We went to use the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was empty and broken and the pool heater wasn’t on so the water was frigid. Although it was a beautiful spa area it was completely unusable. The steakhouse was excellent.

Weirdest casino I’ve ever been in, in my life… Went to gamble and watch band at the stage bar. Band played until midnight, but the bar shuts down at 11:00… What sense does that make??? Can’t get anything to eat anywhere in casino after midnight… No wonder no one was there!! Won’t be going back. Gold Strike and Horseshoe are much better and more accommodating!!

The property, like many in Tunica, does not appear to be adequately maintained. There was an abundance of litter on and around the parking lot. Trash cans inside were often overflowing with excessive trash. Vending machines were inoperable. Jacuzzi was closed and used as a live clam tank. Pool water was cold. And a lot of standing water around the pool. Rooms were still being cleaned at 8pm on Sunday

I have travelled a lot and I think the rooms here might be the nastiest that I have ever seen. The whole hotel is just entirely rundown and trashy. There was no toilet paper in our room when we checked in. The room was extensively damaged as seen in the photos. It was VERY unclean. There was mold in the shower and bathroome. Not acceptable for the price and definitely not a place I will ever be back. If you choose to stay here, don't say that I didn't warn you!!! Beware of this place! You were warned!

I have stayed at this hotel before a year ago. The room we got this time was by far the worst ever air conditioning was not working properly. Had it set to 64 and we burned up all night on you could tell they’ve been working on it because the panel was moved and not put back. There was pubic hairs in the sink and the tub and around the corners were filthy very dusty in front of the TV and the Staff was not friendly. And didn’t offer me any compensation I’m not having air in my room. They told me I should have called well when you get back to the room late you don’t expect the maintenance to come. I had to turn the air on when I got there that should’ve told me something it was completely off And the bed the mattress needed to be replaced. There was a big dip on the left-hand side. it was so very hard. Was not up to what it used to be for sure

We were scheduled to stay at Hollywood casino July 22-24, 2024. When I pulled back the sheets to get ready for bed there were several spots of bright red blood, the biggest of which was the size of a penny. I called the front desk and she said to take a picture and find to the front desk to see the manager. I went to the front desk. The registrar took my phone to the back room and returned telling me they would put us in a different room and would refund that night’s stay. I questioned her as to how the made could be made up with this very obvious stain? She said, “It could have been from a contractor or any number of people.” She didn’t seem to have much concern and I never did see a manager. In the new room we had problems with the air conditioner and could not get the room cool. We could not get the satellite on the TV to work. When we were finally able to rent a movie, it would go off every 15 minutes or so and take about an hour to come back on. The next morning we decided to go to a different hotel. We were refunded the second night as well, but the overall lack of concern over the bloody sheets was very disturbing. We will not be returning to this hotel.

The front desk staff looked like they all hated their lives. I had pre-paid for a king room, but was told upon check-in they were "sold out". We ended up with two double beds. If you smoke, this would be your heaven. Smoking is allowed everywhere in the casino and hotel...hallways, elevators, casino floor. Everywhere. All of the guests in surrounding rooms up and down the hall slammed their room doors all day and night. The doors shut easy and the lock catches as it should. Both Friday and Saturday nights, the last door slam was around 2:30am. The people in the adjoining room smoked weed most of their stay, and we had to stuff a towel under the door to block the stench. There was a visible layer of dust in the bathroom. The 2006ish hair dryer did not work. The mirror had a large melted spot and cracked frame. Both sink faucets leaked onto the counter. Shower head partially clogged. In the sleeping area, there was an outlet / charging block available, but only 3 other outlets (1 in each of 3 receptacles). If you bring several items that require electricity, bring an outlet strip of your own. Clothes iron looked like someone tried to make a grilled cheese with it, then it was scrubbed with sandpaper. Torn lamp shade. Lamp cord visibly repaired with black tape. Beds were both uncomfortable and left us with backaches. Waited an hour and a half for fresh towels after 2 phone calls. Property opened in 1996, and it shows. Never, ever, ever again will we stay here.

First impression... Soon as you walk in you're hit with stale cigarette smoke. The first (nonsmoking) room smelled like smoke. The second was fine. Clean & comfortable. Hotel could use some updates, no USB ports in the room. Overall ok... for the weekend.

The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was really in need of an upgrade. Lots of worn spots, dim lighting, and just "tired" looking. Of course, Tunica has lost 6 casinos in recent years, so not much of an incentive for the business to invest money.

I guess it goes without saying the smoke smell and actual cigarette smoke was not super pleasant. There was a chair in our room that had multiple stains on it. There was no shower gel. Other than that, we slept well and enjoyed the atmosphere of the resort, especially the band playing in the casino.

At first sight, I was very impressed by the nice and simple look of the hotel, even thought it was a little small. After further observations, I noticed that we were not given a microwave, but to be fair we were not promised one. Still a little disappointed. The hotel guest wifi was also lacking, as we couldn’t get a hold of the wifi for more than a few minutes or even seconds before it gave up and came back randomly for short periods. Overall I would say the hotel is very simple and nice, but lacks in some things that may be considered necessities to many.

