The room was in good condition. Staff were attentive, including the room cleaners. Just a few minor things in the room that didn’t impact on the holiday were the short flush push button of the toilet that was inoperative and the air conditioner was working, however the bottom flap was loose as someone broke one of the clips that held the flap in place. A photo was taken ten minutes after checking in. The push button for the overhead shower was also unusable as the fittings were loose. I had to use the small shower head instead which was fine. I didn’t notice at the time, that the swimming pool featured on the brochure was not of the hotel (ST Hotel Azur) complex itself but another building opposite the hotel (Aqualuna) along the waterfront. The gymnasium that was featured was anything but what the brochure had featured. My wife and I used the gym which again was in another hotel (ST Hotel Bayview) and not the hotel where I was staying. The equipment available was very disappointing, the electrical equipment like the treadmill as one of them had a inoperative start button that no one could utilise as it appeared to be gouged out, therefore the machine couldn’t be used, the other treadmill was working fine and is the only one you can use fully with no effects. The room itself was very small and looked like the room could do with a bit of DIY. The breakfast itself for me was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Typical continental breakfast with full English breakfast buffet.

Comfortable modern hotel in a good location just off the seafront. Handy for ferry to Valetta. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Good breakfast offering that includes hot and cold buffet. The pool complex, shared with other hotels, is 5 minutes walk away, although this was never a problem.

Nice hotel. But was put in room 3005 right next to the breakfast area. After arriving at 2am it was quite a shock to get woken up at around 6am. Couldn’t get back to sleep and it’s impossible in that particular room. Got moved but the lady on the front desk was the friendliest and never apologized. Once moved the room I got was great. Gym was out of order. Also had issues where room keys weren’t working. Great hotel as long as you don’t get room 3005.

Location great, hotel itself very poor. Breakfast ok but lack of decent selection of fresh fruit or vegetarian options. We had a superior room which was basic to say the least, so dread to think what a standard room was like. Bed made daily but room not cleaned, we had a cup of coffee sat on a table for 8 days. Bathroom definitely not cleaned either, towels changed but amount left varied. Returned from day out at 16.15 to find room still not cleaned so no we had to tell the cleaner to just change our towels. The pool is pretty good, just across the road. However, half of the beds by the pool are reserved for another hotel as it is a communal beach club. Non residents can pay to use this so most days beds around the pool are taken, but, there are plenty more up on the roof terraces. I personally would not go back to this hotel.

Eigenes Gym nicht nutzbar Das Hotel besitzt keinen eigenen Pool sondern nur externe Anlage wo man 5 min laufen muss. Würden wir nicht noch einmal buchen! Bilder totale Irreführung.

The advertisement said there was an outdoor swimming pool. There was not - but there was a good (public pool serving several hotels) about 250 metres away - crossing 2 main roads and requiring us to change out of our wet bathing costumes before returning to the hotel. Our room was not prepared for us when we arrived and the double bed had to be splint into the 2 singles we had booked. Servicing of the room was poor on most days and on several occasions we had to sit out on the balcony, in the late afternoon, whilst the beds were made.

Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstraße einer sehr belebten Gegend, ist aber trotzdem ruhig. Wir waren für 4 Nächte dort und es hat uns gefallen. Leider war der Fitnessraum nicht nutzbar, da einige Geräte out of Order waren. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und gut. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und alles sauber, die Badezimmer müffeln ein bisschen. Personal ist supernett und zuvorkommend.

En arrivant il nous on attribué une chambre qui n’étais pas celle que j’avais choisis il ne comptais pas nous la changer heureusement qu’on a demander a voir le Manager et lui nous a donner une chambre plus grande,les chambre on du béton brut au plafond : les finition ne sont pas faite,ce n’est pas propre,humidité,moisissures miroir cassé,fauteuils tachés…on nous promet un service de ménage chaque jour sauf qu’on nous laisse dans nos draps sal pendant 15 jours ! et qu’on passe même pas le balai,ni même nettoyer les sanitaires ils se contente du minimum refaire le lit avec les draps sale et changer les poubelles. D’autant plus que La piscine ne sois pas sur place, elle est beaucoup trop petite pour le monde qu’elle accueille résultat une baignade en 15 jours et serrer comme des sardines.Petit déjeuner à éviter aucune saveur prenez le petit déjeuner à l’extérieur c’est mieux. Beaucoup beaucoup trop cher pour se que c’est pour un séjour à 2000€ on s’attend à un minimum en retour.Ne perdez ni votre temps ni votre argent aller ailleurs !

