The hotel desk person was very nice & accommodating. The pillows were too big to sleep with. The upstairs noise of someone stamping their feet went all day into evening. We got no sleep. The pool was cold and there weren't any dressing room so you had to walk out in the cold to get to your room. There we no ice machines.

Sofa bed was absolutely terrible. Stayed in room 116, extremely musty smell in there when we arrived. Homeless person circling parking lot at night.

I stay here every time I visit family. This time around wasn't as great as previous times. The pool although inside was too cold to use. No one ever seems to use the pool. The shower in my room, 223 has all kinds of mold and mildew on the caulking and it's kind of gross. The top of the refrigerator certainly has not been wiped down in a while. Breakfast was certainly not the best. The eggs are always rubbery and the sausage links were totally dried out like they were from previous days. The reason I would always come back is because it's very convenient and in the middle of pretty much everything I need and the staff whether it be the front desk, cleaning services or kitchen are extremely friendly and very very helpful. That in itself is enough for me to come back.

Staff was friendly, except when I checked out and said my stay was good ,except for the ants in my kitchen. The young lady Apologized,But there was a gentleman standing there and he didn’t say anything no apologies know anything. Don’t know if he was a manager or just another staff member.

There were unruly children running and screaming up and down the halls on our first night stay, I had to go downstairs on night two and say something to the front desk just so I could get some sleep. I had to send my wife to the front desk on day 3 to request housekeeping because no one gave us towels or cleaned our room. When house keeping finally arrived, she was nice though. The bathroom had mold around the edges, wallpaper bubbling, and the indoor pool was very cloudy and just not very clean looking. The breakfast was TERRIBLE and had no taste or tasted nasty when it did have flavor so cereal was the only thing eaten for four days

Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Bed was awesome and the bathroom & kitchenette areas clean - no sticky floors. Pull out couch bed - d minus for comfort. Out of 5 bath towels over 2 days, only 2 didn’t have stains. Tiny bug crawling in the kitchenette sink. Overall a B+/A-. Would stay again but never count on the pull out couch bed - get a room with 2 actual beds if needed.

The sofa mattress is very old and very uncomfortable. The sofa is stained and the wallpaper is old and curling up. There weren’t enough towels and washcloths. I was hoping to soak in a tub but was given a walk-in shower. The room was beautifully clean and I love the artwork and decor. I didn’t like to have to go outside and freeze to smoke and drink my coffee, animals are treated better. Bring back the newspapers.

Nice place! I really liked my suite. There was plenty of space, and the bed COMFY!!!! I couldn’t give it 5 stars because it was a bit loud. I heard slamming doors all night (it’s just how the doors close there), and the extremely loud HVAC system. There is constant whining noise all night. Most frustrating, I authorized my card to be charged for the price that Expedia plainly showed, but was charged more when I got to the hotel. I don’t recall being told anything about a deposit - nothing was mentioned - they just charged me about $50 more than what I expected to pay. I just find that crappy

It is within walking distance from iHop and the Auburn mall which has an Arcade and playplace perfect for my 6 year old grandson. The rooms are perfect size and very comfortable. The temperature never seemed quite right. Too hot or too cold. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

I have stayed in Marriott Hotels a lot and the room cleaning service at this hotel was THE WORST I have ever experienced. Except for one day the room was not cleaned, sheets were just half-ass pulled over the bed, eithe no towels or towels dumped be the door, bathroom and sink not cleaned. I had to go to the front desk every night and then a staff member would try to fix it - but of course it was not the way it should be. I left the hotel every morning a reminded them to clean the room only to come back in the evning and it not being clean. I had to wait in the lobby or leave the hotel. That is entirely unacceptable for the money spent. One of the nice things of staying in a hotel is to come back to a clean room at night. It seems as if there is nobody at the hotel who takes pride in the service you provide to guests. The way the employees look (nose piercing, not clean looking, etc.) is not what we expect from a Marriott Hotel.

Wanted a semi decent hotel, and this was above my expectations. Very clean. Room was nice, view was good, bed was amazingly comfortable. Complimentary popcorn. Just overall good. Staff was super friendly despite the time. It was NewYears so we came back late and even between 1-2 am staff was helpful and friendly. The Gm made the effort to greet us on the way out. Overall would recommend. 🙌👍

I booked the stay for two nights. Has some travel difficulty and only stayed one night. I asked the front desk if I could get a copy of the stay that I only stayed one night. Staff checked me in when I wasn’t there. Now I cannot submit a travel claim because in their computer showed that I was checked in. Asked for a general manager, who, of course, wasn’t there asked the front desk for the general manager to contact me, which he never. Thought it was shady that staff checked me in when I wasn’t present until the next day.

This is a great, functional, place to stay if you are visiting Bates College. While it does overlook a Subaru dealership and an Olive Garden it is only 5 minutes from Bates and amidst every large discount store in the area, which was quite convenient for us. The staff is excellent. The only negative would be that they could use some more fresh fruit at the buffet other than the standard apples and bananas, and coffee is not strong. The suites are nice and I would stay there again for sure.
