The hotel itself is great, it is in a great location and the free entry to the pool across the road is great, however the breakfast was very repetitive with the only option for eggs was scrambled, no jam only marmalade, maybe a little more selection would have made the difference, the rooftop bar only served beers in cans and in the two evenings we went they had limited stock however the view from the rooftop is spectacular . The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We did not know much about the area and we were at first a little nervous about how far it would be. Absolutely everything was a wonderful surprise! It was so close and convenient to get around to all of the sightseeing spots. Sliema was a short walk, Valetta easily accesible by ferry. The staff were incredibly friendly. The pool both at the hotel and at the beach club were great, and there is a lot of great food and shopping nearby. For the price point i cannot recommend this place enough. I would skip the discounted breakfast though. If it were free and included it would be fine, but for not much more you can walk down to their Bookish Cafe and get a wonderful sandwhich and espresso. And the food was really just ok.

This was perfect hotel for us.Great location Easy to get to the ferry for Valletta and plenty of buses to other areas of the island. Lots of bars and restaurants all on your doorstep. Hotel gives you use of Aqua lana beach club which is just across the road, get a voucher from reception at hotel and you get towels over there. Breakfast buffet very good and also the hot tub on the roof terrace was great we used it at night as its open till 9 ock, great views. If i had to give a small criticism it would be The TV it would not stay on a channel,sometimes we like to put the news on to see what is going,but didn't matter really as we were out most of the time.

Lovely hotel well located on the seafront. Easy access to the beach club which was absolutely jam packed as it opens to all the public and not just hotel guests. Very noisy on the ground floor but upstairs you could manage to find a quiet spot. My only criticism was you were watched at all time and if you attempted to take a drink of water from your own water bottle the staff would spring immediately and scorn you as you had to buy water from them.

For the price, it was decent. But a few niggles- The pool in the photos (and my photos) is the nearby lido which you get free access to. It’s beautiful, but it’s a 5 min walk down the road not at the hotel which isn’t clear when viewing the hotel info online. The hotel ‘pool’ is more like hot tub size & rooftop terrace is tiny. I assume the air con is only seasonal, as mine could only be used in fan mode in November so didn’t cool the room at all. On the top floor my room was boiling and it was 22 degrees outside so not comfortable for sleeping without air con. That said, the rooms are very modern and spacious, the staff are brilliant and extremely helpful, the beds were comfy and the hotel is in a good location. Breakfast is available for €6.50 per day at the sister hotel round the corner. I’d stay here again if on a budget, but would prefer to pay slightly more for nearby alternatives.

Firstly, I want to stress that the staff at this hotel were lovely. Polite, friendly, accommodating, and the cleaning staff were excellent, as is the restaurant Grana. We were told “We have a spa and the pool across the road for you to use” - yes the pool was available, and I did take a dip. It was supposed to be heated and it was, barely, but pleasant enough. The jacuzzi on the top floor was neither heated, nor working, nor was the steam room, or sauna, which was disappointing. “We offer you a welcome drink, whatever you like, just go to the bar” the options were actually wine, Prosecco or juice, only between 6-7pm, and in the breakfast room where no one else was at that time. I felt like a dirty little secret, and we weren’t told until days into our trip that these were the restrictions, it would have been better to know when we arrived. The rooms were clean and spacious, but the toiletries weren’t great. I’d advise you bring your own shower gel and shampoo, or else buy it at the hotel shop (open 24/7) or the cash and carry next to the hotel. We were on the 2nd floor, and could hear a lot of noise from outside, people yelling/singing at night, trucks beeping in the mornings. If you’re a light sleeper, play some white noise. Breakfast was buffet style, offering the usual, but I’ve never had to queue for it before here, the dining hall is too small really, and staff were rushed. Some days we got a dirty table, or we couldn’t get clean cutlery, or a hot drink.

The staff are so kind and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and the inclusions were great. The only down side was our shower was full of mould. The hotel moved our room and the shower was better but still had mould. The air conditioning in the first room the air conditioning was leaking. Overall, great stay but probably wouldn’t return.

Our room was acceptable overall. Location is good - 10 mins walk to the ferry. The biggest problem was that our room looked onto a building site and loud noise started at 6am every day. It was unbearable. When we arrived, the floor was filthy - our socks were black from walking around. The best bit about this hotel was the shared pool across the road. Breakfast was very limited and needed more fresh fruit such as bananas or apples.

