Good hotel. Right by railway station - so easy to get to Cambridge and London. Great base for a bit of local sightseeing. Great free breakfast and decent meal options on an evening. Lovely staff. Clean. Parking extra - but the really good accommodation rate more than offset that for us.

Convenient for Duxford Museum. Next to station which would be useful too. Nice food served until 10.00 and then some after that even. Clean room. All very nice.

Nice hotel, everything you need. Good size room and very good push up bed for my daughter. Tea/coffee facilities in room. Only disappointment was £10 car park fee that was unexpected, which is annoying when you have tried to find a cheap hotel on a budget.

Overall it was good for the price, reception staff vg, rooms clean, shower good, BUT one pillow is just not right and because of the one pilloew you also notice the quality of the mattress is not the best.....do two pillows each and you might not notice the mattress quite as much. Breakfast was quite good as well. £10 parking charge as well.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Air conditioned room was bliss in extreme heat of this travelling day. Small bar but managed very well also restaurant basic but good. Parking also good.

Staff are attentive and do a good job of listening to their customers. Excellent transportation with the neighboring station for Cambridge, London and Stansted airport. Trains do create some noise but not an issue unless the windows are open. Food and drink options at the hotel are good, and the next door pub has additional choices.

A really comfortable, one night stay in Cambridgeshire, to visit our friends. The room was clean and the breakfast was very well equipped with lots of choices and fresh produce. Would definitely stay here again.

Tired, old hotel. Carpet stains. Chair stains. Dirty mirrors. Corridors smell of chemicals. Staff checked me into someone else’s room. Staff unable to give me a VAT receipt. Filthy cups at breakfast. My bathroom stank of damp. Road noise in my room with presumably no sound insulation from the outside. Banging noises in the hotel from 6am. Mouldy bathroom ceiling. No water available at breakfast. No bin in the room.

The shower seal around door in room was dirty and mould engrained. The ceiling had the beginnings of mould in bathroom. Room it self was ok. The tv remote was sticky and in need of new batteries. I would stay again as a stopover but silicone sealant in shower in need of replacement and shower door seals. Mould yik!

The room was a little dated and the window allowed a fair bit of noise in from the train tracks outside. The room I had was definitely priced high, borderline unreasonable for what you got. The tv in the room was tiny. Washroom was clean and well lit. The carpets in the room had some stains, especially around the door.

Tired decor. Tiny TV in room similar to one I have around 15 years ago. Mould in bathroom. Poor soundproofing on windows so all noise from road and rail nearby very noticeable. Basic breakfast with terrible coffee.

The bed could have been better, was only "ok" rather than really confortable. Facilities, location (next to station) and staff all really good. We were not dusturbed by train noise despite overlooking the railway.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. After 4 days in the UK, I can honestly say that they were the mostly friendly people I've met over here. The room was spotless and much nicer than I expected. The area is beautiful and the hotel is perfectly located to go visit areas like Cambridge or the Imperial War Museum. If I come back soon, I will absolutely be staying here again.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful. My room was quiet, clean and comfortable. I really like the convenience of being so close to the train station. So easy to get around if you don’t have a car. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is cheap, you get what you pay for. There are signs saying the hotel is starting a refurb, though, so those rooms may be nicer. Well, the room was pleasant and comfortable, lovely view of the train station which was very exciting for the children but maybe not so much if you were trying to sleep. It didn't bother us as we were exhausted. The staff were lovely but somewhat confusing. We spoke to one at the front desk who said 'ring your food order down and you can pay when you collect'. Then when we rang down they said you have to come down and pay for it so they wouldn't take the order over the phone. Then when I went down and ordered they said they could bring it to our room, so I went back up and waited... only to receive a call to come down and collect it! The food was surprisingly good though, so I suggest just sitting in the food bit and waiting instead of trying to get room service!

Didn’t have breakfast so unable to comment. Location was good for us due to our reason to visiting. Hotel is basic but the rooms were very clean. Outside is a bit of a mess but there was work going on. Would stay again as was good value for money

Hotellet ligger fint, vi blev lidt forvirret over navnet på hotellet men vi fandt. Parkering koster, men der er tog direkte til London og Cambridge Fin betjening og fin morgenmaden, hvis bare mange hoteller var som dette. Vi havde værelse med tog stationen men vi sov som en sten alligevel

Nice hotel next to station. Good pub across the way which does a great Sunday lunch! Clean rooms, corridors need a spruce up but otherwise would recommend. Didn’t purchase breakfast. Easy check in and helpful staff when asked for extra pillows. Nice to have shower gel provided & tea/ coffee facilities

The stay was excellent except for the breakfast, coffee machine broken, the staff were constantly topping up the food trays, the food in general was only just cooked I personally couldn’t eat the Hash browns (too undercooked for me) the entire service at breakfast was as if this was the staff’s first time ever of doing a breakfast sitting, very unprofessional, overall I was very disappointed.

Enjoyed a great 2 night stay to visit Duxford IWM. Perfect location. Rooms are a good size and very clean. Really nice bathroom and comfortable beds - we slept very well. Staff were excellent- very welcoming. We had food from the evening menu which though limited was hot and tasty. We would not hesitate to return.
