Clean room, very quiet despite a busy pub/restaurant below, and with an excellent heat pump for cooling on a very hot few days in July. Comfortable bed! The breakfast is wonderful. Very convenient for walks in the countryside, and for quick trains to Cambridge and London. I’ll be staying here again

From moment we came in to the hotel we found a very friendly welcome from checking in then finding our room was comfortable with the added sofa for rel comfort , bedroom was very clean bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was very clean with everything you would want for a pleasant stay. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and also took our order quickly which was great. When we were leaving one of the staff helped us by carrying our luggage down and putting it in our car. We will certainly be staying again giving the staff and hotel 10 out of 10 thank you for a very pleasant visit

My stay at the Chalk Hare was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bathroom was new and very clean with a rainflow shower. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The location was perfect - right in the center of town - so you could walk and explore the beautiful old city and visit the Cave. FIVE STARS all around!
