered at 7 pm to our room. Nothing appeared.nothing was said by staff. Also the entrance to the ocean park is very dark and had poor lighting we had gone Into city for a meal. On return there was no lighting place was very dark. room Was nice. I don't think we would stay here again though.

Our taxi driver was worried to leave us there, and when we used the provided phone at the desk to call the concierge, they told us to walk up to the third-floor reception. Our room was clean, and the view over the bay was magnificent. We appreciated the drinking water in the hallways. We were grateful that we could still order room service on the night that we arrived. But breakfast was expensive and just mediocre. Overall, it was.... fine. During the day, there were lots of people around to visit the water park, but it was dark and a little creepy at night.

I like the location of the place and its access to nearby attractions. However, the layout is poorly designed. Older guests with limited mobility may need a wheelchair, as there is a lot of walking required to reach the units. The fish tank in the room is very cool (be aware that fish can swim past into other rooms although you can’t see or hear other rooms)! The bed is comfy and the amenities are nice (kettle and fridge in room). Be aware: It is a long hike to the room and the area around the hotel is a bit rough.

Additionally, there was a lack of urgency in refilling food trays, even when the buffet line was long. When asked when the food trays will be refilled, one of the staff said “it’s being cooked” meaning the restaurant was not prepared. You cannot prevent the long line but you can at least prepare the food in anticipation for the amount of people that will come and eat.

Very disappointed that the restaurants closed so early. We went down to eat at the various restaurants, and all were closed by 7:00 PM. Had to order food online and have it delivered. Staff should ensure guests know that they won't get to eat dinner at the hotel. Put a damper on our trip; I was looking forward to a nice dinner.

Pas de terrasse au soleil contrairement aux photos, tout est cassé ou en travaux, c’est assez sombre. Petit déjeuner, pas de thé pas de laitages et pas de fruits. Uniquement des plats salés.

Their wifi is horrible ,this alone would dissuade me from booking their hotel.They need to fix this issue I was at the hotel in February and they had the same issue .Adittionallt there ford is terrible. I had the beef stay supposedly Thai style it was disgusting really nothing like what its supposed to taste like.i also ordered the Tilapia supposedly Thai Style no resemblance to Thai style ,it was overly sweet the fish had an odor as well .it was not a pleasant experience .I also ordered a burger with fries the fries were fine the Berger was something weird with what appeared to be said dressing on it and the meat was some weird processed meat I have no idea if it had any beef in it .I could not eat any of the food it was simple horrible.im generally very charitable when critiquing service but I have to tell it like it is they need to work n the food its really really really bad .the staff was just fine a lot of hard working filipino people probably expoited and under paid by the owners of the hotel

I had the beef stay supposedly Thai style it was disgusting really nothing like what its supposed to taste like.i also ordered the Tilapia supposedly Thai Style no resemblance to Thai style ,it was overly sweet the fish had an odor as well .it was not a pleasant experience .I also ordered a burger with fries the fries were fine the Berger was something weird with what appeared to be said dressing on it and the meat was some weird processed meat I have no idea if it had any beef in it .I could not eat any of the food it was simple horrible.im generally very charitable when critiquing service but I have to tell it like it is they need to work n the food its really really really bad .the staff was just fine a lot of hard working filipino people probably expoited and under paid by the owners of the hotel
