Our stay was amazing from start to finish. From the minute you enter the beautiful lobby with open views of the beach and landscape, you are immediately transported to a place of calm and relaxation. Breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious with many Indian and continental options. Sanjiv took great of us at the pool and the staff was extremely attentive to all our needs. I especially enjoyed the carnival experience the Taj put on for us. So much fun! A special touch were the daily gifts I found in our room from the staff. This hotel is a must visit!

Great stay at the Taj Fort Aguada Goa. Thank you to all the pool guys who kept us well looked after with cold water and shade particularly Sanjeev. Thank you to Vincent in Kokum restaurant the food was great as was the service at breakfast and dinner The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well kept and the views are amazing. It’s also nice and quiet all the time no horns or loud blaring music. However the room we had tired and not up to 5 star standard at best this was 3.5 star room, the shower screen was mouldy and the chairs were also mouldy/damp. In our view this isn’t a 5 star hotel as such is over priced for sure but we had a nice time and enjoyed our stay overall. But would we go back not likely.

The property is located next to a fort (on a cliff) overlooking the sea. It has beautiful view of the sinquerim beach and the Arabian sea. The property is open and hence it has beautiful breeze in the evening. The SFX lounge is an a great place to hang out in the evening during sunset. One can also go up the hill to get a beautiful view of the bay and the sun set. The konkan restaurant also offers great buffet option with lot of options and high on taste.

I stayed at this property because of its 5 star rating and chose the room based on a “10” review on Expedia. The room was old, tired and looked like it hadn’t been maintained. The ocean view was obstructed by dirty windows with dirty curtains. The room did not look anything like the pictures. The lower common areas were not maintained. This property needs a lot of work to be a 5 star hotel. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The breakfast buffet was overcrowded and noisy. This was NOT a 5 star hotel experience and we felt ripped off

Excited to be in Goa, we thought we would take a day away from friends and go spend it in a Suite at Taj Fort Aguada, having spent part of our honeymoon here. If nothing else, it made us realize that we should never go back, perhaps we were chasing a dream. Arrival was uneventful, and we were shown to our room. Room was tired looking, floor tiles were cracked and broken in several places. My wife thought she would have a soak, surprise no bath tub! Happens I guess. Showered, went out for a drink to the Hotel Bar, the whole decor was so uninspiring, had not been changed for perhaps 4 decades. Went out for dinner, came back to find that Inspite of having left the sign to make the room, it had not been made up. A phone call and in 5-10 minutes had 2-3 guys cleaning and making the bed up and changing the towels etc. Disappointing, not expecting this to happen at The Taj. Then you start looking at the small things, and several disappointing things: Slippers and shoes out in the corridor ! Clothes hanging out to dry ! Room service tray taken away, without bothering to clean the food which had dropped ! Bottle of wine in the Suite, with only one glass ! Second glass brought , which was different to the one in the room ! Wardrobe door which never shuts ! One or two would have been unacceptable at the Taj, all together it makes you wonder what has gone wrong at this Grande Dame ?

This was our first time to Goa and wanted to ensure we stayed at a proper and clean property as we had 2 young children. Taj Aguada did not disappoint. They exceeded expectations. There is not a single complaint I can write. The staff was very friendly, from Abhishek in the kitchen to Sanjeev at the pool. They went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The kitchen even specially made mild food for our kids at no extra charge. The hotels free shuttle service was convenient to get us to Tajs sister resort and also the sunset point. Food was great, room was clean and service was impeccable. The service was so above and beyond that I had got loose motion and we called the front desk, within 30 mins they had gone to the pharmacy and got me medication again at no charge. I will be visiting Goa again and will not be needing to look anywhere else but Taj!

