What a lovely find! Our room was amazing ( room 10), more like a suite. It had its own sitting area as well as the bedroom and large bathroom. It was well maintained and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and there was a great selection for breakfast. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay again. Thank you Down Inn for a lovely stay.

The pub was very well placed for visiting various places of interest to us. The bar and restaurant food were excellent with plenty of parking available. Our only criticism was typical of staying above the pub which was the sound of noisy extractor fans operating in the kitchen.

I love this place so much! Always stay here for work and can’t fault it at all. Staff are wonderful and the food is delicious. Rooms are huge and showers are great. Can’t say anything negative about it.

Warm welcome. Super size room. Excellent breakfast and great choice of evening meals. Recommend the daily carvery. Plenty available parking.

Easy parking in two car parks, larger one at the rear with direct access to the bedrooms. (steps). My room was larger than average at this price point. Clean with a plentiful supply of plug sockets. Comfortable bed. Powerful shower over the bath although the toilet flush does require a certain knack to get it going. Good food, breakfast and evening meals. The staff were wonderful and helpful with always a smile. 😁
