Location was great, right next a metro stop & grocery store. Secure wifi, linens, towels and basic breakfast with tea/coffee included. It's on a main street but there's a secure door to get in. It's an older building, but everything is clean & maintained.

I knew I was staying in a dive of a hotel, which I like. Parking was behind the hotel and cheap. Staff were great. Room, bedsheets, and bathroom were all clean. Lock on door was flimsy but I had nothing of value to steal. Would stay again if in the area and needed a quick over nighter. Coffee and muffin in the morning a nice bonus.

On the positive side, the hotel is located very close to a metro station, is close to many dining options in addition to being close to shopping. Rooms are clean, come complete with a fridge and my bed was very comfortable. Staff are friendly and fully bilingual. This is not a good choice for anyone with mobility issues or has trouble negotiating stairs. Breakfast is included but the selection is extremely limited. You may be better off getting your coffee and muffin elsewhere.

L'hôtel est décevant... il est situé dans un quartier où malheureusement beaucoup de sans abris son dans la rue et certains alcooliques et drogués... la nuit, 5 personnes alcoolique et/ou drogués sont rentrés demander une chambre, ont leur a dit de repasser demain... (ma chambre était juste à côté de l'accueil j'entendais tout) La chambre : moquette sale, trouée et tâchée de je ne sais quoi. La couette trouée à la cigarette et tâchée de sécrétion biologique (salive, sang, urine ?) Des cheveux se trouvaient dans les draps. La salle de bain et les wc n'étaient pas bien nettoyés... les meubles étaient collants bref un hôtel honteux vraiment...

It was super messy and dirty. The sheets were clearly not washed and it was very noisy on the street pretty much the entire night. I understand that you get what you pay for but I’m just warning others. I would not recommend anyone to book here if they value cleanliness. It also smelt very bad throughout the entire building.

It was ok, didn’t feel too secure because the locks weren’t great. Location was good, room itself was fine. You get what you pay for, wouldn’t stay for more than a couple nights.

It is an older property and it shows. The deadbolt on the door to the room was missing, the bed linens showed burn marks, and the corridors smelled a bit stale. The breakfast consisted of muffins, croissant and coffee. It was adequate and conveniently located, but a little run down.

Although the room was small and compact, this was exactly what we were looking for, just to spend the night in a clean and small place and spend the day exploring the city. Very dated and musty but room was clean and bed was comfortable. Brought earplugs as windows are old and you can hear lots from outside, No deadbolt on our door which made it feel not as secure as it should, doors don't seal with lots of light and noise from the hall come in.

I regret booking this hotel. I should have checked the location better as it is in a very run down part of the Gay Village of Montreal and not at all what I wanted. The hotel was up a flight of stairs that made me uneasy just getting past the gruff man leaning across the entrance to the hotel. Even the taxi driver wasn't sure I should be there. Within 5 minutes of getting the room I left. I lost the money for the nights I booked but decided my safety and cleanliness were more important. I went across town to near McGill University and stayed in a clean safe apartment. Lesson learned. Don't use this hotel.

Very depressing hotel, rooms in desperate need of a good clean and general upgrade, phone bedside lights not working, often towels not replaced and breakfast was a disgrace.

Location was great, right next a metro stop & grocery store. Secure wifi, linens, towels and basic breakfast with tea/coffee included. It's on a main street but there's a secure door to get in. It's an older building, but everything is clean & maintained.

I knew I was staying in a dive of a hotel, which I like. Parking was behind the hotel and cheap. Staff were great. Room, bedsheets, and bathroom were all clean. Lock on door was flimsy but I had nothing of value to steal. Would stay again if in the area and needed a quick over nighter. Coffee and muffin in the morning a nice bonus.

Quality = Price. It was an excellent place to rest our heads at night. They provide a cost o breakfast with juice and coffee. Easy access with your key. It was a great little place if you keep your expectations low. It was not the Hilton, but I would definitely stay there again.

It is an older property and it shows. The deadbolt on the door to the room was missing, the bed linens showed burn marks, and the corridors smelled a bit stale. The breakfast consisted of muffins, croissant and coffee. It was adequate and conveniently located, but a little run down.

This is a good option for a budget, short-term stay. It is an older property so people should adjust their expectations before staying here. On the positive side, the hotel is located very close to a metro station, is close to many dining options in addition to being close to shopping. Rooms are clean, come complete with a fridge and my bed was very comfortable. Staff are friendly and fully bilingual. This is not a good choice for anyone with mobility issues or has trouble negotiating stairs. Breakfast is included but the selection is extremely limited. You may be better off getting your coffee and muffin elsewhere.

Homeless gathering around the entrance to the hotel. Raggedy carpeting throughout the entire “hotel.” No breakfast provided. Cable TV off and on. I would not stay here if it were free.

It is a hotel that is very much a "you get what you pay for". The staff was friendly, so no complaints there. Because the hotel is (probably) around a hundred years old, modern upgrades aren't possible. The rooms are small, but the bathrooms are even smaller! If you are 250 pounds or more, then I cannot recommend this hotel as trying to use the toilet would be awkward. There is also no elevator, so be prepared to lug your bags up and down the stairs! The A/C works well and is much needed on summer days. The Wi-Fi works well too. The hotel location is great though and near a couple of Metro stations on Saint Catherine.

The place was okay, I didn’t really like how old the place and room was. It’s not that clean but it does the job. I wouldn’t go back stay again second time. I couldn’t even sleep because the room didn’t feel that good