Rooms were not clean, we changed room 2 times but still when you walk into the room the leg becomes full of dust!. Lots of insects comes in to the room becouse of the greenery around The rooms are spacious & the property is great but you can see its too old and not maintained properly Food were average in the restaurants both (Indian & Italian) Overall services was very average

Mustiness in the room is unacceptable at a Taj property especially when it's not even the high humidity season. This instantly impacted my wife who had to go on medication Masking it with chemical fresheners is worse. Reaction times and understanding at the front desk of client requirement is dismal. Took me two hours to arrange a car pick up to the hotel They recognised the issue sent me a goodwill gift of such poor quality that even the from office clerk was embarrassed to see. Too much demand means that resources cannot keep up and quality suffers but list importantly they just move to the vlnext guest without any time capacity or desire to repair any issues that they themselves acknowledge Not that they didn't try but loose assurances don't go too far.

Terrible experience at Fort Aguada, the hotel is dated, dirty rooms which we took pictures of but we're ignored. Had to wait for an hour to check in, then we're given a room that we did not book which was dirty with used cigarettes on the balcony, and not cleaned. then we were moved to another room we did not book. eventually 2 days (half way into our stay) they moved us to the room we booked, then the room wifi was not working. Not worth the cost, not even close to a 5* experience.

Amazing property and location and the access to the adjoining Taj resort was a big bonus. Rooms are dated and small and we managed to change to a cottage which was spacious and beautiful. Many Thanks to the manager Mr Shubham for helping us make the change with minimal fuss, and for always checking on us. Food was delicious but variety was limited and after 4-5 days it could be an issue. More variety and cuisines required. Lastly, maybe more recreational options required especially at night. Overall a great stay with fantastic staff. Also special thanks to the superstars cleaning our cottage - Arjun, Pancham and Sadashiv- for being so helpful and pleasant.

Friends of few adults (having a night party in nearby room) came banging on his door more than once. They had to be told that party was in the nearby room. Also, despite telling guest mgmt team personally about the special occassion for which stay was booked, there was no initiative taken from them.

We were a family of 4 with 2 boys aged 9 and 11. The restaurant staff went out of their way to cater to the foods the boys liked(both have very different tastes). We lost some swimming trunks at the pool. The pool manager found them and they were returned to us the next day. The room had a wonderful view to the ocean and a balcony where we could relax while watching the waves. Ultimately it was the staff that made this place so lovely.

Everything was excellent about this property. But the thing stands out is the care and service by the employees. In particular Vincent and Sunil at the Kokum restaurant and Sanjiv at the poolside made it memorable for us and our kids. Best wishes and a wonderful 2024 to the wonderful people at Taj Fort Aguada

I had an exceptional experience at the Taj resort. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, happy and received anything we desired. They even went out of their way to mail back an item I left in the room after I checked out. Wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else if I travel to Goa again.

Property was well laid out and actively. A short walk from the room were the dinner venues, swimming pool, and a little further down some sets of stairs, the beach. It was very peaceful and the staff are very helpful. Guest services were happy to ensure our stay was brilliant including little personalised gift for the kids. Anish Naik was fantastic in their restaurant. He was very attentive and helped ensure that everyone had something they would enjoy for dinner. Including those on a strict diet. Helpful and very patient meant that we came back a few times for dinner here. They had a great selection of veg and non veg. Overall a brilliant stay and would recommend without a doubt for couples, young families or extended family trips.

I had 4 rooms booked for 2 days in sea view cottages. I had family emergency with hip fracture needing emergency surgery. They would not understand it and adjust or give credit or reimburse. Such poor humanity. I am visiting from California. Never seen such human insensitivity in USA.

Apart from other things , its location - by the sea , on the ramparts of the fort Aguada. Our room has a great view of the sea and the pier . The approach from the main road is a two lane road - fair amount of traffic. And it is there for last 8/10 kms. So if you are driving, could be little frustrating after a drive of about 400 kms .

Great resort with excellent customer service. Food is good and caters to the clientele. There is no Goan food for those of us who cam Outside the resort is terrible with lack of approach road and order. Too many people walking on the road in absolute unsafe conditions. Lack of taxi cabs make travel very very expensive.