Zwar freundliches Personal, jedoch mangelt es am Talent die Zimmer zu säubern. Selbst nach Reklamation waren das Bad und der Boden noch immer dreckig. Auch waren auf der frischen Bettdecke Flecken. Die Dusche war schimmelig und die Toilette verschmutzt. Das Hotel wirbt mit zwei Pools. Was nicht erwähnt wird, dass ein Pool zur Poollandschaft gegenüber gehört. Diese darf man zwar kostenlos nutzen, muss aber erstmal die Hauptstraße überqueren und in den wirklich kurzen Öffnungszeiten am Hotel sein. Nachhaltigkeit scheint ein Fremdwort zu sein, da beim Frühstück vieles in Plastik verpackt wird. Das Rührei ist auch nicht zu empfehlen, da es teilweise schon schwarz war. Frisches Essen gab es auch nicht viel, eher Fertigware und Dosenfutter Nach Außen sind die Zimmer gut schallisoliert, die Baustelle gegenüber haben wir nicht gehört, dafür die Zimmernachbarn im Zimmer nebenan umso mehr. Die Türen muss man mit Nachdruck schließen, da diese sonst immer aufgehen.

The hotel was nicely located with many restaurants and the ferry to Valetta near by. Bus stop right outside. It had an amazing roof top terrace for breakfast. Unfortunately not all guest were allowed to have breakfast there, we had to have breakfast on the ground floor restaurant. Breakfast buffet was the exact same every day. Quality was average at best. Our room was quite moldy and had a bad smell. Free drinking water fountain and free access to the beach club across the street was a nice add on.

Lovely hotel in a great location close to Sliema waterfront for day trips or the boat to Valletta. The Aqualuna pool is nice and has a good vibe for relaxing. The hotel is clean, staff friendly and welcoming, the bed was comfy and room had good double glazing so we weren't disturbed during the night.

If you don’t take the “sea view” rooms you basically have no daylight at all because the window is facing a wall. The shower is not for people taller than 1,80m. The toilet was broken 2 times. The WiFi was broken one full day. Breakfast is okay but nothing special. Elevator takes way too much time. Cleaning ladies were very good and staff was nice. Location is very nice. Easy to get everywhere on the island.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay, we had welcoming drinks, access to sauna, jacuzzi. The room was huge, with comfortable bed. Free breakfast included. Another plus was the free access to the pool in Aqualuna, my husband who loves to swim loved swimming there. The location is fantastic for us as well, we chose to walk down the street and found plenty options for restaurants and local street food. It is also close to the ferry port to Veletta and any of the islands for tours. We loved it!

Another plus was the free access to the pool in Aqualuna, my husband who loves to swim loved swimming there. The location is fantastic for us as well, we chose to walk down the street and found plenty options for restaurants and local street food. It is also close to the ferry port to Veletta and any of the islands for tours. We loved it!

Great place to stay near shops and food opyions. Also easy to access the sliema-Valletta ferry and most tours will pick you up either at this hotel or very near it. Only issue is the room doors at night. People tend to slam them and it can be heard down the hall late at night

Wow so glad I booked a sea view room, it was like a suite! Huge bathroom, separate living area with sofa, balcony with seating. Great location, 10 min walk to the ferries to go across to Valletta or the cruises to Gozo. Staff lovely, good choice at breakfast of both hot and cold continental foods. Fridge in our room too. Mattresses are memory foam which seemed very firm (I’m used to super soft) We had no time to use the voucher for the fantastic pool across the road but it looked great, and heated too. Handy little shop next door for drinks, snacks, souvenirs. Would 100% stay again but book the sea view room again. 10/10

I bokningen står det ”cityview” men vi såg rakt in i en vägg från balkongen, vi fick byta rum till 2 våningar upp efter att vi kommenterade detta, men vi fick fortfarande utsikt rakt in i en vägg och orkade därefter inte argumentera mera. I bokningen står det ”cityview” men vi såg rakt in i en vägg från balkongen, vi fick byta rum till 2 våningar upp efter att vi kommenterade detta, men vi fick fortfarande utsikt rakt in i en vägg och orkade därefter inte argumentera mera. The hotel was very clean and organised. Our room was very comfortable and the sea view was worth the extra money. We were on the 8th floor and any noise generated by the busy area and road outside was not a problem as the doors and height blocked it.The bed was very big and comfortable. Breakfast was average - the hot food was only slightly warm at times but the pastries were very good. More fresh fruit would be an improvement and also better breakfast cereals. Seasons bar was disappointing as it lacked comfort and ambience. We also found bar service to be very slow. Grana restaurant was very good, and busy so worth booking especially at the weekend. Access to Aqualuna over the road was a bonus as this included sun beds and towels. The pool was very warm but crowded as many people chose to stand around in it. The music was loud and repetitive so we chose to sit in the upper area where it was less intrusive. The pizza was very good. We did not like it that smoking was allowed as this was unpleasant. Overall the hotel was very good and apart from the Seasons bar and breakfast it felt more like a 4 star than a 3 star.

