The stay exceeded our expectations. From the incredibly helpful and friendly check-in staff to every golf cart driver and food server, all were focused on making our stay exceptional. While we were asked to hear their property sales presentation, we did not feel overly pressured when we politely declined. The suite offered appliances we used for our own breakfast before heading to the pool by the cliff overlooking the ocean. We were ok not having a beach because the cliff-side beds or infinity pool(s) provided expansive and beautiful views. We saw whales in the distance making our stay magical! We met many friendly guests who have been returning to this place for years. We did not get the all-inclusive package as we were attending wedding events at another property and will consider on our next stay. We shall return!

couldn’t check into our room in 4:00pm. timeshare sales people are very aggressive. Stingy with bottled water, restock took more effort than it should have. furniture was nice, but bedding was not, old and used up, needs to be replaced with new and fresh. dress code at Mestizo is gender bias, open toes not allowed on men. most of staff is awesome! Bilingual conversations on the house phones seemed to be an issue though. Can’t really explain that one. Food was fine, average. Some select plates were exceptional! Birds were a problem if you left your patio table unattended, mainly at breakfast buffet if you made trips back and forth without cleaning your plate, lol. The property is absolutely gorgeous! Concrete cart paths and sidewalks, beautiful gardens and flower beds! fine art was even displayed throughout during our stay, as there was an art walk in progress, very nice!! the site is built on a hill, so it is sometimes a hike if you like to walk everywhere. Cart drivers were usually close to give you a ride if you aren’t feeling the hike. I saw two wedding venue spots that were also quite stunning, a high cliff flat, and the chapel on the hill, incredible vistas! All and all not a bad spot, would probably return.

The property has a lot of activities for adults and kids. The kid pool is amazing, I will add adult chairs and lounges in the kids area because moms would love you have their kids runing while they rest. Property is super well staffed, the food is ok and the location is amazing.

This is one of the most beautiful facilities with amazing views of the ocean. Definitely recommend getting the dining plan as there are not a lot of dining options nearby. The staff were friendly. There is no immediate beach access, but you can sit on the shore by the rocks. The pools are amazing as well. You need to take golf carts to get around, but they run often. Good choice overall.

Beautiful property, but it shares the property with timeshare owners and you are treated very much second rate if you aren’t an owner. Best pool and gym are limited to owners. Pressure sales to get you to timeshare presentations and to get you to sign up for all inclusive. Exorbitant prices for food, drink and transportation to push you towards all inclusive, which isn’t worth it if you can’t get reservations or you want to explore off property. $95 for three smoothies and three medium coffees, as an example.

Grande resort sull’oceano con tantissimi servizi per ogni tua esigenza, ottimi ristoranti, tantissimo personale attento e disponibile. Ottimo il servizio di navette per muoversi all’interno del resort. Tantissime piscine con vista sull’oceano. Camere ampie, pulite, con balcone vista faraglioni. Un soggiorno molto rilassante.
Grande resort sull’oceano con tantissimi servizi per ogni tua esigenza, ottimi ristoranti, tantissimo personale attento e disponibile. Went w my family & friends for my birthday. Booked the villa w private pool and jacuzzi all inclusive and WOW! Property and our room was gorgeous. Breakfast spot @ Maria’s is delicious with great service anywhere you go. Book the dinner reservations AHEAD of time or email them especially those in the city or else they’ll try to tell you there are no more reservations. PS they will try to sell you on time shares checking in and keep checking back in w you about it

We had a room in the Encanta building. Ground floor which we love. Room was comfortable but bathroom could use a little love :) The resort itself is wonderful! Fantastic restaurants and service, beautiful views and great pools. Perfect spot to watch sunrise and sunsets! Nice and well-equipped gym as well as a laundromat. A few tennis/pickleball courts, beach volleyball and putting greens. A shuttle goes to Cabo every couple of hours but you will need a car to go to San Jose. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful property but no access to the beach. Not much in the surrounding area. Fantastic pool areas and food quality was very good. Polite staff but I didn’t care for the add-on pressure when we checked in. Trying to sell us on added activities, etc.

Fue muy complicada la estancias ya que la limpieza de los baños era terrible, no tenían suficientes amenidades como toallas incluimos servicio básico como shampoo y jabón no estaban disponibles cuando se necesitaban. el servicio de cafetera en la habitación no se nos entrego.

Staff very friendly and helpful! Clean rooms well appointed. There is no beach to walk but you can watch the whales go by. We did the all inclusive and worth it as prices are high at the restaurants.