The room was a good size with enough storage space for two, bathroom was good with a shower with good water pressure. Breakfast was fine, gluten free bread was available upon request. The website is misleading though and the restaurant is only open for breakfast. The coral bar detailed on the website no longer exists and is simply just seating behind the reception desk. On this site the hotel is labelled as having an on-site pool, this is incorrect. Rooms actually receive free access to the lido across the street. Other hotels nearby also receive free access and the lido is also open to the public. Room cleaning service happened later in the day than I would have liked, usually 4/5pm. Fitness centre is awful and consisted of only a broken treadmill, a broken fitness bike, and a cable machine. A good choice for those who want to spend most of their time outside the hotel, the room is good for cooking off with air-conditioning but the hotel has few other facilities. The lido is nice but gets busy quickly and the food and drinks there can be expensive.

Met kleine aanpassingen zou dit hotel snel hoger scoren. Dit betreft voornamelijk het ontbijt. De yoghurt is lauw, de broodjes lijken oud, er zijn regelmatig geen koffiekopjes en zo zijn er een aantal dingen die het wat minder maken. Voor 13:00 uur in de middag werden de oude handdoeken wél opgehaald maar je kreeg pas tegen 17:00 uur nieuwe handdoeken. In de namiddag douchen na een stranddag was dan niet mogelijk. Dit is wel allemaal in hoogseizoen, dus wellicht is het in het voor en najaar anders, maar het maakte het verblijf niet helemaal perfect voor ons. Toegang tot het zwembad aan de overkant van de weg was wel superfijn en het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam waar dat kon. De bedden sliepen heel erg fijn en de kamers waren een prettige grootte met een goed werkende airco. Locatie ook helemaal top. Pro’s en con’s dus. Voor de prijs die je betaalt, prima!

Aircon was good. Breakfast buffet was also pretty good. The staff was also accommodating. The only issue was the cleanliness of the bathroom and how staff didnt really clean properly but it was still okay.

We were crammed like sardines for breakfast- it was insanely overwhelming. We even went on the ‘off hours’ for breakfast. I have travelled all over the world and never had a run in with bed bugs- but I did at this hotel. My sheet covering the mattress had slipped off and I saw a mound of bed bugs. We left the hotel. I spent the rest of my vacation scratching my arm. I have never left a bad review for a hotel, but I would never stay here again.

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel! A special thank you to Fernando at the reception, who was always kind, helpful, and professional, he made us feel welcome from the very beginning. The cleaning service was excellent, thanks to Islam, a very polite and attentive young man. His attention to detail and friendly attitude made our stay even more comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options, and everything was clean and well organized. Compliments to the whole team for running everything so smoothly.

The hotel was clean. The room was a good size. We had a large bed, which was comfortable for me but my friend found too soft. We stayed 4 days and asked for the room to be cleaned and it was done. The staff were helpful. The buffet breakfast had a good selection. Our room had a balcony and did overlook the local residents but it was not a problem. The hotel is located in a side street off the main road. It is near the harbour. There is also plenty of restaurants if you want to eat out. I would stay here again.

Vi hade utsikt mot en skabbig bakgård, trasiga handdukar (så gamla att de föll isär), trasig tv kontroll, ingenstans att hänga upp sina handdukar eller blöta badkläder, trasig badrumsspegel och duschdörr samt gymet var skrattretande (bättre att bara ta bort det). Personalen försöker hjälpa till och de gör sitt bästa.

O café da manhã é fraco. Não varia. Funcionários simpáticos. Quarto e banheiro grandes. Cama boa. Muito silencioso. A limpeza do meu quarto, no quarto andar foi muito ruim. Só passavam um pano no meio, não lavam vaso nem pia, não limpam o chão do banheiros. Boa localização. Perto de tudo.

The rooms were spacius and the bathroom was superb. Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. View could have been better, but then you pay extra for that. The breakfast was excellent, however the hotel suffers from this as it is always very busy, and in although the dining area looks spacious when empty, when its busy it is hard to move around and the backs of the seats knock together. But overal superb and cant be beaten on value.

Nice hotel. But was put in room 3005 right next to the breakfast area. After arriving at 2am it was quite a shock to get woken up at around 6am. Couldn’t get back to sleep and it’s impossible in that particular room. Got moved but the lady on the front desk was the friendliest and never apologized. Once moved the room I got was great. Gym was out of order. Also had issues where room keys weren’t working. Great hotel as long as you don’t get room 3005.

