Modernes, sauberes Hotel mit besonderem Infinity Pool. Nettes Personal, guter Service. Meerwasser ist Super, kleiner sehr sauberer Strand mit Kies. Strandbar mit sehr nettem Personal. Lage ist etwas abgelegen, dadurch sehr ruhig. Die Hotelanlage liegt am Steilhang, dadurch sehr gute Aussicht von vielen Punkten, aber auch viele Stufen zu überwinden. Bus Transfer nach Kos City ist möglich.

The property was excellent, very open and designed to allow you to enjoy being outside. The staff were very accommodating as well, and the main buffet had selections that were varied for most tastes. The all inclusive selection was worth the expense, as there were few items that required extra fees. They have many pools, and a private beach area. The beach is not sandy, but small stones, but they are not hard to walk on. I would suggest “aqua socks” if you plan on using the beach. The water is very clean, and they have a beachside bar, as the beach is down the hill from the main hotel, which is a little walk. The only downside at the beach is that there is no “changing room” to change out of your wet swim wear. All in all we would go back, and enjoy this beautiful property again.

Très bon séjour, super accueil de la part du personnel, très bon buffet et petit déjeuner. L’hôtel est incroyable avec son immense piscine et sa plage privée. Dommage que le spa ne soit pas inclus. Sinon le cadre est magnifique, pas très loin en voiture du centre et de thermal Beach.

The staff are great, the hotel is nicely maintained, the pools and beach area well maintained. We had an issue with the bed, which was supposed to be a King size bed, but was instead two twins side by side. Spoke with the staff about making a change to the mattress, but unfortunately were unsuccessful in making it happen. Once manager found out about the issue, he was very apologetic, and offered to move us, but as it was our last day, we decided to leave it alone. This was our second visit to the resort, the all inclusive aspect is very appealing, and the food is appealing and varied. Only other item I would mention is that they need a changing room at the beach to accommodate those who need to change their wet swimwear, without leaving the beach.

Allgemein hat uns das Hotel gut gefallen. Es sind gute 4 Sterne Plus. Das Personal im Restaurant könnte netter sein. Meer ist sehr klar und sauber, allerdings ist der Eingang nur mit schwimmschuhe durch die großen Steine zu empfehlen. Die Wege von Rezeption zum Meer sind ziemlich lang und steil. Man soll ziemlich sportlich sein.

Very nice hotel, majority of staff friendly and helpful, good rooms, amazing infinity pool. Beach area very tired and overlooked, needs new walkway, umbrellas and sunbeds, a total revamp. Main bar and evening area very open and if windy like a wind tunnel so can be quite chilly in the evenings, plus insufficient seating for the size of the hotel. Main restaurant not intimate, quite cafe feel rather than restaurant unless you manage to get seated in the slightly upper small middle section. Overall enjoyed our stay but lacking certain touches expected of a 5 star hotel.

Great location with a bus stopping outside and fantastic sea views. The only thing that let the hotel down was the rooms. It was windy and the wind blew through the rooms, meaning most of our party couldn't sleep. Housekeeping was also poor with soap/shampoo etc, not being replaced and the incorrect number of towels being left.

Excellent hotel! Elegant, clean and comfortable rooms. The infinity pool is stunning and the food is great. We just wanted to stay in the hotel the whole trip. I highly recommend this hotel.

Das Essen war gut, abwechslungsreich und hat uns geschmeckt. Die Atmosphäre im großen Speisesaal gleicht eher einer Kantine: langweilige Möbel, oft Durchzug, Servicepersonal aber nett. Abwechslung bringen die buchbaren Mahlzeiten im hoteleigenen Soya (asiatisch) und Mediterraneo. Unbedingt wahrnehmen! Die Matratze in unserem Standardzimmer mit Meerbrlick war viel zu hart und unbequem. Im Boxspringbett fehlte der Topper: Schmerzen an Hüfte und Schulter waren das Ergebnis. Nachfrage an der Rezeption, ob man mir mit einem Topper aushelfen könne: dort kannte man angeblich überhaupt keine Topper! Und das obwohl im Zimmer unserer Tochter (Suite) das Bett dort einen hatte. Wie kann das sein? Sehr schade! Bei dem Preis und dem Anspruch, ein 5-Sterne-Hotel zu sein, müsste das Standard sein oder bei Bedarf nachgeliefert werden. Insgesamt handelt es sich unserer Meinung nach nicht um ein 5-Sterne-Hotel, allenfalls 4 Sterne. Der Zimmerservice war oft lieblos und unzureichend (z.B. Nachtwäsche auf die Nachttische geworfen), das kennen wir anders. Das Wasser in allen Pools (auch im Babypool) war unfassbar kalt. So macht Schwimmen keinen Spaß, und auch der spektakuläre Anblick des großes Infinitypools kann das nicht wettmachen. Beim hoteleigenen Strand handelt es sich um ein ganz schmales Stück, übersät mit vielen großen und kleinen Steinen und dunklem Kies. Am Strand gibt es eine Strandbar, aber keine Toilette. Liegen am großen Pool stehen viel zu dicht u. sind oft reserviert :-(

