One desk clerk was friendly the other was not. Pool was less than clear and was a total hassle to use. Tub was cracked open where your foot could slip inside. Light over mirror did not work, was fixed and quit again. Floor in room very spongy

The staff was courteous and friendly. The room was clean, but had a musty smell. The mini fridge worked well. Towels and cloths were very nubby. The shower floor had a long crack. No hair dryer. Parking lot full of pot holes. Overall, not worth the special event pricing.

They doubled the price because of the car show . The moment I laid down after arriving late bed bugs started biting me. I was given another room and luckily there were no bed bugs. This place is old and run down. It was definitely not worth the price $147 was ridiculous.

My family travels all the time we get motels for night stays this was the worst experience.I understand the motel was cost-effective but you can't give your customer a bed full of bugs 🐝 middle of the night my 2 year cried and ended up finding she got bug bites on her body. Not fair that anyone sleeps on a bug bed I would like to complain about the health department if I can.

This hotel smelled clean and felt clean. It looked clean as well! Everything was in working condition and we decided to spend the rest of our vacation here. We didn't need the perks from regular hotels like breakfast, shampoo, room service. We were not disturbed by housekeeping at all. We extended our stay twice. The clerks were very accommodating. The room was super affordable and much better than places we stayed at for a lot more money!! Thank you American Inn!!

Dirty, rundown, had a warped floor, holes in wall, clogged up ac vent, dirty tub & shower head etc. Spent much of my evening cleaning. The positive was the shower pressure was good & hot, is about it

Not great but is fine if you’re really just looking for somewhere to sleep. Seemed like a safe enough area. Super outdated and things definitely don’t get cleaned very often. Saw the cleaners stripping beds in other rooms prior to my check out and all they clean on the beds is the sheet. Beds were decently comfortable. Most lightbulbs were either blown or the whole light flickered.

Don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside, it needs some upgrading. The inside, while no frills, is exceptionally clean, and the beds are big and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Easy drive to beautiful downtown Carlisle. For a night or two, a great value. Will definitively stay there again the next time through.

You get what you pay for. Rooms are outdated and smell moldy. There was melted chocolate stuck on my table. The beds were actually comfortable. Staff was friendly. Right next to the interstate so you hear the truck traffic all night long

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and well kept. There was a lot of light outside, so it was hard to get the room dark enough for good sleep, but it was also a comfort for security. We recommend a room further from the highway. Lots of traffic noise through the night, but overall, we were happy with our stay.

Conveniently close to the highway but noisy with truck traffic. The bed and counters appeared clean but floors were dirty--don't walk around barefoot! On the plus side, it's close to the center of historic Carlisle, with lots of cute shops and dining options. We didn't use the pool but that appeared clean and well maintained.

The beds are way too firm for me!! By Sunday morning, I had the worse stiff neck that I still have on Thursday!! The room was adequate, I have stayed at this property prior, when it was Motel 6. Just a you approach the bathroom, there is a hole in the concrete slab under the wood floor. Every time this area was stepped on, the wood floor would lift up! The property is good, just needs some TLC!

No place to put your suit case except the floor. Sparsely decorated Only one small night stand. Only one chair Lack of furniture. No vanity in the large bath room. Small sink with very small side areas. But! you get what your pay for.

Overall my stay was fine. The rooms are a little dated but they were clean and comfortable with good cold AC. The staff was very accommodating. Special shout out to Beth as I had a bit of a situation and without hesitation she helped me to remedy it. Thank you Beth. Easy access as your able to pull up right in front of your room so you don't have to be touring luggage far.

This is a great value. Everything you need (except a coffee pot) and clean at half the price of the big chains. Just no fancy finishes which isn't needed for a place to sleep and shower.

It was a very no frills experience. No food or beverages available, but the room was very clean and it was easy to adjust the temperature. Anytime I wanted something (like a blanket) they were very happy to provide it.

There was a picture of coffee urns in the office on the website, but not available there and no coffee in the rooms. I was charged an extra $100.00 for switching a 2 day room with an already booked 3 day because of the bedding arrangement. Both had been booked previously. If I had known this, we would have stayed in the one room and switched the next night with the other people. There is a bank on the left as you leave to get on the highway, that blocks the view of oncoming cars and trucks. We almost hit a vehicle because of this. This is a very busy road. The owner did have a band the one night for the guests. That was very nice.