My window overlooked the rooftop of the neighboring building (just 4 meters away), where residents routinely hung laundry and paced around—hardly a scenic retreat. The room itself felt claustrophobic, with ceilings so low I could easily reach up and touch them. The walls near the balcony and the ceiling were stark, unfinished concrete, giving the space an industrial, almost unfinished vibe. The hotel itself is generally nice, but the pictures look better than its actual conditions, the sheets and linens seem to be a bit worn. There was some very loud noise from cleaning staff playing music and talking in other rooms, this last for hours. So I wouldn't say the room is very sound proof.

The room was ok, but the hotel is super noisy. It feels like it’s a hotel for party people. Also de surroundings are not very nice, if you don’t reserve parking with advance it will be imposible to find around the hotel. We stayed at the floor above the dining area and we could hear the chairs moving all day long.

The room had bare concrete ceilings which were ugly and smelt and gave the impression that the room was still under construction. Also sections of the wall near the balcony door were also bare and rough concrete which was unsighlty and dangerous if touched. Neither the condition of the ceiling and walls were revealed in the pre booking advertisements.

I am not sure if my chat with Expedia was seen by hotel. It seemed to me that they had to find another room which had to be adapted to our request - twin room & accessible. When towels needed to be changed we had to follow up with Reception for new towels to be given ‘emergency towels’. We still did not get any hand towels or shower mat. Had to use one of bath towels so we did not slip on the tiled floor. This happened twice. I was told there was a problem with laundry. The staff were very helpful & polite. The General Manager was present a few times which was nice. Thank you.

The only really polite person is Paula, she works in the 9th floor. Very indifferent personal otherwise. Not something wrong with that but not polite. In the bathroom the mirror was in really bad shape, room 9002. The wood around the mirror was rotten. You can order food in the room but you can’t take a croissant from the breakfast upp to your room. Who makes these rules from 1990?

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel! A special thank you to Fernando at the reception, who was always kind, helpful, and professional, he made us feel welcome from the very beginning. The cleaning service was excellent, thanks to Islam, a very polite and attentive young man. His attention to detail and friendly attitude made our stay even more comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options, and everything was clean and well organized. Compliments to the whole team for running everything so smoothly.

I recently stayed at Azur Hotel in Sliema, Malta. The location is fantastic, just a block from the boardwalk and the heart of Sliema. The room was clean but had some maintenance issues. There were significant problems with my stay. I paid for an ocean view room but received a standard room with no compensation. The best part of the hotel was the breakfast which was great with lots of variety. The room was also good but not in as good as a condition as i expected as the toilet made a constant sound and the room was just relatively clean. The comfort was not great at all since just the check in took 40mins and then we didn’t get the room we booked either. We also had really loud neighbour guest, which a lot of other guests complained about too, but there wasn’t any improvement on the noise level until 2 nights later though raising this issue with staff which also couldn’t help with other alternatives. The hotel couldn’t also help out with for example borrowing utensils and providing extra bedding etc. The staff was always friendly though.

Everything about my stay was wonderful — from the attentive staff to the cleanliness and amenities, as well as the convenient location. I was especially impressed by the front desk staff member Anthony and the cleaning lady Winnie, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and well-maintained, making my visit very enjoyable. What stood out the most was the professionalism of the manager, Patricia. When I brought up a small issue regarding the placement of a water station in the lobby, she handled it swiftly and with great care. It was clear that the team is dedicated to providing excellent service. I truly wish I could have such outstanding staff at my own hotel. Everything ran smoothly throughout my stay, and I will definitely be coming back.

Comfortable modern hotel in a good location just off the seafront. Handy for ferry to Valetta. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Good breakfast offering that includes hot and cold buffet. The pool complex, shared with other hotels, is 5 minutes walk away, although this was never a problem.

In der Nähe sind auch tolle Restaurnats, Bars… Der Pool liegt außerhalb, das sollte mam wissen, wo auch normale Tagesgäste rein können. Daher auch viel los gewesen. Die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig, also das muss einem auch bewusst sein.

The hotel was clean. The room was a good size. We had a large bed, which was comfortable for me but my friend found too soft. We stayed 4 days and asked for the room to be cleaned and it was done. The staff were helpful. The buffet breakfast had a good selection. Our room had a balcony and did overlook the local residents but it was not a problem. The hotel is located in a side street off the main road. It is near the harbour. There is also plenty of restaurants if you want to eat out. I would stay here again.

