Slow check-in with some confusion by the desk attendant, sheets had a stain on them, a lightbulb was missing on the bedside lamp, the room smelled funny, the parking lot was filled with bass boats along with trucks leaving no parking for other guests

Room was clean and recently updated. Bed very comfortable. Location great - right off I-40. Easy access. Front desk pleasant. There was grassy areas and sidewalk to walk my dog. Not much around as far as food. Comfortable restful stay. Breakfast nothing spectacular.

Check in is awesome. The lobby/eatting area is decorated as if you are walking into someones home, it is adorable. The eatting area is set up as if you were in a private dining room, a long table with a tablecloth and plates set out. The room itself was very clean. The hotel is right off 40 yet not on a busy street and is very quiet. If you are traveling thru Knoxville i would recommend driving a little out of town and staying here.

The Super 8 is very well managed and their manager has decorated the main office as if you feel like home, when you enter into their breakfast area. Good positive signs are on the wall, nice TV that keeps you updated with the weather and traffic conditions early morning while having your breakfast. The staff is very welcome and make you feel home.

The gentleman at the desk was nice. However, the room I was in was really gross, dirty and no lights were on to enter the room. There was hair in the tub. Loose/stuck on crumb type material on the floor and on the bottom skirt of the first bed (in between he beds). THICK dust/dirt all over the room. (I actually washed down everything myself). I phoned the office to report how bad the room was, he just said he would tell housekeeping!!! NOTHING ELSE! I ACTUALLY FELT BAD FOR MY SERVICE DOG FIR HAVING TO STAY IN SUCH A DIRTY, NOISY and UNKEPT PLACE! That’s pretty bad. They offer breakfast… NO WAY WOULD I FEEL COMFORTABLE EATING ANYTHING AT THIS MOTEL! THEY SHOULD BE PAYING PEOPLE TO STAY HERE, rather than CHARGING THEM!

The room smelled like mold, there was mold around the tub and tile. You can tell the housekeeping staff didn't clean it . The General Manager made me wait to address my concerns with room keys and his stupid dog was barking at me the whole time. I have dogs but don't bring them to work. The young lady who worked during the day , her customer service was outstanding. She needs to be running the hotel.

We had a non smoking handicap room that had a dirty broken toilet seat. It had been smoked in(I am asthmatic) and had issues from it. There was actually mold & mildew on the ceiling. Another issue with having asthma. The room was damp to the point where our items and clothing got wet, even our meds in pill containers. The microwave had food stuck to the inside top. Breakfast, another story. I would really think that as a spokesperson for motel, you would check into it. Makes you look real bad. The ONLY GOOD, the shower was clean with great water pressure. The bed was clean (but damp) and mattress comfortable. The rug was so dirty, you couldn’t walk to the bathroom from bed without washing your feet before getting back in. Will NEVER get a room again this way. We run an AIRBNB and would NEVER put our place up for customers like this was. We get between $200. & $300. a night depending on season. It’s 11 rooms. We are Totally disgusted.

When I arrived my room had no towels and the volume on the TV was not working. I went to the front desk to let them know and they said that I will have to wait an hour to get towels and have someone look at my tip TV because that’s when management will be in, the front desk clerks are not allowed to issue out any towels to the guest. 30 minutes before check out someone knocked on the door, stating they were housekeeping. They wanted to know when I will be checking out of the room. 20 minutes later I get another knock on the door asking if I was going to stay an extra day. I felt like they were rushing me to get out there. This place also has bedbugs!!! do not, I repeat, DO NOT stay here! Otherwise you will have unwanted critter guests traveling with you back home.

Upon pulling into the parking lot, I could tell this was a better kept Super 8. Reception room was very nice, as well as the front desk fella. Room was super clean, and we'll organized. If I had any complaints, it would be that the heater didn't work properly (28° outside), and couldn't get it above, I'd say 58°. Also, had to repair the toilet. Handle came off and flapper chain wasn't adjusted right. No biggie as we had blankets, and I'm a contractor haha. Would definitely stay here again though.

Great staff, Amanda was especially helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, the only negative was the lights were continually dimming and flickering. The fan in the bathroom would slow way down as well. I was told it does that all the time, and it was nothing to be concerned about.

If you’re on a budget it is ok. Toilet flushes only if you hold it for the entire cycle. Lights flicker, more electricity you use, more often it happens. Breakfast is pre packaged stuff, cereal bananas and old looking apples. Very minimal. Older motel but if you’re just going to sleep, price is fine

The proprietors are doing the best they can here. It’s an old motel. The rooms are basic, but clean, and the beds comfortable. The area felt sketchy. At 2 am there was a crazy man out on the street screaming angrily at who knows what. This went on long enough for me to look up the phone number of the Kingston PD, but gradually he passed. I would not recommend it unless you’re desperate.

My issue was the smell of weed in the office, a little dog barking at me in the office. Getting locked out of my room because the keys stop working and no one in the office. Called the number and no answer. Had to wait for the lady to come back and make me a new key. They need to fix or update their keys since there is no one on property after midnight.

Good stay other than no staff available from 10pm till 6am no emergency contact number to call… I locked myself out of room during that time and was not able to contact anyone so had to stay in the car from 12 am till 6am and then get on road for a 10 hour drive

My bad, I booked a smoking room. We went to take showers and had only one bath towel and one hand towel,no face cloth. The next morning told the front desk we needed towels and never got them. Asked again in the afternoon and no response. Asked the lady going by our room with towels and did not get them.. Poor service. Avoid!

It was decent, fairly clean. The staff was on the rude side and I chose my check out time to be 11:00 am and at 10:00 a man just walked right in which I didn’t appreciate at all. Also there was no phone in the room which was somewhat inconvenient.

Being next to busy hwy I thought it would be loud but it’s tucked away just far enough not to be bothered by road noise… Very welcoming feeling home away from home cozy…. Only one complaint and that’s personal preference the beds are HARD….

We liked that it was close to the water and we spent a lot of time along the lake. We liked that there was fast food nearby and a good breakfast so we didn't have to get back on the road. The staff was always helpful and friendly, and the rooms were clean and mostly updated. The only downside: our toilet would not flush. The office staff gave us a plunger but we needed it every time. Please get a plumber in so other guests will have near-perfect experiences. Oh, another plus were the cheery signs in the lobby and the living room like, cozy feel. Very inviting--Couch, chair, etc. Thank you for wlecoming us to Kingston (a town we lived in for 30 years but had to move from 16 years ago when we retired.)

Great hotel for a quick stay. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Kids really loved the breakfast which was mainly different types of snack cakes. But there was also yogurt, bagels, breads, cereal, some fruit, and even waffles on the weekends.

The room had old carpet that was coming apart at entrance tile in sink area. The phone did not work - no dial tone. Was told it had been this way for a long time & that management was notified and did nothing to correct problem. Asked employee to help me with the tv remote- he was very helpful. No soap at sink or on bath tub - had to ask at front desk. 1/2 roll of toilet paper, no spare role. Breakfast: not many options. When coffee gone (gone before 8 am) was told to use single serve coffee machine. Minimal napkins. Nice staff - not given tools to do better job.

Was fairly clean. The TV had apps - but none worked more than literally 1min. The morning cleaning staff were rude and meddled outside of door to hurry you out before check out time. There was no waffle maker or kuerig as advertised