To say that this hotel/resort is terrible, would be an extreme understatement. Everything from check in, to the room cleanliness/quality, to the restaurant service to the check out process was absolutely horrible. The staff is rude and dismissive. I had to wait over an hour for them to find my reservation and even then I had ti check with them again for them to notice in was in the system even though I was sitting in plain view in the lobby and the front desk staff all knew about the issue. I called and requested plates, cups and silverware from room service and housekeeping, multiple times. These items never arrived and I have checked out. Upon check out no one offered a golf cart ride to the front gates after they refused to let the cab driver in to the property for pick up at the lobby. So then I was forced to walk a quarter mile with my luggage to get to the car. I would not stay here again if the room was free. The room quality was terrible with cracks so big in the door and underneath that I might as well have left it open, for all of the mosquitoes that swarmed in through the gaps! And the mildew in the shower corners was insane! The reviews are absolutely misleading! This place is AWFUL! The only people who are attentive are the time share sellers who literally harass you from the moment of check in! Do NOT stay here!!

The brainless front desk have us a room right in front of the only area in the resort that plays loud music late into the night. We were traveling with a 3 year old! Luckily we were there for only one night but the terms and conditions the front desk was running through seemed absurd. It pretty much means you can eat at one of two places on site and all sorts of other nonsense. The restaurant staff were nice and housekeeping was kind but is never stay at this place again. Oh, did I mention they damaged our rental car? I didn't notice this till after we left but i wasn't going to go back to this place. Lastly, the pushy timeshare guy asking for my name and room number just felt so scammy and low budget. I guess scammy and low budget are good ways to describe this place.

It pretty much means you can eat at one of two places on site and all sorts of other nonsense. The restaurant staff were nice and housekeeping was kind but is never stay at this place again. Oh, did I mention they damaged our rental car? I didn't notice this till after we left but i wasn't going to go back to this place. Lastly, the pushy timeshare guy asking for my name and room number just felt so scammy and low budget. I guess scammy and low budget are good ways to describe this place.

couldn’t check into our room in 4:00pm. timeshare sales people are very aggressive. Stingy with bottled water, restock took more effort than it should have. furniture was nice, but bedding was not, old and used up, needs to be replaced with new and fresh. dress code at Mestizo is gender bias, open toes not allowed on men. most of staff is awesome! Bilingual conversations on the house phones seemed to be an issue though. Can’t really explain that one. Food was fine, average. Some select plates were exceptional! Birds were a problem if you left your patio table unattended, mainly at breakfast buffet if you made trips back and forth without cleaning your plate, lol. The property is absolutely gorgeous! Concrete cart paths and sidewalks, beautiful gardens and flower beds! fine art was even displayed throughout during our stay, as there was an art walk in progress, very nice!! the site is built on a hill, so it is sometimes a hike if you like to walk everywhere. Cart drivers were usually close to give you a ride if you aren’t feeling the hike. I saw two wedding venue spots that were also quite stunning, a high cliff flat, and the chapel on the hill, incredible vistas! All and all not a bad spot, would probably return.

We had a wonderful stay at Hacienda Encantada. The property is really beautiful, and we were in a building that was centrally located to everything and had ocean views. Our room was a one bedroom suite which was really spacious with a kitchen, large patio with a grill and two bathrooms. It felt upscale and allowed us to feel comfortable. The food at the resort is also great with many options including a nice breakfast buffet, casual options and fine dining for dinner. We also had access to the rooftop pool and services at the Vista Encantada resort. We also took advantage of the free shuttle to and from the marina. During the July 4th holiday, the hotel held a nice celebration with a bbq, live music and fireworks. The hotel staff, especially Manny, also helped us after we traveled back home and realized our daughter left two precious keepsakes behind. He located the items and helped arrange shipping.

I reserved an Ocean View Room through Expedia. The room they wanted to give me was not an ocean view. When I showed the check-in associate the Expedia listing I booked it from, the associate threw the paper back at me and said, "That's not us, that's their ad". Upon me insisting that they should honor their ad, he told me that owners get the good ocean views. With further pressing by me, we ended up with a Partial Ocean View. The original rooms are starting to show their age. The toilet "ran water" the entire week even after us asking for service. The drain in the shower was slow. The water in the shower fluctuated between hot and cold. Tough to take a shower. The shuttle use to be free to their sister property in the Marina. Now it's $32 round trip for two people unless you are an owner. A cab ride into town is now $30. Unless you are an owner it's an expensive place to stay. The breakfast buffet in one restaurant on property is $50 a person. If the food was great it would be one thing but it's not. I have stayed there five times. We will be looking at other choices for our next trip.

