Good size comfy double bed. Room go do a little TLC. Staff excellent especially the chef

Perfect place. Cosy and comfortable room, great staff at check in and at the bar. Absolutely stunning food, well presented, delicious and plenty of it. Would love to return again if I’m down this way.

Room shabby with mould and damp. Very unhealthy environment for an asthmatic! Marketing photos are nothing like the reality. Had it not been late and we were unfamiliar with the area, we would have left immediately. Young staff trying their best to accommodate, clearly out of their depth. Shame on @hotels.com for actually advertising this disgraceful option as a place to stay.

Have previously stayed at Bourne Valley Inn and enjoyed it for a visit to Highclere Castle. However this trip which was again for a Highclere event was spoilt as the room was cold and damp. The bedding was similarly damp and water was running down the windows. The Management immediately agreed a full refund and tried to arrange alternative accomodation locally but it was so busy we could not even get into the car park. We went home very disappointed.

Friendly staff. Quiet room, good facilities, comfortable bed. Good food. Needed tidying and repainting in some areas. Too much litter lying around outside.