WIFI DID NOT WORK!! Coffee pot did not work. Room was comfortable and bed fantastic but really need to address the WiFi situation. Multiple requests for help were very unsatisfactory.

I was given a key to an occupied room. I walked in there was a dog sitting in the chair looking at me as I was walking in the room. The bed was unmade as if someone had been laying in the bed already and the television was on. I went back down to guest service, they were as shocked as I was and the manager and another person went to the room and found just as described. I was given another room and an apology but was expecting so much more.

Spent 3 nights at the Hollywood; staff were nice, casino was okay (not enough varieties of Keno!), and overall, a nice stay. Weather wasn't great, so we spent more time in the casino and hotel room, but that was just fine.

First room we were given had ac problems. Service guy never responded. On my fourth trip down to the front desk, we were finally put into a different room. Some friendly staff members, others not so much. I've stayed there several times over the years and never had a problem. Bartenders were pleasant and on the ball. I will probably select a different casino/hotel on my next trip down.

Staff was not helpful or friendly. Room smelled like cigarettes. Was never given the option of a smoke free room. Check in took too long. Could not get a luggage cart without leaving a DL at the desk, had to have room key to use elevator and then the card wouldn’t work sometimes. Not enough towels for the room occupancy. Asked for towels multiple times then did not receive them until a day and half later. No room service…phone in room did not work. No housekeeping service during your stay.

The staff was unfortunately very unhelpful. I have booked the room for two nights. My wife and I went downstairs to gamble and was locked out of our room. When I question the staff they told me that I only put the room for one night and they don't make mistakes. It was a big ordeal to prove I had paid for two nights stay. No apology just here is your key

The room was excellent and the casino very nice, the surrounding area is not very populated, there is nothing around so you have to drive a good bit to eat. The casino only had one restaurant open and it closed at 10:00. They accept pets and that is so great!

The hotel stayed was good ! Service was good . My husband and I were very disappointed with the parking lot it looks like it to us that maybe there party outside and leave all the trash or homeless people hang out there ..

Room was clean with comfortable beds. Hotel was dated and had very limited food choices, very limited. No housekeeping was done on the room over the four days and we had to request towels each day. We did have an issue with the bathroom flooding and Sean at the desk was very helpful and professional (she did a nice job for us).

My husband and I had a wonderful time! Everytime was clean and smelled to reflect. The steakhouse offered what was probably one of the best dinners we've had in a long time! The only complaints either of could possibly have is the water pressure in the shower was a bit low and the bed was just a bit too firm for our liking.

Weirdest casino I’ve ever been in, in my life… Went to gamble and watch band at the stage bar. Band played until midnight, but the bar shuts down at 11:00… What sense does that make??? Can’t get anything to eat anywhere in casino after midnight… No wonder no one was there!! Won’t be going back. Gold Strike and Horseshoe are much better and more accommodating!!

Hotel personnel very friendly and helpful.The food at the limited dining at Hollywood Hotel was very good.Tunica area has some area hotel casinos closed and abandoned looking eire.The town Tunica does have a Nice Churches Chicken,Sonic and Wendy’s in the area.Casinos on weekends have their main restaurants open,not during week.

The hotel was nice,clean ,the hair dryer didn't work, but the beds were very comfortable,but the casino was very disappointing,there are no restaurants open during the week, not coffee shop or no snack bars,we had to drive about 6 miles to the only restaurant in town to eat,we will never go back to the Hollywood casino, we were told that the Gold strike and horseshoe casinos were still very nice,we did visit the horseshoe casinos on the way out,it was really nice,we may go back there again,but not The Hollywood

Dirty rooms, peeling wallpaper, and missing tiles in the bathroom. The restaurant they had was horrible. I could understand paying the price if the food wasnt pre cooked sitting under a heating lamp. My husbands chicken fried steak had been sitting out for quite some time because it was like leather. Roulette tables were only open one night. We ended up going to a different place to eat and play.

The hotel rooms need updating. There is literally no where to eat. The little eating place that was open had very poor tasting food. We cut our trip short due to no restaurants in the area.

I used this facility for a quick Saturday night stay during the King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena, Arkansas. Hotels.com said that the hotel was 22 miles from Helena; it was actually 45 miles from Helena. The facility itself was a hotel appended to a large casino; the "hotel-ness" of the hotel was, to put it mildly, overwhelmed by the casino. It was a long walk from the front desk to the elevators and a long walk from the elevators on my level to my room at the end of a very long hall. The halls were clean and well-lit. The room itself was very clean and seemed recently upgraded. (Some reviews led me to worry about this, but there was no problem at all.) The sheets and towels were superb. The hotel and its environs seemed perfectly safe. The wireless internet was non-functioning for the duration of my short stay. So: very good, in general, but with a couple of quirks.

Unlike some of the other places around there they actually had amenities like coffee pot fridge for us to use. I wish we would have known that the place was under construction cuz we were looking forward to using the pool and we're not able to. The staff was nice of course our luck was not so great there never is but hey I'm still going over all good experience

Me and my fiancé had a great time for his birthday weekend :) awesome DJ and friendly (for the most part) staff. Quick with drinks. Our room was very clean and comfortable.
