This hotel was good. Unfortunately their bar / restaurant was closed for renovation. It was a clean place to stay. The room was very damp to start with and took a while for the A/C to dry it unless I wanted to turn it so cold it would freeze me out. Recommend staying in rooms that do not face the highway because it's noisey.

Mattress had large brown stains near bottom corners ( both beds in room) with no Mattress covers. Dirty carpets in hallway, rear stairs weren't in good repair. Rear door non functional, caution taped off. Pool was dirty, dead flies, etc. Pool equipment was broken, jacuzzi tub broken. Restaurant advertised as open is only open for breakfast. Mediocre breakfast options at best. Breakfast buffet was good, but I paid extra so it came with my room. I watched guests assume it came with the room to be surprised or told it was indeed not included, not free. Not the restaurant concierge's fault. Major highway right beside the hotel, we didnt plan very well. We could hear traffic all nigtht even with the fan/ac on. We would have been better off downtown NJ or NYC for noise. Parking was easy, but very cluttered. All staff were helpful, friendly and seemed to be doing the best they could.

Only issue about our stay was our room smelled like years of cigarette smoke embedded in the walls and carpet. Also the gym had a decent amount off weights for dumbbells but not bench to workout on.

The room was clean. The refrigerator door was broken so it couldn’t close properly. I had to lift the door to close each time I opened it. There was construction going on first floor. The hot tub was non functional. When my wife and I asked the front desk for towels at the pool we were told “they’re in the dryer, someone will bring them shortly”. The towels never arrived. Upon check-in there was no one at the front desk. I waited a few minutes before Fabian arrived. There was no urgency and he would speak and I assumed he was speaking to me, but he was speaking to an ear piece. Very dismissive and distracting. It took 30 minutes before I was checked in and some issue needed to be fixed. I paid for breakfast in advance when I booked on Expedia. On my second day I was asked if I wanted to charge the breakfast to my room. I explained it should already be included. Hopefully I wasn’t charged double for breakfast or I will be reaching out for refund of services.

Stayed 2 nights. 1st night air conditioning in the room was excellent, 2nd night dont know what happened but stopped blowing cold air. Was just fan. The hallways were cooler than the room was. Laundry facility out of order, ice machines, out of order and 1 of the hallways where the banquet halls are smell atrocious!! Dont know if its water damage or mold but they NEED to replace the carpeting there, air it out, paint, something!!!

Hallways were so hot. Room had odor when walking into it. Temp of room was either hot or freezing-couldn’t get a comfortable temp even after adjusting thermostat. Water pressure is so bad in the shower I could barely get the soap out of my hair. Toilet flushed only when holding handle down. Hot tub was down as stated on website for like 6 months. Front desk guy wasn’t very friendly. Only good thing about this place is the location. Convenient to highway, NY, and NJ.

The hot tub was under construction so we couldn't use it, and the pool was so dirty with bugs floating around. As mentioned in other reviews, only the 167Q bus is available. You can board and get off the bus at a stop just a 3-minute walk from the hotel. When we booked, the schedule for the New York-bound bus included early morning hours, but it was later changed to start from 9 a.m. We liked that we could get to New York cheaply for around $5. The downside is that the facilities are old. The mattress made a lot of noise whenever we moved. Overall, I would rate it 4 stars.

Beautiful hotel….the hot tub was not working and the bar was not open Saturday and Sunday, which I was really shocked. I wouldn’t have picked this hotel if I knew the lobby bar was closed weekends.

This isn’t a terrible hotel. The lobby is very clean, it’s very easy to lounge, the market place is accessible for snacks and free coffee which is much appreciated. The fitness level easy to find & the pool. The parking lot is spacious. The staff are easy to talk to. Now cleanliness… if I can’t walk barefoot in my own hotel room because the floor looks like it’s been walked on by 20 construction men with their muddy boots? Then I don’t think I’m coming back. Respectfully.

The hotel was a bit rundown, breakfast was $9 for the continental breafast that is usually free at other Hiltons I've stayed at. There was no AC in the hallways, so steeping out of the room or elevator, you are stepping into a sauna with no air movement. The carpet in the bedroom was old and stained, there was peeling wallpaper and paint. No toiletries in the bathroom apart from the shampoo/conditioner they attach to the shower wall. I had an ironing board, no iron. Had to go down and ask for one. The shower pressure was like the mist setting on a hose and good luck getting hot water. Temp went from warmish to cold to warmish.

I had no hot water for 1st 3 dats of stay in shower . Also ice machines did not work on 2st or 5th floor. While they finally fixed they water ni one ever spoke about any options to compensate or change rooms. I was away atteding to a sick relative and will need to continue my stay over thr next two weeks and i am dissapointed being a hilton honors member with the response & accomidation

This was the most affordable and prime location for what we needed however the room cleanliness or lack of will likely lead us to another hotel in the future. The room had a smell and come to find out the carpet around the AC was wet. Likely the cause of the smell. There was hair in the shower and what appear to be a blood smear on the bathroom wall. It was gross.

The staff was very friendly and professional, which I truly appreciated. However, the hotel itself is in need of serious updating. I had to be moved to two different rooms because of air conditioning issues, and by the time we got to the third room, the beds were extremely squeaky, the wallpaper was peeling, and the water pressure was very low. While I understand the lower price point, cleanliness and basic upkeep should always be a priority. All of the rooms I experienced had an old, musty smell—likely due to the carpets, which could really use replacing. That said, the staff remained wonderful throughout my stay: always friendly, professional, and accommodating. On a positive note, the breakfast was surprisingly good—simple but hearty, just like something you’d make at home. Overall, the hotel is affordable, but it would benefit greatly from some renovations.