Die Unterkunft bietet alles in allem die Möglichkeit einen sehr entspannten und angenehmen Urlaub zu verbringen. Der Pool ist wirklichein schöner Ort zum relaxen mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Die Zimmer sind so wie beschrieben, auch dort hatten wir eine super Aussicht. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und für Vegetarier gut geeignet. Der Empfang und der Großteil des Personals ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Meine Freundin hatte während des Aufenthaltes Geburtstag, und es gab sogar eine kleine Torte aufs Zimmer. Wenn man etwas genauer hinsieht, fallen hinter der Fassade einige Missstände auf, die in meinen Augen nichts mit 5 Sterne zutun haben. Das Wlan war überall extrem langsam und ist mehrmals pro Stunde abgebrochen. Eventuell ist das problem nur in der Nähe unseres Zimmers gewesen, dennoch sehr nervig, da es dort teilweise garnicht empfangbar war. Außerdem hatte der Fernseher im Schlafbereich anscheinend nur den Zweck zur Deko. Es war kein Smart TV und auch normales Fernsehen konnte man nicht empfangen. Anfangs fehlte auch die Fernbedienung für die klimaanlage und den TV, auf Nachfrage erhielten wir nur die TV Fernbedienung, die Klimaanlage konnten wir deshalb die ganze Woche nicht benutzen. Bei Essen ist das Personal oft überfordert und man wird gelegentlich vergessen, was die Getränke angeht. Die meisten Gerichte waren sehr fettig und erinnerten eher an Kantinenessen. Die Sportausrüstung für Tennis und Tischtennis ist sehr billig und in die Jahre gekommen.

Modernes, sauberes Hotel mit besonderem Infinity Pool. Nettes Personal, guter Service. Meerwasser ist Super, kleiner sehr sauberer Strand mit Kies. Strandbar mit sehr nettem Personal. Lage ist etwas abgelegen, dadurch sehr ruhig. Die Hotelanlage liegt am Steilhang, dadurch sehr gute Aussicht von vielen Punkten, aber auch viele Stufen zu überwinden. Bus Transfer nach Kos City ist möglich.

The staff are great, the hotel is nicely maintained, the pools and beach area well maintained. We had an issue with the bed, which was supposed to be a King size bed, but was instead two twins side by side. Spoke with the staff about making a change to the mattress, but unfortunately were unsuccessful in making it happen. Once manager found out about the issue, he was very apologetic, and offered to move us, but as it was our last day, we decided to leave it alone. This was our second visit to the resort, the all inclusive aspect is very appealing, and the food is appealing and varied. Only other item I would mention is that they need a changing room at the beach to accommodate those who need to change their wet swimwear, without leaving the beach.

See previous review I made. Due to airline issues, we had to book a night earlier but booked it separately. Essentially, great place, pool is worth it, views amazing. However, leaving the property can be difficult, the bus doesn’t run on some days and has limited hours others, WiFi in rooms isn’t always reliable (depends on the room), and don’t expect to get small change there for tipping. No one wants anything to do with large bills you get from an ATM but you will need to cash for transport so it’s a catch 22 Overall, it’s a nice place. Resort is great if you don’t intend to leave often and don’t mind accessing WiFi in public spaces (no zoom work meetings). I’d recommend it but better plan it around the bus schedule and look into renting a vehicle or moped

