Gehobeneres, etwas älteres Hotel mit schöner Aussicht im 3. Stock. Wir hatten ein grosses 2-Bettzimmer mit Bad mit genügend Abstellflächen, Tee/Kaffee und bequeme Betten. Wir konnten den Hotelpool, Wirlpool und das Fitnesscenter mitbenützen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig. Das Hotel ist gut erreichbar mit vielen Parkplätzen.

Overall this is a nice hotel with a nice comfy room. The bed was comfy and the food in the restaurant was nice. There were some cleanliness issues in the bathroom round the shower cubicle and some dirty stains on the chair. The biggest complaint was service. where it wasnt bad, no one smiled. No one! Not reception, bar etc. Even the restaurant manager looked miserable. The only person who smiled was the receptionist who checked me out Service people! That alone would stop me coming back as I just didnt feel welcome.

The hotel is a comfortable place to stay and the service and cleanliness was excellent, especially we found the housekeeping staff extremely helpful and kept our room spotless. However the noise from the road was constant and due to the heat we could not close the window even though we were happily provided with a good fan to help the situation. There is a big improvement with the staff who put themselves out to help, from the time we stayed there a few years ago.

Restaurant staff very friendly and welcoming. Very helpful and quick response to query about lost property two days after check out. Dining menu very limited. Pretty standard pub type food. (Better options and quality at a pub/restaurant in Charleville 15 mins walk up the road.) Bedroom and ensuite bathroom large, comfortable and clean but very hot and no air con. Very noisy kitchen extraction fans when the window was opened (turned off c11.30pm but started up again c6.00 am). This was for a room at the back. Rooms at the front might be better but face the main road. Didn't use pool or gym facilities on site so can't comment.

Bedrooms need updating. Stains on the carpet and chair in our bedroom. The mattress definitely felt like it hadn’t been replaced in years . Breakfast staff very nice and helpful

We might have had high expectations about this hotel, because it has 4 * . The reception and restaurant looked good and upgraded, but the room...not so good. It might have been sometimes back in the 90'. The room we got was on the front side and it was very noisy. The main noise was from traffic. When we first arrived we went down to the reception to get another room, but the girl in the reception told us that changing to the other side will be worse because of the kitchenfan. The location is suited if you have a car and enjoy driving around the Irish countryside which is lovely.

The property is run down and needs a renovation. The room had limited supplies, the safe was broken and TV difficult to use. Lunch was very disappointing, soup was cold and toasted sandwich tasted terrible. Salad was stale and inedible.

Very warm welcome when we arrived. When we went to our room it was an accessible room. The shower had no screen or curtain so the water went all over the floor creating a slip risk. Room was ok but carpet and curtains were a little shabby.

Great staff, from "Snow"'s welcome to Clodagh's farewell we felt valued and cared for - special. The hotel is well appointed, and well positioned for tours of Cork, Kerry and the Midlands. Good food. Comfortable. We'd definitely stay again, which is the best review, surely?

We stayed for a night, came in kinda late but Bridget at the front desk was so welcoming and kind. We were starving and she made sure we could still get room service since the restaurant was closed already. The gentleman who brought our food, even called a little after to check in to see how our meal was and if needed anything else! This was above and beyond! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