Met kleine aanpassingen zou dit hotel snel hoger scoren. Dit betreft voornamelijk het ontbijt. De yoghurt is lauw, de broodjes lijken oud, er zijn regelmatig geen koffiekopjes en zo zijn er een aantal dingen die het wat minder maken. Voor 13:00 uur in de middag werden de oude handdoeken wél opgehaald maar je kreeg pas tegen 17:00 uur nieuwe handdoeken. In de namiddag douchen na een stranddag was dan niet mogelijk. Dit is wel allemaal in hoogseizoen, dus wellicht is het in het voor en najaar anders, maar het maakte het verblijf niet helemaal perfect voor ons. Toegang tot het zwembad aan de overkant van de weg was wel superfijn en het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam waar dat kon. De bedden sliepen heel erg fijn en de kamers waren een prettige grootte met een goed werkende airco. Locatie ook helemaal top. Pro’s en con’s dus. Voor de prijs die je betaalt, prima!

This was a fine hotel, if you're looking for something convenient with basic amenities. The free breakfast was a madhouse and the food was sub-par, but I appreciated the offering nonetheless. The location was excellent and convenient, with easy access to the ferry to Valletta, as well as close to buses to the Valletta and the airport. It might be helpful to note that the pool pictured isn't on the premises - it's a shared pool a short walk from the hotel. Many hotels in the area share access to the pool, so can get quite crowded (but it's an essential visit when it can get so hot during the day!).

Chambre spacieuse, hôtel calme et bien situé, personnel à l'écoute à condition de parler parfaitement l'anglais. La salle de bain est spacieuse mais manque d'espace pour poser les articles de toilette. Le petit déjeuner est correct, mais la qualité devrait être amélioré. La salle ressemble à un hall de gare,pour le calme et la tranquillité, oubliez... Le vrai plus,la consigne à bagages gratuite, avec des coffres individuels, sans limitation de durée.

The swimming pool is not on site, but across a busy road and is shared by a number of other hotels and businesses. There is no restaurant on site; just a breakfast room. The breakfast is always cold and the cold cheese and meat option is tasteless. Rooms are ok. The approach to the hotel is up a scrappy road, with graffitti on the walls leading up to the hotel. Not as advertised on their website. Not overlooking the marina as in their photos.

Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstraße einer sehr belebten Gegend, ist aber trotzdem ruhig. Wir waren für 4 Nächte dort und es hat uns gefallen. Leider war der Fitnessraum nicht nutzbar, da einige Geräte out of Order waren. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und gut. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und alles sauber, die Badezimmer müffeln ein bisschen. Personal ist supernett und zuvorkommend.

O café da manhã é fraco. Não varia. Funcionários simpáticos. Quarto e banheiro grandes. Cama boa. Muito silencioso. A limpeza do meu quarto, no quarto andar foi muito ruim. Só passavam um pano no meio, não lavam vaso nem pia, não limpam o chão do banheiros. Boa localização. Perto de tudo.

The room was a good size with enough storage space for two, bathroom was good with a shower with good water pressure. Breakfast was fine, gluten free bread was available upon request. The website is misleading though and the restaurant is only open for breakfast. The coral bar detailed on the website no longer exists and is simply just seating behind the reception desk. On this site the hotel is labelled as having an on-site pool, this is incorrect. Rooms actually receive free access to the lido across the street. Other hotels nearby also receive free access and the lido is also open to the public. Room cleaning service happened later in the day than I would have liked, usually 4/5pm. Fitness centre is awful and consisted of only a broken treadmill, a broken fitness bike, and a cable machine. A good choice for those who want to spend most of their time outside the hotel, the room is good for cooking off with air-conditioning but the hotel has few other facilities. The lido is nice but gets busy quickly and the food and drinks there can be expensive.

There is a motion detector on top of the bed watching you while you are there. Also they provide only one pillow per guest on the bed and no bed sheet which means you sleep on the mattress directly. It is not very sanitary. The breakfast is crazy overcrowded and at peak, there is nothing left. The hotel has no machine to fill water bottle to drink an they invite the clients to go at the store buy some. Overall this place is highly disapointing and it should not be rated this high. The worst hotel in my 2 week vacation.

We booked this hotel because it had a gym. No pictures of the supposed gym were on the website. The "gym" turned out to be one tiny room that was smaller than the bathroom with broken machines. On the first day one of the staff members knocked on the door. I didnt hear the knock sonthe staff member sen tintonthe room. I was wearing only my bikini then... One time we had the So not disturb sign on the Door. The sign didnt stop the staff from disturbing us anyways and knocking on the door. The hotel doesnt have it own pool, you have to collect pool tickets each day dans walk about 100 m to the pool. Also I requested to borrow an iron which was never delivered to my room... The breakfast was mediocre. The staff wasnt particularly friendly, barely said Hello. The only thing that was really nice was the hotel room. It was roomy and cozy.
