Property as a while was great. Needs slightly larger, more distinct signage indicating main lobby / check in. The bar needs to stay open longer than 8:30pm. Especially if you're going to make it a selling point. Felt like I was on curfew.

The pictures of the hotel are VERY deceptive! Danville is in a fairly rural area, so I was expecting it to be a nice woodsy location. It’s literally being dwarfed by the enormous Geisinger hospital that sits right on top of the hotel. The hotel is very disjointed and has several disconnected buildings, which were not actually shown in any of the photos on various travel sites. There is currently construction all around the hotel. The hallways of our building were not air conditioned.

Was a convenient location for visiting family. Also liked the room had coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge. Nice amenities. Only problem was key cards were not working great. Had to get new cards several times. Someone fixed outside keypad and seemed to work a little better. Suggestion: since rooms are not cleaned at all during your stay, rooms should be stocked better for longer stays. We were there a week and had to keep getting things like toilet paper, coffee, etc.

Expensive hotel for what you get. The ceiling above the shower was peeling off. Piles of dust and dirt in corners. Very old carpet. Just not worth the price .

The place was fine for a one night stay. Not the cleanest though. Lots of dust and spiderwebs in corners. Maun areas were cleaned well. There were two red spider-like bugs on the ceiling that my husband killed. The staff was so friendly. We also had people standing outside of our door talking around 11pm. After calling the front desk to let them know, it was taken care of immediately. The restaurant was amazing and I would go back to eat there. I would not stay overnight again. The website gives a much different impression than what it actually looks like. Also, lots of construction going on which starts promptly at 8am in the morning. Overall, our stay was ok but would look for something different next time.

This place is outstanding! The only complaint is finding the lobby after dark was difficult but I believe that is because Geisinger is under renovations and the hotel is right in their backyard. It was the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed at.

Stayed while our grand daughter was at Janet Weis children’s hospital. Was a very short walk to the hospital. Property was extremely clean. Excellent food at the on property restaurant. Would highly recommend staying there if you are in the Danville Pa area.

Pine Barn Inn is a great place to stay. Very Clean with pleasant and friendly staff. Room was perfect with our needs. Great Restaurant and bar. Breakfast was excellent and reasonable. Inn is next to the Hospital and in a small town setting. Grocery Store and downtown shopping area. Less then a 15 minute drive to Knoebels Amusement Park

We waited almost 30 minutes before anyone came to the front desk to help us. There were 2 other guests waiting also. One of them simply needed a shuttle ride to GMC. To be fair, everyone was friendly. I was told that we would get a discount since we were staying there for hospital business but my bill does not reflect that. We were not given breakfast vouchers, which were expected. Mostly it was extremely confusing to determine which door to go into to check in. We circled the complex twice before guessing which door to enter. It was dark, and the lighting is POOR!

Staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. Restaurant was reasonably priced. Rooms were clean. Only complaint is that their toiletries did not include hair conditioner (in either room we were staying with friends), which is a huge thumbs down for women with thick curly hair that forgot to pack the shampoo/conditioner.

Very nice place. Has it all in one place. Nice tavern restaurant. Geisinger medical Centre is right behind it. You can get shuttle from there right to the Hospital.

Great hotel. We were going to the covered bridge festival in Bloomsburg and Knoebels Amusement Park so it was in a perfect location for both. The staff member who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful and the staff member who checked us out was just as friendly. Room was clean and had everything we needed. We had breakfast at the restaurant which was really good and staff were nice there too! All around a great hotel and we would definitely stay there again.

Very acceptable hotel in walking distance from the Geisinger hospital. I can't imagine any other reason one would stay there. Front desk clerk was perfectly welcoming. Water in the AM was as hot as any could want. Dove hygiene products are a step above the usual chain hotel fare. Room HVAC kept room comfortably warm during a single digit cold snap. Would certainly stay there again when a visit to Geisinger is in order.

We were up at 4 am because the bed was just so uncomfortable to sleep in and checked out super early because we were awake. The tavern staff seemed stressed out and the bartender was struggling to make simple drinks. I waited for a beer for 10+ minutes because we’re assuming he was making drinks for both restaurants. But we got vodka cranberries that were all vodka. Other than that the food was amazing.

Hotel was great with a large, clean room. The check in person was very friendly and showed us where our room was. However the restaurant service was terrible. The food was good but breakfast took over an hour and we had to ask for our check just so we didn't have to wait longer.

The good… Restaurant was very good. We had both breakfast and dinner during our stay and all our meals were very good and reasonably priced. Front desk staff were nice and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. Very quaint hotel. This is the 3rd time we have stayed there, and we will probably stay there again.

Decent place Restaurant closes way too early. Had issues with card opening door after we came back. Another couple tried to help but had same issue. Staff on duty was very helpful and polite.