This was our first time doing all inclusive for our honeymoon. We arrived and were checked in by Jasmine who was polite and professional, the only thing we lacked was an explanation of how the all inclusive worked in terms of signing out in restaurants etc. We checked into our room and were underwhelmed unfortunately. We booked a junior suite with ocean view, and we were placed on a ground floor junior suite, which you could see the ocean but it faced the pool so people could walk a foot away from us. Not ideal, then the toilet in our room was leaking, the smell was so bad so we requested to change rooms. The only room available was another ground floor in a different building with no ocean view. Again not ideal as we paid for ocean view so this was disappointing but at least the plumbing worked. Overall the property was nice, the view from the pool is beautiful and the majority of staff were excellent. I was just a little upset about the room situation since it was our honeymoon and we wanted it to feel special. It was just average. The food for the all inclusive was not great, very bland and the mixed drinks were not good. I don't want to be very negative about this property since the staff were so nice but the rooms definitely need an upgrade and the food and drinks were just not great quality (maybe this is normal for all inclusive). I probably would not stay here again and spend the extra money on an all inclusive where you can enjoy better quality food and drinks.

One of our room had a ceiling leak in the middle of the night. The room we were moved to was a glorified broom closet. We moved into a better room the next day after no sleep. After 3 rooms in 2 nights they wouldn’t discount anything for us. They recommend Expedia reimburse us for our stay rather than help out. Property was great, food was excellent. Paperwork process was the most inconvenient process I’ve ever had at a all inclusive.

Customer service was terrible. We were not given the room that was promised. They were not helpful and friendly at the checking point. Service in the restaurants was slow and specially when you called down to get something send to your room it took multiple calls. We waited 4 1/2 hrs. to be able to get in our room at one point because the door indicador was red and the key would not work. The golf cart guys and the housekeepers were the nicest. The elevator stopped working and by the time we left had to carry the bags down 3 floors. Had a hard time making a dinner reservation. By the time we got one they would tell us they would try to squeeze us in but when we got to the restaurant there was no one there. “Squeeze us in” that was BS. The hotel was nice but unfortunately the staff was not.

If you like pressure Timeshare sales go!! We will never stay here again we had NO hot water the entire time we stayed terrible and the concierge kept telling us that they would fix it again and again but apparently talking with others that have timeshares there it’s a on going thing and we had a problem with our toilet flapper randomly squealing in the middle of the night they said they would come fix it while we were at the pool for the day well again in the middle of the night loud squealing we would have to lift the back of toilet lid and pull on flapper to stop this went on for 3 nights asked to change rooms we had ocean view but nothing available to change anywhere 😡 so finally we said we are staying in the room until maintenance comes with a new flapper to install and fix hot water we waited over 2 hours and finally he arrives and we said did you bring a new flapper? No is that what it is OMG!! Couldn’t do anything about hot water it was several buildings they said we felt blessed because other hotel guests had backups of random sewage. Just stay somewhere else enjoy your trip to Cabo we go about 4 times a year and love it !! Stay at Le Blanc excellent we also love the Marina area hotels and Hyatt Ziva.. You work to hard to waste your money the only thing nice about it was the ocean pool and food at pool area only !!

Property was not helpful with our questions upon our arrival. We were assigned the wrong room size for our # of guests and did not accommodate our original pre-paid reservation. We were assigned 1 king size bed for 3 grown adults. They never attempted to fix it. We did call and insisted on a roll away bed. That helped a little. We remained in that room the entire stay. No one tried to get us the correct accommodations. Our “all inclusive package” turned out to need to be upgraded to an all inclusive for $2,500 upon our arrival. No explanation, just more fees. Then an offer to upgrade our room came with a price. The original room was never offered either. It was only that we could upgrade to a suite or they would eventually get us the right room, “by tomorrow.” That never happened. The property just didn’t have the level of service expected and the luxury of the experience became tarnished after we didn’t get any pampering.

Staff very friendly and helpful! Clean rooms well appointed. There is no beach to walk but you can watch the whales go by. We did the all inclusive and worth it as prices are high at the restaurants.

Beautiful property, but it shares the property with timeshare owners and you are treated very much second rate if you aren’t an owner. Best pool and gym are limited to owners. Pressure sales to get you to timeshare presentations and to get you to sign up for all inclusive. Exorbitant prices for food, drink and transportation to push you towards all inclusive, which isn’t worth it if you can’t get reservations or you want to explore off property. $95 for three smoothies and three medium coffees, as an example.