Die Matratze in unserem Standardzimmer mit Meerbrlick war viel zu hart und unbequem. Im Boxspringbett fehlte der Topper: Schmerzen an Hüfte und Schulter waren das Ergebnis. Nachfrage an der Rezeption, ob man mir mit einem Topper aushelfen könne: dort kannte man angeblich überhaupt keine Topper! Und das obwohl im Zimmer unserer Tochter (Suite) das Bett dort einen hatte. Wie kann das sein? Sehr schade! Bei dem Preis und dem Anspruch, ein 5-Sterne-Hotel zu sein, müsste das Standard sein oder bei Bedarf nachgeliefert werden. Die Unterkunft bietet alles in allem die Möglichkeit einen sehr entspannten und angenehmen Urlaub zu verbringen. Der Pool ist wirklichein schöner Ort zum relaxen mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Die Zimmer sind so wie beschrieben, auch dort hatten wir eine super Aussicht. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und für Vegetarier gut geeignet. Der Empfang und der Großteil des Personals ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Meine Freundin hatte während des Aufenthaltes Geburtstag, und es gab sogar eine kleine Torte aufs Zimmer. Wenn man etwas genauer hinsieht, fallen hinter der Fassade einige Missstände auf, die in meinen Augen nichts mit 5 Sterne zutun haben. Das Wlan war überall extrem langsam und ist mehrmals pro Stunde abgebrochen. Eventuell ist das problem nur in der Nähe unseres Zimmers gewesen, dennoch sehr nervig, da es dort teilweise garnicht empfangbar war. Außerdem hatte der Fernseher im Schlafbereich anscheinend nur den Zweck zur Deko. Es war kein Smart TV und auch normales Fernsehen konnte man nicht empfangen. Anfangs fehlte auch die Fernbedienung für die klimaanlage und den TV, auf Nachfrage erhielten wir nur die TV Fernbedienung, die Klimaanlage konnten wir deshalb die ganze Woche nicht benutzen. Bei Essen ist das Personal oft überfordert und man wird gelegentlich vergessen, was die Getränke angeht. Die meisten Gerichte waren sehr fettig und erinnerten eher an Kantinenessen. Die Sportausrüstung für Tennis und Tischtennis ist sehr billig und in die Jahre gekommen.

This is a perfect property for people who don’t intend to leave the resort or only go Kos town via the bus which has regular hours M-F, shortened hours on Sat, and no hours on Sunday. However, if you are the type that likes to explore, you’ll likely find that difficult here. Taxis are expensive and don’t like to take cards meaning you’ll need a lot of pocket change to travel around. The biggest issue was the inability to get smaller bills. We wanted to tip ppl but found ourselves stuck with larger bills of 10s, 20s, and 50s but no one would break them so we often couldn’t tip. We tended to tip our bartenders once a day of 10 and even once a 20 as a last resort. This is the biggest issue. Of course, you don’t need to tip but it feels wrong not to leave a euro or 2…except when you don’t have it. Overall, the resort is lovely with a wonderful staff! It’s just far from town, expensive to get taxis, and has no ability to break larger bills. Also, some of the rooms don’t have great WiFi so if you’re traveling Europe and relying on WiFi for phone connection, you’ll spend a fair amount of time in the lobby. Lastly, better rooms seem to be reserved for ppl who are booking longer stays

Hotel is a little dated, quiet location. 20mins to old town. Staff very happy and accommodating. We had a Seaview room with an amazing view. We paid for the all inclusive package, buffet, lunch and dinners, we stayed 3 nights and every day the food was changed. Whilst it was a buffet the quality of food was great for a buffet. We enjoyed our brief stay, too many great staff to single anyone out.

Teilweise eingebildet, teilweise unfreundlich, teilweise wurden wir in 3 Stunden nur einmal bedient. Zusätzlich ist das All Inklusive Angebot reinste abzocke. Kunden die keine All Inklusive haben, bekommen Getränke auf Flaschen oder Dose, All Inklusive Gäste kleine Gläser aus dem Zapfhahn. Das Mittagsbuffet ist lächerlich. Es gibt Snacks wie Hamburger, Chicken Nuggets, Pizza, diese kosten jedoch (auch für All Inklusive Gäste). Lieber nur Frühstück buchen und dafür abends in den Tavernen in der Stadt essen gehen (schmeckt auch besser).

