7 1/2 Acre Estate, Awesome Farm House with Heated Pool, Hot tub, Fishing Pond

Very unique house nice to have the pool because it was so hot . Our grandchildren enjoyed the fishing and our dog had lots of place to walk. Had a great time thinking about staying there next summer if we get together again. Even the pool was very clean and the kids had fun fishing. Close to the main roads so the kids could drive back to Milwaukee for work . Very pleased with our choice of this beautiful place!

We stayed here for the weekend and it was wonderful! The kids loved the playset outside and the game room! Definitely would recommend to other groups and families.

We spent several days at the Retreat over the 4th of July. What a perfect property with so much to do! From the inground pool to the fish-stocked pond to the volleyball net to the game room, there are so many activities for everyone. And our dogs loved the opportunity to run through the manicured seven acres! Would stay again.

Me and girlies all had a fantastic stay at "the retreat" The space was amazing for a large group. Communication was open, easy, and friendly. The hosts accommodated our needs for extra tables as well. I definitely see us renting this space again in the warmer months because the property was beautiful and also had a lot of outdoor features. I want to move in. We had 13 guys for a bachelor retreat and this place was perfect. Plenty of room for us all and plenty to do. We expected to spend plenty of time exploring Milwaukee, but found ourselves hanging out at the pool or fishing in the pond when we weren’t relaxing in the game room. 10/10 would recommend!

Me and 9 of my friends rented this space it was very affordable for all the amenities that it came with. Robert was very responsive to messaging before and during our stay. The property is huge and built for all kinds of activities. Can’t wait to book again!

We just got home from a WONDERFUL long weekend at this 7 ½ Acre Estate! Our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out. The turntable on the dining table was great for games and had plenty of light over the table. If we had cooked, the kitchen looked well appointed and the second fridge on the porch was handy for drinks. There were plenty of extra linens if you wanted to use a pull-out bed. There is a door that allows the first floor bedroom and bathroom to act as a suite, which we did for overnight.The boys enjoyed the paddleboards, but we were too busy out and about in the area to enjoy the paddleboat or kayak. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a day of hiking and exploring.Very convenient location. Milwaukee, gas, groceries, and restaurants all reasonably close.

There were a lot of things to keep kids busy from the fishing pond and pool to the game room and yard activities. We stayed during some very hot weather so the upstairs and game room were rather warm, but there were several floor fans to help. Robert was very good about communication throughout the trip.

Our family had a wonderful time to celebrate our grandaughter's graduation. Everyone fished, paddled around on the pond, played cards, relaxed in the hot tub, enjoyed an outdoor fire, let the dog run in the wonderful large yard, relaxed in swings... a great time. There is plenty of room in the house for people to be close together or have quiet time in a secluded corner. This couldn't have been a better spot for us.

I stayed at The Retreat with my family - 6 young adult kids, my parents, my brother + familly - for a long weekend. We gathered with other extended family in the area for a family reunion. Highlights: 1. The owner is very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. 2. The property is AMAZING! Honestly the pictures don't do it justice. Lots of room for yard games, fire pit, fishing, stand up paddle boards, peddle boat, row boat, the pool... It was so perfect for us! The grounds were so well cared for and absolutely beautiful. 3. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking/serving items. We fed a crowd of nearly 40 all day every day we were there and it had everything we needed. Also 2nd fridge in the sunroom was perfect as a beverage fridge. 4. The game room was a hit! We had a lively ping pong battle all weekend. 5. Plenty of space inside! Thankfully the weather cooperated for us but we could have easily moved indoors 6. Plenty of outdoor seating - chairs, tables, pop up shade tents! Fantastic! 7. Plenty of towels and linens and having washer/dryer with the pool especially was awesome Drawbacks: 1. The house is dated. This is not a big deal to us, but it is what it is. Could use updating. We gather for family reunions regularly and with quite a bit of family in this area I could absolutely see renting this space again! It was fantastic!! The owner was awesome to work with. Convenient location near the interstate but not loud. Soooo many great things!

This place was great, we used the hot tub a few times despite the cold weather. The rooms were comfy, and the backyard was great to sledding. The double living room was cool and the couches were comfy. Plenty of room for our kids to run around and play!There was a little bit of the weird smell around the showers, but I assume that was because the house is on a septic tank.

The house and property were great. There were six of us and we had plenty of room. We thrive outdoors and there was everything we could have wanted to do out there. There is a lot of traffic noise and airplanes, but you get used to it pretty quickly. You are within 20-30 minutes or so many fun things to do, as well!

I stayed at The Retreat for a combined bachelor/bachelorette weekend with my fiancée and a group of our friends. It was an excellent place to unwind and spend time together. We were annoyed at times by the noise from the freeway nearby and the airplanes overhead but the multitude of amenities available at the house and the great communication (and signage) from the host, Robert more than made up for the noise. 10/10 would return and recommend to others. Thanks again, Robert!

It was a great little place, close to everything but tucked away from everyone. It has everything u need for a quick fun filled getaway. The owner was a great host, he was quick to answer all questions we had prior to booking and was just as swift to answer after we confirmed. It was truly an all in 1 fun place to be with the family. If it wasn't for the desire to visit the zoo, we would have remained on property. I thank the owner for creating such a sweet little oasis!

This place is a great venue for a family or friends gathering. For us not what we hoped for. We were looking for privacy and nature. Daily maintenance of property and pool required daily texts with owner who tried to be very considerate but still had a ton to do before opening for summer guests. Place is great for groups.

This is the second time we stayed at The Retreat. LOTS of space inside and out for our family to gather. Kids age 3-10 could not get enough of the heated pool and the adults especially enjoyed the hot tub. We added an 'exrra' and had a small family reunion one of the afternoons and the place was perfect for this. Game room such a bonus when it rained. We didn't need to leave the property but some checked out 7 Mile Fair. Communication with the owner was timely. I'm sure the family will vote to return to The Retreat in the future!

Beautiful property in very close proximity to Chicago. Everyone enjoyed it from my parent to my teenager son. The property has a very Nice pool, a lot of space in the house with gaming room. Highly recommended!
