Pool was closed, Said it was free parking and was charged when I got there. Kids in the room next to me were loud. I checked out at 12am cause the room was so loud

Please ... don't waste your time with this property. The lobby, fitness center and pool were in the middle of an unannounced renovation project. Fitness center, pool and restaurant were closed. Property charged me full rate in addition to Expedia charges. Ongoing dispute with hotel to recoup incorrect charge; hotel is completely apathetic about fixing its mistake after over 2 weeks.

It was not advertised that the pool is totally shut down and unable to be used. This was our main reason for picking this hotel and choosing to stay in a hotel so this was a huge disappointment. There was also an extremely loud, deep, consistent humming sound that we could hear in the room that made it difficult to sleep. The front desk attendant was cordial but did not seem like he knew what he was doing. He would not accept my husbands military ID as a form of ID which was quite the insult to his service. The breakfast was not up to par with other Hilton garden inns we have stayed at and many parts were soggy and/chewy. Overall the weekend was a bust and we could not justified spending $320 on another night there so we cancelled our second night and went home. Just a bummer. We were so disappointed. The room was nice and it was so great that they’ve dog friendly and the location was so good for what we were trying to do that weekend but the hotel and staff just wasn’t worth it at all!

It was unfortunate that the Hilton did not offer any breakfast, or the gym or other amenities because those areas were under renovation. They did not mention this or notify us that this was the case before we came. Not a good experience!

My husband and I arrived on Friday March 31st, 2023 and we were shocked to find the hotel was under construction. We had to access the front desk through a side door as the lobby door was closed. The counter top was completely covered in dust. We were handed the keyand told us where our room was. At that point we were told that all the amenities were closed including restaurant and the pool. The room curtains were ripped (the three layers), the closet was removed and no hanging rod available. We stayed on a noise floor. The following day when we returned at night time from being out the whole day, the front entrance was opened and when we reached the front desk, we were told to that the elevators wereclosed and to exit the hotel, walk a block across the parking lot and enter through an unmarked side door. The stairwell door was not marked either. On Sunday when we were leaving I stated to the front door lady that I was hoping we were not going to be charged for parking because of all the inconveniece. She replied that yes, we were going to be charge for parking. I asked to speak to her supervisor and the response was heis not here but here is the card of the manager, you are thsn welcome to contact him. She already had a stack of his business cards ready to hand out. She also said that they are receiving multiple complains. Shame on you Hilton Hotels. You should have something written in your website stating the condition and limited amenities at this hotel.

Was disappointed the pool was not open. My kids were really looking forward to that. Also would have been nice to have dining options.

Facilities were shut down, indoor pool closed, exercise facility closed, no breakfast service even though it was paid for, no outdoor pool open, over priced for what was offered, Expedia didnt advise of renovations on the reservation form, should have about a 50 percent credit on the bill.

The indoor pool hasn't been open in over a year. Everything was under construction, not even a cold complimentary breakfast. The worst part is the neither the hotels site nor expedia mentioned the place being under construction and refused to discount the room costs or allow us to check out early.

The Hotel has been with food service in the kitchen and bar area since 1/7/25. I booked through Expedia, Hilton never disclosed the kitchen was closed. I paid extra for three nights to have breakfast included, and they never refunded me as they said I would be. Hilton should let folks know the kitchen is closed before booking at their hotel.

The out side wasn’t maintained as well as it could be. Trash in the parking lot and lacking through lawn service. Inside the building needed better vacuuming in some areas and the windows needed attention. The staff were great and the rooms were clean.

Spotlessly clean; nice firm mattress and soft pillows. Microwave, coffeemaker and refrigerator all worked well.

It’s a clean and nice hotel. The area is beautiful and staffs are nice! But we can hear from next doors.

The inside of the hotel was pristine, and everyone was wonderful. It was the outside that I had an issue with. When we pulled up the hotel, actually looked abandoned. The grassy areas were overgrown. There were weeds growing up through the parking lot and the exterior garbage cans were overflowing.

Paid $220 per night which is pretty pricey via Expedia. If booked through hotel it was only $175 per night. Rooms were big but only one hook for bathroom towels! There were three of us. Shower water pressure was low. Toilet paper not very soft. Did like included soaps, shampoo and lotion. Housekeeper forgot to clean our room and it was done every other day. Had to ask for more coffee pods and cups from staff since not enough every day in the room. Housekeepers were very nice and responsive to requests. Front desk staff not very friendly. Lobby did put out coffee but not very much. Other hotel customers also complained about this. Big parking lot. Had a grille in lobby but only opened for breakfast. It’s not a new property and the AC system could use some help. It’s quite noisy and hard to control. It’s pretty noisy with doors slamming and dogs barking. Otherwise very clean and very helpful staff.