For a 5 star rating, i was disappointed. The lack of quality overall from food, drinks and service was very poor. The staff seemed stressed always rushing around and no time to take care of the guests needs. Every breakfast, lunch and dinner, everyone struggled to get a table that was prepared for eating. It was either dirty or not set up. No direction where to sit. Once seated, they would walk past numerous times ignoring any requests. The sunbeds, there are signs posted, to prevent guests reserving them with towels but no one checks and it happens all the time. The Concierge was very unhelpful, as was the front desk, you felt like you were bothering them. I will not recommended this hotel and i wont be going back.

Michelangelo is a stunning hotel with incredible views of the Aegean Sea with Turkey and other Greek islands on the horizon. Service was amazing and variety of food at the buffet was very good. The al a carte restaurants were good but didn’t wow us. It is a similar standard of food you get in the buffet (that may also show how good the food is). I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very nice hotel, majority of staff friendly and helpful, good rooms, amazing infinity pool. Beach area very tired and overlooked, needs new walkway, umbrellas and sunbeds, a total revamp. Main bar and evening area very open and if windy like a wind tunnel so can be quite chilly in the evenings, plus insufficient seating for the size of the hotel. Main restaurant not intimate, quite cafe feel rather than restaurant unless you manage to get seated in the slightly upper small middle section. Overall enjoyed our stay but lacking certain touches expected of a 5 star hotel.

Great location with a bus stopping outside and fantastic sea views. The only thing that let the hotel down was the rooms. It was windy and the wind blew through the rooms, meaning most of our party couldn't sleep. Housekeeping was also poor with soap/shampoo etc, not being replaced and the incorrect number of towels being left.

Modernes, sauberes Hotel mit besonderem Infinity Pool. Nettes Personal, guter Service. Meerwasser ist Super, kleiner sehr sauberer Strand mit Kies. Strandbar mit sehr nettem Personal. Lage ist etwas abgelegen, dadurch sehr ruhig. Die Hotelanlage liegt am Steilhang, dadurch sehr gute Aussicht von vielen Punkten, aber auch viele Stufen zu überwinden. Bus Transfer nach Kos City ist möglich.

The property was excellent, very open and designed to allow you to enjoy being outside. The staff were very accommodating as well, and the main buffet had selections that were varied for most tastes. The all inclusive selection was worth the expense, as there were few items that required extra fees. They have many pools, and a private beach area. The beach is not sandy, but small stones, but they are not hard to walk on. I would suggest “aqua socks” if you plan on using the beach. The water is very clean, and they have a beachside bar, as the beach is down the hill from the main hotel, which is a little walk. The only downside at the beach is that there is no “changing room” to change out of your wet swim wear. All in all we would go back, and enjoy this beautiful property again.

See previous review I made. Due to airline issues, we had to book a night earlier but booked it separately. Essentially, great place, pool is worth it, views amazing. However, leaving the property can be difficult, the bus doesn’t run on some days and has limited hours others, WiFi in rooms isn’t always reliable (depends on the room), and don’t expect to get small change there for tipping. No one wants anything to do with large bills you get from an ATM but you will need to cash for transport so it’s a catch 22 Overall, it’s a nice place. Resort is great if you don’t intend to leave often and don’t mind accessing WiFi in public spaces (no zoom work meetings). I’d recommend it but better plan it around the bus schedule and look into renting a vehicle or moped

Allgemein hat uns das Hotel gut gefallen. Es sind gute 4 Sterne Plus. Das Personal im Restaurant könnte netter sein. This is a perfect property for people who don’t intend to leave the resort or only go Kos town via the bus which has regular hours M-F, shortened hours on Sat, and no hours on Sunday. However, if you are the type that likes to explore, you’ll likely find that difficult here. Taxis are expensive and don’t like to take cards meaning you’ll need a lot of pocket change to travel around. The biggest issue was the inability to get smaller bills. We wanted to tip ppl but found ourselves stuck with larger bills of 10s, 20s, and 50s but no one would break them so we often couldn’t tip. We tended to tip our bartenders once a day of 10 and even once a 20 as a last resort. This is the biggest issue. Of course, you don’t need to tip but it feels wrong not to leave a euro or 2…except when you don’t have it. Overall, the resort is lovely with a wonderful staff! It’s just far from town, expensive to get taxis, and has no ability to break larger bills. Also, some of the rooms don’t have great WiFi so if you’re traveling Europe and relying on WiFi for phone connection, you’ll spend a fair amount of time in the lobby. Lastly, better rooms seem to be reserved for ppl who are booking longer stays