I spent two nights at this hotel, one week apart, which were the worst experiences ever. The first time they told me the room wasn’t ready after the check-in time and they still needed a few minutes, so we waited. After one hour, we came to the front desk to ask whether they can gave us an approximate time so maybe we can come back, but they kept telling us the laundry was delayed and they needed a little more minutes, and the stuff even gave us an attitude. After one week, when we went back again, the same issue occurred and even worse. There was a long line in front of us and people who waited their rooms were filled within the lobby. Before you decide to book here, please think the situation where you are tired from your trip and only wanted to rest peacefully in your room but you have to wait more than 2hours to get your room.

Unfortunately I was informed that there was a problem with the laundry equipment and guest rooms were not ready. At 6:00pm, there were about 40 guests waiting for their room. My room was ready at 8:15pm. Another dozen guests were still waiting. I do have to recognize Donte who was the only receptionist. He was excellent throughout this very difficult and challenging situation, demonstration extreme patience and professionalism dealing with very unhappy and angry guests (myself included).

We checked in around 9pm. There was no one at the front desk, and no signage indicating where the front desk person was or when they would be back. We waited for a few minutes and no one came out. I finally went over to the bartender (the only other person in the lobby) and they went to find the front desk person, who was clearly annoyed at being found/interrupted. The front desk person was rude (I have a long last name and he mocked my name) and unprofessional (especially when I inquired why he was taking a $100 credit card deposit even though the room was paid in full). The room was fine and the rest of the stay was fine, but the front desk staff person was rude when we checked in.

We were told by management we'd get a refund after a multitude of issues. The management said to follow up by submitting a review and promised refund we have issues with the keys multiple times I had to return to the front desk to get the keys programmed because they weren't working! they weren't working for the room or for the pool area and I had to deal with a very loud fire alarm that went off due to construction noise in the lobby.

I had a very frustrating and unpleasant check in experience. I previously messaged the property as I was going to be checking in after 10pm and was advised to use the Hilton honors app in which I did. I was unable to access my digital key as it said I needed to go to front desk for further information. Once arriving to the hotel property at 12:30AM. There was no one at the front desk. There was also another couple there waiting for the front desk and they ultimately left. I made multiple calls to the front desk and after 25 minutes I made calls to the Hilton guest services corporate number. On the phone the agent tried calling the front desk in which I explained I already have been doing multiple times. She said there was nothing she could do for me and never experienced this instance before. She transferred me to another line that could help however that service was closed and the phone call left me no where in which I had to start this process again. I also in the mean time was attempting to get in touch with someone via the chat option on the Hilton honors app with no response from a live agent/team member. I started to begin a process of purchasing a different hotel as we were getting no where and getting desperate to get into a hotel room to sleep. While this is going on my guest and I from the start noticed an individual sleeping in a lobby chair. My boyfriend and I tried to

Check in was a complete nightmare. We got to the hotel at 3:30, check in starts at 3. It was suffocatingly hot in the lobby and after waiting in line for 15 minutes I was told my room was not ready. The woman behind the counter was rude and never once apologized. My room was eventually ready at 4:30. Absolute awful customer service. It’s too bad bc the location is ideal for events at MetLife.

It was very convenient to public transit as well as the rowing venue which was the reason we were there. It is a place you'd expect breakfast to be included but there wasn't anything added/special, just a good location and friendly staff. It's also a short drive to many other great small towns.

Great location with a bus stop right at the front of property. 25-40 minutes to Port authority bus terminal in Manhattan depending on the traffic. Very safe neighbourhood with offices in the area. Free parking is a big plus. Clean rooms with great staff and customer service.

Hotel and Staff were great. Clean place, plenty of free parking. If you are staying here on a road trip (as i was) gas up and get some food before you near the hotel...there is nothing nearby. Other than the lack of infrastructure around it, i would recommend the hotel for a quite, clean, and courteous stay.

I booked this property because of the location, price, free parking, pool & hot tub. The location was perfect, 7 min drive to American Dream mall & 25 min drive to Manhattan. Price was great & parking was very convenient. The first night after freezing weather outside we wanted to come back and soak in the hot tub. It was out of order our entire 5 night stay. I would have booked another property knowing this. Huge bummer seeing as we booked a month ahead and if I called before to confirm it was running closer to the travel date prices would have been higher to book elsewhere for last minute rates.

The welcome consists of telling you of a 50$ damage deposit and that breakfast is at 6, but not free. Be careful not to drink the water bottles in the room, that is not free either- Hilton should be made of better stuff. Otherwise, room and conditions are fine.

The facility was nice, although there was only one staff member working the evening shift — a peak time when many guests were checking in or needed assistance. While he was fantastic and did his best, it was clearly too much for one person to handle, and this seemed like a hotel management issue. The AC wasn’t working in the lobby or the breakfast area during our stay. On the first day, there was no hot food at breakfast, and although they offered a slight discount, I felt it wasn’t sufficient. There were also not enough towels in the pool area. That said, the complimentary early check-in and late checkout were fantastic, and access from the Fort Lee area was very convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant stay — thanks in large part to the one staff member who went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, despite several facility issues.

Building smelled damp like a wet rag. Hot tub was out of order and roped off, pool is quite small. Rooms are ok at best with small bathroom. Breakfast was ok, scrambled eggs, home fries and bacon with some cold options, nothing extravagant, I payed extra at booking for “full” breakfast and this place list in house restaurant on site with room service which is part of the reason I chose it however it does not have either. I have definitely had better stays at other locations for less money with bigger rooms, bigger pools and better breakfast that were included without paying extra like I did here.

Cleanliness was great. Staff was very attentive, ice machines were down, but they quickly responded and gave us plenty of ice. Location was great and proximity to everything. I would definitely stay again. The breakfast was good too. Staff was attentive to refill things when they were empty.
