Hampton Inn & Suites Cincinnati-Mason

Didn’t like the options for breakfast. The floors where very dirty when you walked around in the room bare foot our feet were black. Pool was freezing. I went out to my car and saw a homeless guy walk in from the street and come have breakfast in the lobby.

This is a great family friendly hotel. The beds are wonderful, pillows amazing, nice bathroom with a large vanity, great little kitchen area but because we had 2 queen beds and a pull out couch the weirdest thing was that the TV was in the middle and the person on the pull out and the person on the one queen bed across from the pull out could not see the TV. It was in a very in convienent place. Could not be enjoyed by everyone in the room. The food every morning was fantastic and always different. You never left hungry. The pool was colder then i would have liked and cloudier then expected but my kids loved it especially when it was raining outside We will definitely be back here. So close to Kings Island, restaurants, gas stations and stores.

The hotel is very nice…. But warning if bringing your dog they will charge you an extra seventy five a night. When booking on this site no warning! Not worth seventy five for one night especially since my little poodle doesn’t shed and is under 20 lbs ! Crazy makes it two hundred fifty !!!! Very very disappointed!

Pool was closed one morning. They said there was an issue with not enough staff to clean it. You only get maid service upon request. Yet another example of less service for the same money. Not enough seating in the breakfast area. Elevator reeked of ditch weed. Hampton Inn appears to be sinking to the likes of Red Roof.

Only bad part was they had hardly anything for breakfast and allowed people from another hotel to use our pool

Clean property, nice pool, good breakfast

The only problem that we had was with the pool. My three grandchildren spent an hour in the pool before they started to complain about not being able to breath. They could not take deep breaths into their lungs before coughing. I used to handle liquid and gas chlorine as part of my job. I have been to many different types of training that had to do with Chlorine. This was a clear case of Chlorine Toxicity as the level were so high it was affecting their ability to breath. I immediately took them out and went back to our room and had them all take showers and wash their hair. All three of their swimsuits were bleached lighter because of the high levels of chlorine in the water. Their hair was stiff and hard to comb through even with leave in conditioner. The next morning I went and talked to the Manager and he said that he would have his pool guy look at it. Next thing we see is the door to the pool propped open. After breakfast, I went up to the front desk to tell them we were checking out a day early as this day was the last day of our vacation and all we had planned to do was to hang around the pool all day. That was not going to happen now as the pool had to much chlorine in the water. Expedia... please reach out to me if you have any further questions. I would like my last day refunded back to my account.

Great experience except the water in the pool. The clorine was so strong you could barely swim. Kids eyes were burning & the smell lingered even after showers.

easy access location and ample parking but not right next to highway. Clean and spacious room, good breakfast.

The room and hotel were very clean. They had a good selection of hot and cold breakfast. It’s close to King’s Island, which was our destination. I will stay here again when visiting the area.

Found Ants in the bed.

The floor was wet from i believe the air conditioner, large stain on carpet near the sleeper sofa and lastly we had ants. They were found on my sheets and the tv/desk combo. The staff were very kind and helpful. I have stayed at this location many times and its needing some upkeep. Particularly carpet cleaning.

Check in was great. Bathroom was dirty. What does housekeeping actually do in a bathroom, because they don’t clean the shower unit. Check out was great too. Loved the essentials in bottles on the wall.

Hotel was super clean and room was spacious. We would definitely stay there again. Breakfast not great and evening desk person at our check in acted like he'd like to be anywhere but there. He wasn't friendly at all.

Bath towels are pretty worn out, toilet paper only tiny bit left on the roll and no extras found in the room, a black mark on the sheet, breakfast is okay, but staff is friendly.

There was no dressers in our room. There were three of us and we had to live out of our suitcase

Nice hotel, rooms are spacious as well. I’d give a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Comfortable beds, nice staff too. Only issue was the pillows haha. They were kind of flat. But otherwise, would stay here again.

Stayed here for Cincinnati Open. Excellent option. 10 min from the Lindner center. Lots of food options nearby. Easy parking. Very clean. I was on the first floor that had very easy secure access and a nice grassy lawn view. Ceiling was very high which makes the room seem bigger and was very quiet. No sounds from above. I came back to the hotel after midnight a couple of times and had no concerns. Check in and out was easy and quick. Will definitely return here.

Overall very good. Breakfast was meh. Room was spacious and internet was strong.

We were very happy to have a room with a shower instead of a tub/shower. We didn’t care for the slider door on the bathroom/closet as it didn’t fully close and was heavy and noisy to move. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. The breakfast was disappointing, but everything was very good overall.

