Overall a descent place. Town is very small but we knew that going in. Just needed a place to rest. Pool was under renovation which was disappointing for the kids and part of the reason we had booked this hotel. Planning by to let the kids swim after a long day of travel.

Room was clean, spacious, and cute. It had all the amenities we needed and was comfortable. Only complaint is that the fitness room didn’t have a/c and the floor was a little dirty. But that was minor as we were only there one night.

I stayed in the main building, beautiful lobby, room was comfortable and clean. Location was great right within town but a bit away from the busiest area which is nice. Also convenient to grocery store and other stores right across the street. Staff was nice. No breakfast but they did have a coffee bar - coffee was not great but I thought it was nice to have it available. Room was very nice, decorated nicely, good toiletries and clean. I will say that my room was a flight up, there’s no elevator and carrying bags up could be an issue for some. All in all very satisfied with this stay.

The parking lot is not well lit. Had a very difficult time dinding my room because of this. They also charged me 12 hours before i checked in. It does not state that they charge your card at anytime before check in. I also called the hotel to let them know i was using a different card than the one I made a reservation. I was going to use a corporate card to pay for my room but i had to get it from my boss that afternoon. The shower also didnt work. I had to take a bath and wash my hair under the faucet instead of in a shower.

Staff was pleasant, room was clean, beds were comfortable. Room was larger than the typical motel room, which was nice. Typically we book at a chain motel, but this was booked last minute and we were pleasantly surprised.

There were loose pills in the room. We let the hotel staff know and they were not concerned. However, we have an 9 month old who is pulling up to stand, and an 4 year old. Thankfully we found the medication before they did. Old smoke smell. The room also had earwigs.

I was disappointed. The beds were very uncomfortable….way too soft. There were coffee spills on the counter top and around the bathroom sink. Two of our clean towels had long black hairs in them (neither of us have black hair). No paper or pens to take a note. Very low water pressure in the shower. The lobby was nice with good coffee choices, and the rooms were cute. I won’t be back.

Problems with our reservation. The room we got was probably Ok 20 years ago, but old and extremely smelly, like some type of insecticide. Overall, an unpleasant stay for one night.

Apparently, the front office doesn't communicate with the cleaning staff after going and saying are room was ready. We walked in there. It wasn't even touched by the cleaning people. And they said about 15 minutes went down to the front desk and asked her again when it's going to be ready. And she said, 15 minutes, 45 minutes later, with no communications. Our room was SPOTLESS! They kept it so clean! And the lobby was always clean and tidy even though it was snowy/muddy outside! We were always greeted with a friendly smile and a hello! Highly recommended-great room-super clean with easy access and close to downtown shopping but still nice and quiet

There was no Wifi connection at all in our room, which was in the "Deluxe" Queen room in the corner, and the description promises in-room wifi, which we needed. We told the by front desk about the problem and they were not able to fix it, claiming they had to "call the service provider when they open in the morning," (which was useless, since we were leaving in the morning). I then noticed another earlier customer review on Expedia lamenting the exact same problem - apparently the hotel is aware of this problem, however they don't bother to fix it.

The front desk person was very helpful and kind even though we arrived late He explained how to turn on the shower nicely. Clean. We loved the way each queen bed was divided by a partial wall and there were two tvs.

e were just unlucky to get a room that the TV did have clear reception but we also didn’t have a working shower and the tub didn’t drain well. We were unable to talk to anyone about our situation because they didn’t have staff at the desk overnight. We checked in around 8:00 pm and out by 6:15am. Definitely not worthy of $159.79 per room

The property is very small and no frills. The location was good and the rooms were very clean. Thr beds are comfortable and decor is updated and cozy. Our keys were deactivated mid-stay. I am not overly sensitive to noises, but we could hear every footstep above us, voices in the lobby, the pipes making noises, and people taking showers.

There was no one at the front desk to check me in. I called the property, no answer, honestly I was a bit bewildered! Finally after like 10 minutes, a lady walked in to check me in. No breakfast, my fault I hadn’t checked that box. Needless to say won’t be staying there again. I’ve never gone to a hotel & not have a person behind the desk!

Very nice hotel for the $. We had trouble with our door locking and after the room was cleaned housekeeping left our room unsecured all day. Brought to front desk attention and they really didn’t seem to care.

Pricing is fair but the front desk staff were not hospitable to us. The woman who checked us in was obviously annoyed when we showed up, and did not even make much eye contact with us during the process. I understand that being busy can be stressful, but that is not something you make your guests problem. The other woman barely looked up from her phone as we asked questions the following morning. Don’t work in hospitality if you can’t put on a nice face and attitude towards paying guests.

The receptionist seemed bored and not at all welcoming. We got the keys to the room, my wife used the wc and found it didn’t flush so I went back to reception to tell the receptionist. Her response was to tell me where the plunger was kept and to replace it when I had finished unblocking the toilet! After a 5 hour drive and a surly greeting the last thing we needed was to be unblocking a lavatory we hadn’t blocked in the first place! Hardly great customer service.

This is a nice, relaxing property. It is very clean, well kept and reasonably priced. The front desk agent/manager(?) Rhonda was very efficient and super-cordial with accommodating some specific room requests which somehow didn't transfer over from Expedia. She was also very helpful with dinner referrals and overall she made our stay very pleasant. We will definitely book again when we are in Cody, WY.

I have stayed in hotels in 15 US states, all of Europe, middle east and south east Asia and I have to say the unwelcoming and inhospitable reception received at this hotel is the worse I have ever experienced! I strongly suggest the receptionist receives training on how to interact with customers correctly. Personally if they worked for me they would have been fired Seriously not impressed with this persons attitude and has put me off using Legacy hotels in the future and will not be recommending to work colleagues or friends!

The room was spacious and clean and provided everything we needed. The plug sockets were, however, very dangerous because the plugs were very loose. There was nobody at the reception when we arrived after 3pm. We rang 0 on the reception phone and nobody arrived. We rang again and we heard it ringing outside in the hand of a lady chatting to other people. She walked in and answered another call, ignoring us. Before dealing with us she took another call ignoring us again. She then dealt with us with no apology. Not a good start.

Our room was next to men’s room and the toilet overflowed into our room. We had a king room and was given a queen room. Beds were very uncomfortable. It’s a 1.25 mile walk to downtown. The trip to is not bad, the trip back is up hill. There are better choices in Cody.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They have an excellent coffee bar and the rooms are clean and well kept. The only upgrade which I would ask is for them to add a power strip on the desk/table. It is very awkward to try and charge equipment or phones. I gave 5 stars as I was able to make a work around.

They are not stingy with towels. Very neat and clean. No breakfast is bad part, but good coffee and tea selection, plus McDonald's and Taco Johns are across the street and serve breakfast.