You need to slam the room doors to close them and the sound proofing is terrible. Zimmer mit Fenster zum Innenhof könnten genauso gut eine Innenkabine auf einem Kreuzfahrtschiff sein. Die gegenüberliegende Wand ist etwa 3m entfernt. Bei einer Höhe von 9 Stockwerken bekommt man besonders in den unteren Stockwerken ein Gefühl von Klaustrophobie.

This hotel is ideally located on the promenade in sliema. Rooms are adequate and comfortable. Front desk staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Breakfast seems to be a bit of a dog and pony show. We ate at the upstairs restaurant our first morning and it was excellent!! Later that day we noticed that the restaurant downstairs (Grana) also had breakfast. So we asked if there was a difference between the two and were told no. We were then asked if we wanted to reserve our breakfast table for the next morning. We said sure, is it ok if we eat upstairs? Answer was sure no problem. Fast forward to the next morning, we go to breakfast at seasons upstairs and are told we're not on the list but no problem come on in. While we're getting our food a staff member then approaches my wife and basically berated her that we weren't supposed to be there and that for today it's okay but not for tomorrow. Firstly, customer service 101...DO NOT EVER BERATE A CUSTOMER... ESPECIALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF A FOOD LINE IN FRONT OF OTHER GUESTS. This behaviour should not be tolerated by management. If it wasn't for this experience, the hotel would have gotten a mich higher review. Will never return

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well located, close to buses, restaurants and great views of Valletta. The free breakfast was much better than expected. There was a lot of choice and it was very good. The hotel restaurant Grana was also very good and reasonably priced. The welcome drink at the bar on the 9th floor with magnificent views of the city was much appreciated. It wasn’t warm enough for us to use the pool when we were there but it looked amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to come again.

Breakfast was poor. Simple things like keeping the coffee machine wasn’t done consistently. The food was also the same each and every day. It would have been better if there was some form of variety to the food. The eggs were rubbery for being over cooked, the hash brown potatoes were soggy as it was not stored properly to keep it fresh. The concierge wasn’t helpful when we wanted to find out generally about the Ferry to Gozo. Just because we didn’t purchase a package/ tour with the concierge of the hotel, she withheld information in a rude way saying, “if you rented a car from me, I would have told you every detail, but you can find it on Google”. Staff need much better training.

We booked a superior twin room on the 25 th of March, when the booking came back there was no assurance of the twin room so I contacted the hotel and they sent me an assurance of a twin room, on the 26th march. On arrival at the hotel on Dec 4th we were initially given a king size room, no 319. on questioning this and showing them the assurance of a twin room they said they did not see this e-mail ,they then had the audacity to say that the room was now ready which sadly was the same room with the two beds still together but made up as two singles with the same bed head.Not a twin room as assured. On questioning this later the gave us every excuse under the sun. We eventually walked away disgusted. NOT A TWIN ROOM and certainly NOT a Superior room.in fact it was one of the smallest rooms on the floor! Utterly disgusted and will posting this on their sight for others to see. B.Dean

Lite besvikelse över wellnes området, mycket var trasigt, och bastun pytteliten och upptagen hela tiden. Sen frågade vi om de kunde fixa något litet frukostpaket en dag då vi skulle iväg tidigt en morgon före restaurangens öppettid, men det klarade man inte att lösa. :-(

The hotel itself is great, it is in a great location and the free entry to the pool across the road is great, however the breakfast was very repetitive with the only option for eggs was scrambled, no jam only marmalade, maybe a little more selection would have made the difference, the rooftop bar only served beers in cans and in the two evenings we went they had limited stock however the view from the rooftop is spectacular . The staff were very friendly and helpful.

El hotel cumple con las expectativas Llegar en bus desde el aeropuerto es facil pero ir a La Valetta en bus es un poco mas difícil porque es un paradero popular y normalmente está lleno de gente. Loved the views and enjoyed the 9th floor bar and complimentary drinks. Room was clean and kept tidy by housekeeping throughout our stay. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of choice that catered for my gluten free diet. Thanks for a great stay.

The hotel was nicely located with many restaurants and the ferry to Valetta near by. Bus stop right outside. It had an amazing roof top terrace for breakfast. Unfortunately not all guest were allowed to have breakfast there, we had to have breakfast on the ground floor restaurant. Breakfast buffet was the exact same every day. Quality was average at best. Our room was quite moldy and had a bad smell. Free drinking water fountain and free access to the beach club across the street was a nice add on.

On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and we checked in to our room. The room smelled like smoke, we notified the front desk they said they had given us a smoke free room. Great room, spacious and modern. Facilities overall were excellent. Gym wasn't working which wasn't ideal as husband training for a big run after we got home so had to go outside in the heat which was tough. Staff all helpful and friendly from the cleaning crew to the reception team. Food in the restaurant was also very good. Would certainly recommend.