Hotel is a little dated, quiet location. 20mins to old town. Staff very happy and accommodating. We had a Seaview room with an amazing view. We paid for the all inclusive package, buffet, lunch and dinners, we stayed 3 nights and every day the food was changed. Whilst it was a buffet the quality of food was great for a buffet. Kunden die keine All Inklusive haben, bekommen Getränke auf Flaschen oder Dose, All Inklusive Gäste kleine Gläser aus dem Zapfhahn. Das Mittagsbuffet ist lächerlich. Es gibt Snacks wie Hamburger, Chicken Nuggets, Pizza, diese kosten jedoch (auch für All Inklusive Gäste). Lieber nur Frühstück buchen und dafür abends in den Tavernen in der Stadt essen gehen (schmeckt auch besser).

Het eten was goed en zeer lekker. Jammer dat je een All-In hebt maar toch voor bruiswater moet betalen. De frisdranken zijn niet lekker wat niet kan voor een 5 sterren hotel. Ze worden gemaakt met een siroop!!! Tenzij je betaalt dan krijg je een flesje frisdrank aan 4€ De cocktails worden gemaakt met b- merken wat echt niet lekker is.

Michelangelo is a stunning hotel with incredible views of the Aegean Sea with Turkey and other Greek islands on the horizon. Service was amazing and variety of food at the buffet was very good. The al a carte restaurants were good but didn’t wow us. It is a similar standard of food you get in the buffet (that may also show how good the food is). I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Der Pool ist einzigartig, wobei ich das Meer immer bevorzuge. Personal war sehr freundlich, das Essen am Abend im Hauptrestaurant ist schwach es fehlen die Highlights und die Atmosphäre ist leider nicht so schön (sehr große Halle). Das Frühstück war top und man konnte draußen Frühstücken. Das Mediterrane Restaurant war super konnte aber nur einmal gebucht werden. Das Essen in der Stadt KOS 10 Minuten mit dem Bus ist jedenfalls romantischer und hat mehr flair.

Die Unterkunft bietet alles in allem die Möglichkeit einen sehr entspannten und angenehmen Urlaub zu verbringen. Der Pool ist wirklichein schöner Ort zum relaxen mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Die Zimmer sind so wie beschrieben, auch dort hatten wir eine super Aussicht. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und für Vegetarier gut geeignet. Der Empfang und der Großteil des Personals ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Meine Freundin hatte während des Aufenthaltes Geburtstag, und es gab sogar eine kleine Torte aufs Zimmer. Wenn man etwas genauer hinsieht, fallen hinter der Fassade einige Missstände auf, die in meinen Augen nichts mit 5 Sterne zutun haben. Das Wlan war überall extrem langsam und ist mehrmals pro Stunde abgebrochen. Eventuell ist das problem nur in der Nähe unseres Zimmers gewesen, dennoch sehr nervig, da es dort teilweise garnicht empfangbar war. Außerdem hatte der Fernseher im Schlafbereich anscheinend nur den Zweck zur Deko. Es war kein Smart TV und auch normales Fernsehen konnte man nicht empfangen. Anfangs fehlte auch die Fernbedienung für die klimaanlage und den TV, auf Nachfrage erhielten wir nur die TV Fernbedienung, die Klimaanlage konnten wir deshalb die ganze Woche nicht benutzen. Bei Essen ist das Personal oft überfordert und man wird gelegentlich vergessen, was die Getränke angeht. Die meisten Gerichte waren sehr fettig und erinnerten eher an Kantinenessen. Die Sportausrüstung für Tennis und Tischtennis ist sehr billig und in die Jahre gekommen.

Very nice hotel, majority of staff friendly and helpful, good rooms, amazing infinity pool. Beach area very tired and overlooked, needs new walkway, umbrellas and sunbeds, a total revamp. Main bar and evening area very open and if windy like a wind tunnel so can be quite chilly in the evenings, plus insufficient seating for the size of the hotel. Main restaurant not intimate, quite cafe feel rather than restaurant unless you manage to get seated in the slightly upper small middle section.