I really enjoyed the space in the room, the bed was so uncomfortable I had ever slept on and didn’t like the breakfast situation!

I’ve now stayed her 3 time in the past 4 years. The rooms are average. The staff are always friendly. My issues are: your price is premium for the level of quality. This latest stay I had a suite. A bedroom where there’s no clock, the tv is so low you can’t watch it in bed and overall it’s as bland as an Amish spare bedroom. The other room was bass bare and boring. Comfortable and so far quiet.

I booked a king room, was put in a queen (2) room. The woman at the front desk didn’t say anything until I walked in my room, we went back to the front desk & her response was “We are obviously overbooked, I can only put you in what we have.” There was a bike party in the parking lot & lobby (axe throwing & dj outside). Could barely hear each other trying to talk. When I say there was 50-100 bikers inside and outside the hotel I’m not over exaggerating. We wanted a nice quiet night with each other (parents of 4). High disappointment. Also the fridge in our room barely kept anything cold.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Hotel lobby is bright and cheerful. Room was clean. Pillows on the bed were so flat, had to ask for more and it still didn’t help. Water pressure in shower was almost nonexistent, which was a real bummer. There’s a brew pub across the parking lot that was great. Would def stay again, just hope they do something about the water pressure and pillows.

Room had a damp smell and needs updating.

It was terrible the people next door to us argued and fighting all night long Saturday night.!!!!!!!

My boyfriend has severe anxiety, Claustrophobiaand knee problems. We asked for a room on the bottom floor and the manger said they didn’t have any and it was only 1 flight, he’d be ok. After we checked in within an hour they were cleaning 8 rooms. We were lied to and and the lady was rude. Very disappointed.

my credit card has 3 pending charges. 1. full fare for the room (even though i paid expedia on already). 2 incidental charges for $54 x2 check in clerk had no idea what to do.

I felt like I was inconveniencing the lady at the front desk while I was checking in.

Staff was supportive and it was easy to get to nearby restaurants. Staff members gave excellent nearby food recommendations.

Considering I didn't get to stay at THIS property, I'll keep it on my list of properties NOT to look at when HI is booked. Imagine walking in after a LONG drive and be greeted with, "I'm sorry we overbooked. Please drive 12 miles out of your way to get to where you're staying tonight."

Often no one at the front desk. Then, staff appeared disinterested in guests. No breakfast and not even suggestions about where breakfast was available nearby. No information about getting room cleaned and took 2nd day when we had to ask the cleaning woman to straighten our room. Rude manner and constantly excuses for poor service.

During check inn. I feel like the warmth of being welcomed wasn’t very open. My wife and are very out going people and an inner mix husband and wife, and I felt the dynamic of the staff felt otherwise. I guess that’s not being warmed and fuzzy, however the cleaning lady on the second floor could offer a lot personality skills to the check in staff. She asked about our stay what brought us to the Hilton had we stayed before were are you from, just very personable to include the hospitality at breakfast so humble.

It is very clean and staffs are very helpful. Their front reception area is under construction. But I didn’t hear any noise. Convenient location. Next to a restaurant and walking distance to a grocery store and small shops.

Very helpful desk staff. Breakfast. You can walk to the Ann Marie Sculpture Gardens. The main area of Solomons shopping / dining is an easy 5 minute drive.

Beautiful and clean - shuttle to where all the restaurants and shops are is great.

The kitchen was being renovated so no breakfast was being offered. The free breakfast was one of the reasons i booked at the hotel. Otherwise everything was ok.

They got rid of the buffet breakfast. Only made to order now. The people next door to our room kept making load noises way past midnight. I was close to calling the front desk. I’ve stayed here before with no issues.

Hotel is nice enough. It's a suburban property with a huge mostly empty parking lot that they charge to to park in, crazy. Temperature control didn't work well in the run. Either froze or too hot. Order eggs, bacon and a waffle at 7:35 am Monday, mostly empty dining room. Eggs come out at 8, cool forgot to turn the waffle iron, dining room opened at 0630. At 8:10 old server to forget the waffle and refund the amount, she couldn't since the manager wouldn't be in until 11 am. Crazy. Hotel is run like a roadside motel versus a Hilton.

Nice hotel, very clean. Breakfast buffet was not great for the price. Not a lot of options, ordering from menu would’ve been better value but menu options aren’t clearly listed or provided when you are seated. Overall, nice place to stay and would recommend.

Said free breakfast, however it was $14 per person. Water in the room $3.00 a bottle. To pay for a Hilton and then get nickel and dime it wasn't worth it. It should not advertise breakfast included.
