We had an amazing stay at the Lamai Bayview resort! Great location if you want to travel around the island or if you just want to enjoy Lamai Beach. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, terrace with a view right next to the beach away from the crowd. Just great!

Stayed 3 nights

We stayed at Lamai Bayview for 3 nights with our two teenage sons. We booked a Garden View for our sons and a Sea View for ourselves. Both bungalows were exactly as expected, clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the beds in the Garden View bungalow were very hard. Our Sea View bungalow, however, had a wonderful terrace, and we really enjoyed relaxing there while taking in the beautiful view. The resort itself was peaceful, quiet, and very relaxing. The only exception was that, during our stay, workers started building a new pathway directly outside our sons’ bungalow. We felt this was unfortunate timing, especially since many other bungalows were unoccupied. Our oldest son even ended up with cement on his shoes because of the construction. The swimming pool was lovely and refreshing, with a beautiful view over the sea. Breakfast was fairly simple and limited, but it included everything we needed to start the day. A special thank you for the towel Elephant! Out of the six hotels we stayed at during our trip around Thailand, Lamai Bayview was the only one that made a towel animal for us. It’s a charming Thai tradition that many tourists hope to experience, and it made us smile. The location is also very convenient. It’s an easy walk down to the main street, where you’ll find a pharmacy, a 7-Eleven, and plenty of restaurants. Overall, we had a relaxing stay and we would happily recommend Lamai Bayview to other travelers.
