We had a nice two night stay in Aloft Tempe. I would call the hotel basic plus but the plus’ make the stay worth it. The staff at the hotel were great starting with the airport shuttle driver Drew who gave us a fairly thorough verbal tour of the surrounding area on the way to the hotel which gave us plenty of ideas. The front desk staff, bartender, right down to the maintenance crew were friendly. Room and hotel amenities basic but good and clean. We used the small pool, gym, and felt comfortable in the room. Walking distance (within 5 minutes) you have Mile High Brewery, In N Out, Starbucks, Monroe’s Hot Chicken, Sweet Republic, QWENCH, and numerous other spots we didn’t try. You are also next to trails along the river and a 20 minute walk across the bridge to ASU Campus and the moderate level hike up Hayden Butte. Plenty more nearby if you are driving. We heard about the noise complaints but I feel like you’d have to be a light sleeper for this to be an issue. You are under the flight path of the airport and adjacent a freeway (which we faced) but we had no issue getting to sleep and staying asleep. Overall, would recommend and would go back to stay

They need to clean the outside tables off. Doesn't look like they have been cleaned for months. Turn on the fire pit at night. The pool was a little murky one of the days, probably from excess sun tan lotion. Car chargers are often taken, presumably by non guests. Aside from that, everything was great. Beds were super comfy, friendly staff at the front desk.

The hotel was in a convenient location for me. Easy access to restaurants and bars. You must pay for parking separate. It is about $10 a day. The airport is loud and you can hear neighbors. I’ve stayed in better places for the same price. But it was alright.

This hotel was mostly fine, but I don’t know if I would stay here again. The bed was comfortable and I liked that we were able to stream movies from the tv. However, our room faced the 202 and the traffic noise was extremely loud, even with ear plugs in. I wish they had invested in higher quality windows to block out the sound. There were also weird smells coming from the AC/heating unit. When the AC was on it smelled musty and when the heat was on it smelled like glue. The staff was nice though. Perhaps a different room would make for a better stay, but I don’t know that I want to risk it.

By far the worst Aloft location I’ve stayed at. 1. Noise Levels – The building has absolutely no soundproofing. I could hear conversations from inside and outside (third floor) as if they were in my room. The street noise was unbearable—cars racing by made it feel like I was sleeping at a racetrack. It was impossible to get any real rest. 2. Parking – Parking is managed by a third-party system located on the opposite side of the building. Inconvenient and frustrating, especially when you’re already dealing with a poor stay. 3. Bathroom Layout – The restroom setup is not guest-friendly. The sink is ridiculously small (think fishbowl), and there’s barely any space for two people to get ready at the same time. The only redeeming quality? The bed—very comfortable. Unfortunately, I couldn’t enjoy it because of the constant noise. And the worst part? I’m booked for three more nights… UGH

Everything was excellent except for two things: 1) the coffee in the room was awful. 2) the noise from the freeway was constant and so became white noise But then would amp up to wake up levels when a motorcycle would race by. And there were at least five or more of them every night. Get an even numbered room

I’ve stayed here multiple times and never disappointed. My last time I left something in my room and it was found. The front desk staff had me email them a shipping label and they packaged it up. I had it in my hands within a week. Great customer service. As always.

I stayed here my last two business trips, and both trips were very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lorenza at the front desk was always friendly and helpful, and even remembered me from my first trip weeks earlier. Great place to stay when in Tempe.

After checking in, hopped in the shower to wash off the road grime only to have hotel maintenance/housekeeping try and enter my room. If the bar lock wasn't engaged they would have walked right in.

Pretty clean, comfy room, it's nice to have a coffee maker, ironing board, and microwave in the room, no need to call for extra shampoo or conditioner etc because they give plenty. Super convenient spot, walking distance to the concert venue at tempe lake and plenty of food options. 😀

Great little hotel centrally located in tempe.. ready to quickly get a ride shate to many great restaurants. Only thing is it is close to the airport and the freeway so there is some noise from air and car traffic but did not bother me at all

The hotel was in a convenient location for me. Easy access to restaurants and bars. You must pay for parking separate. It is about $10 a day. The airport is loud and you can hear neighbors. I’ve stayed in better places for the same price. But it was alright.

Suppose to have breakfast for 2 and paid extra for it and did not have it. Stated due to holiday but in the hospitality business this was a poor excuse. The coffee was beyond disgusting and the people working there were less than empathetic.

Tempe ALoft is okay with its somewhat minimalist IKEA type decor. My 1st room on check in had problems ie., missing thermostat, phone didn't work and room safe was missing. Front desk worked to get the room safe installed but still no working phone or thermostat. Front desk kindly moved me to a second room,where the phone also didn't work nor did the room safe. All in all it was a pretty good 3-night stay. Grab 'n Go bkfst was okay. It's kind of a "trendy" place close to ASU campus. Good shower.

Everything was excellent except for two things: 1) the coffee in the room was awful. 2) the noise from the freeway was constant and so became white noise But then would amp up to wake up levels when a motorcycle would race by. And there were at least five or more of them every night. Get an even numbered room

Hotel was nice enough ... not a lot to do at/near the hotel (restaurants, bars, etc) and no food served on the property was a detractor ... gym was pretty weak too ... but for a college/sports hotel, not shabby ... overpriced and ended up getting charged above and beyond what Expedia charged me

There was no ice machines. I get there was complimentary ice after I walked on the floors to find ice. Not convenient and, was not mentioned when checked in. Then I asked about the Fitness center oh that is under renovations. Again not mentioned when I check in. Then I asked about a YMCA close by and they didn't know. So I found that out. Then the pool was closed and no optional pool to go to. WOW! Not recommended. The pool was only open the 1 day of my stay and closed on the hottest and the Holiday. I will say the bar and Happy Hour was the only good thing.
