Quinta do Monteverde

We enjoyed our brief stay very much at Quinta Do Monteverde! So fun to experience an historic and unique property. Thank you for your great hospitality!

Plenty of character, great views and extremely peaceful. All of the staff were friendly and happy to provide help or local recommendations.

Beautiful hotel and grounds with fresh, new rooms and Spa’ish bathroom. It was a nice upgrade from my last stay in a “guesthouse.” If I were to return to this area, I would definitely stay more than one night. Bom Camino!

Stayed here on Camino trip for a treat. Fantastic - huge room, beautifully furnished. Good breakfast & great recommendation for local tapas restaurant. Vanessa was very helpful & proficient. Highly recommended

The grounds are beautiful! It is quite a ways off the Camino, in case you are walking it. Entering the facilities is awkward because of the gate and waiting to be let in or out of the grounds. Our room was very hot and the air conditioner was incredibly noisy and not effective. My husband ended up sleeping on a mattress in the other room to avoid the noise! But he was still too hot. We tried to pay for the "honor" bar beer at the time we had it but were told to pay in the morning, which ended up in a delay in starting our day. Their tip for eating at the Brazilian restaurant nearby was a good one! Breakfast was good, just a little too quiet and overly formal compared to other nice hotels on the Camino. Everything was more formal and less organized than we would have liked. Probably wouldn\'t stay here again. Such a shame since this was the one hotel (of 13!) I was most looking forward to!
