Gasthof Diem

As a traveller with more than 120 days (business and private) yearly I’m confident saying that this is a great place to stay - we (small family) had one night in this hotel 22-23 July Very warm welcoming by a young helpful lady. Room was old but cozy, clean and nice to stay in ! Breakfast was good as well the coffee …. We would like to bring the following to the management attention - one the evening when we planned to enjoy a local meal in the garden opposite the hotel: Dear Gasthof Diem, Unfortunately, our experience did not meet the level of even average service. (Will not mention any name - I’m sure you know her name already) communicated with us in a way that we found unfriendly and unwelcoming. (She seems not to like tourists or people passing by - must be the conclusion) Throughout the evening, we also felt that we were ignored on several occasions, which made it difficult to enjoy our dinner. We appreciate that restaurants can be busy, but we felt that the level of attention and communication we received was not acceptable - talking “down” to its customers is not something acceptable. This was disappointing, especially as we had chosen your restaurant based on its good reputation. We hope you will take this feedback seriously and use it to improve the guest experience. Very helpful staff. Our arrival was delayed more than an hour, outside the check-in hours, yet the reception manager, a lady, waited for us to arrive. Thank you very much. Simple yet diverse breakfast was beyond my expectation. All the people were very caring and service-minded. Thank you very much. We will be visiting next time we are in the neighborhood.

A very nice hotel with super friendly personnel, excellent breakfast, very pleasant beer garden opposite belonging to the hotel in addition to hotel restaurant. Very good food. All you need. Location good, parking limited but there is some available. Would stay again.

Het enige wat tegenviel was dat er geen airconditioning was. Het was heet op de kamer

Hotellet har en mix av äldre rum och nya. Med hund bodde jag i de äldre rummen som är rena och funktionella, men till åren komna. Men jag reser inte för att njuta av hotellrummet. Personalen är fantastiskt välkomnande och serviceminded. Restaurangen håller hög kvalitet och frukosten väl tilltagen för de flestas behov och önskemål.