Our room was fantastic. Very spacious for our family of three. It was quiet despite being a fully booked hotel with multiple sports teams in the lobby every day. If we had one critique it would be that there were limited drawers to store clothing. Probably not a big deal if not staying for a long time. Otherwise we loved the convenience of getting to Kings Island and visiting other attractions in Cincinnati.

The best part of the stay was how quiet it was, even on the nights the hotel was full it was super quiet. I thought the beds were fine but my husband thought they were too soft. They clean the rooms every other day but missed us once. The lady who works the continental breakfast is awesome and deserves a raise. The gentleman who checked us in late at night was great. The location and price were good.

We were there as a large family in town for my dad’s funeral. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to pretty much take over the lobby to visit. It was very much appreciated!

When I went to go shower, the shower had a glass door that you pull shut, in doing so the door came off the track. My husband had to help me get it back on. When we went down stairs to tell the front desk the person at the time (short man with a beard, who I am guessing is the manager) he told me they would have maintance come and look at it, but sadly they had no rooms to switch us too, without even checking. My husband and I go back to our room and wait for a half hour before going back to the front to see if the maintance man was still on his way or did we need to be in the room for him to enter, the same man who told me hed have maintance come look at it, then tells me "unfortunately maintance has left for the day (which was 4pm) and we have to see if hed be willing to come back and fix it, but had you mention this to me earlier, than he could have fixed while he was still here." This man basically made it my fault for showering at a time when no one can fix it. He then tells us he, himself was going to look at it and when my husband tried to explain to him what happened, he proceeded to talk over my husband. We decided to go get dinner and come back to give them time to fix it. When we came back, it looked like it was fixed but you still couldnt shut the glass door all the way without it starting to come off again.

The Hotel Door would not lock i reported to front desk thr guy said maintenance already left juat lock it from the inside and didnt offer to move us rooms , we didnt have towels in the bathroom i called front desk asking for some tells thought they would bring to us inatead told me if i wamted towels to come to the front desk to get them.

I had an issue at check in with someone who had a similar name as mine and a mix up in Hilton rewards, but the person at the front desk fixed everything and made sure my reservation was still kept.

Clean hotel! Incredibly friendly staff who were actually interested in our reason for being there! Jen, very specifically, was amazing! There was a gentleman who worked along side her at night on the weekend too who was incredibly kind! I, sadly, cannot remember his name. Their engagement made the stay worth everything for me and my group! They made it personal and not just a hotel. I felt truly welcomed!

The facility and room was very nice. However, when checking in, the attendant, Sam, charged my credit card twice for “incidentals” and didn’t know how to check us in since we used hotels.com as a third party booking agent. Once in our room, we discovered that there was no soap and only 1 cup. We were told that their soap was on back order, something I find hard to believe. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, but not very well prepared and we went to a restaurant our second morning. Overall, the facility is nice, but we will not stay again due to the service.

Even though there is current construction in front of the hotel, it was still accessible to hotel. Many dining options available near the hotel. Easy access to interstate.

Hampton is our go to choice when traveling. Always clean and fresh and staff always helpful and friendly. This Hampton was a bit difficult to access due to construction around. Bathtub drain did not drain properly and needed attention. Had to go down to the lobby for cold drinks as no vending machine in the vending area,

Lovely newer property in excellent condition, easy access to the highway. A short drive into Cincinnati if you wish.

this hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was not good though. There was no bacon or sausage to go with the eggs. Instead there was corned beef hash that was really gross. They ran out of bagels and waffle syrup. It was a poor selection of untasty food.

Great place to call home base when visiting the area. Easy freeway access (but no freeway noise, at least not that I noticed). Clean and comfortable rooms, well-equipped gym and the best continental breakfast that I’ve seen in a while. Every staff member that I encountered was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Will definitely return!

Spacious, clean rooms with very welcoming and helpful staff. The only dislike for our whole stay was no meat options for breakfast just corned beef hash. Who eats that?

The continental breakfast was not up to previous Hampton experiences. Coffee was not hot several days in a row as well as the breakfast entrees. Each day the oatmeal was runny as if it did not have enough time to cook and chance to thicken, Area was clean and staff was available if needed anything, yet the breakfast not worthy .

Overall, enjoyed the stay. The breakfast was fantastic!

Great stop. We had a suite and it was spacious and clean. Very comfortable. Breakfast was very good - lots of variety. Would stay again.