Always a good experience, love the staff. Manny at the bell area has been there 12 years and always a pleasure. David the front desk manager made sure we had the correct room and experience.

The hotel has a set-up that getting guests money (cheating) in an appropriate way that ordinary guest does not know that he was cheated.

The stay exceeded our expectations. From the incredibly helpful and friendly check-in staff to every golf cart driver and food server, all were focused on making our stay exceptional. While we were asked to hear their property sales presentation, we did not feel overly pressured when we politely declined. The suite offered appliances we used for our own breakfast before heading to the pool by the cliff overlooking the ocean. We were ok not having a beach because the cliff-side beds or infinity pool(s) provided expansive and beautiful views. We saw whales in the distance making our stay magical! We met many friendly guests who have been returning to this place for years. We did not get the all-inclusive package as we were attending wedding events at another property and will consider on our next stay. We shall return!

This is one of the most beautiful facilities with amazing views of the ocean. Definitely recommend getting the dining plan as there are not a lot of dining options nearby. The staff were friendly. There is no immediate beach access, but you can sit on the shore by the rocks. The pools are amazing as well. You need to take golf carts to get around, but they run often. Good choice overall.

Enjoyed the resort, however, not offering shuttle service back to the airport daily and therefore having to pay an arm and leg for a taxi was a waste. I was also offered $50 credit, but when I asked to apply it to balance at the end of my stay, I was told I couldn’t because it was just for food. Info on these services needs to be clearer from up front.

Felt very safe there. If we took the shuttle outside the property they would keep count of how many of us wre leaving. Upon return they would double check who was coming in.
Felt very safe there. If we took the shuttle outside the property they would keep count of how many of us wre leaving. Upon return they would double check who was coming in.

The property was nice and the staff were very friendly. There was some confusion about our $50 credit, but it all worked out. We opted out of the all inclusive package but if we go again we will get it. The location is remote but we had great taxi drivers.

Beautiful property but no access to the beach. Not much in the surrounding area. Fantastic pool areas and food quality was very good. Polite staff but I didn’t care for the add-on pressure when we checked in. Trying to sell us on added activities, etc.

Beautiful resort. Expect to be upselled on the property to join the VIP membership and the activities packages. Food on the resort was good but pricey. They do not allow Ubers or Lyfts on the property. Expect to pay for taxis and shuttle services

Food was the best I have had ant ann anll inclusive , every place we ate at, off and on the property. They do have partnerships with restaurants off the property that honor the all inclusive you purchase with them. Beautiful place and the rooms are top notch. It was great to have more food options at the pool other than hot dogs and hamburgers!

A superb welcome and check in experience. The staff all throughout the grounds are friendly and attentive. The dining options are fantastic - so much to choose from and the food is a 5-star experience. Delicious dishes!

couldn’t check into our room in 4:00pm. timeshare sales people are very aggressive. Stingy with bottled water, restock took more effort than it should have. furniture was nice, but bedding was not, old and used up, needs to be replaced with new and fresh. dress code at Mestizo is gender bias, open toes not allowed on men. most of staff is awesome! Bilingual conversations on the house phones seemed to be an issue though. Can’t really explain that one. Food was fine, average. Some select plates were exceptional! Birds were a problem if you left your patio table unattended, mainly at breakfast buffet if you made trips back and forth without cleaning your plate, lol. The property is absolutely gorgeous! Concrete cart paths and sidewalks, beautiful gardens and flower beds! fine art was even displayed throughout during our stay, as there was an art walk in progress, very nice!! the site is built on a hill, so it is sometimes a hike if you like to walk everywhere. Cart drivers were usually close to give you a ride if you aren’t feeling the hike. I saw two wedding venue spots that were also quite stunning, a high cliff flat, and the chapel on the hill, incredible vistas! All and all not a bad spot, would probably return.

Staff very friendly and helpful! Clean rooms well appointed. There is no beach to walk but you can watch the whales go by. We did the all inclusive and worth it as prices are high at the restaurants.

All the staff was attentive, helpful and so kind. Our room was very quiet, clean and close to the ocean with an amazing view! The restaurants served food that was well prepared. The only drawback,(for us), was there was no “live” music to dance. Lack of night life activity made it boring after a late dinner.

This was our first time doing all inclusive for our honeymoon. We arrived and were checked in by Jasmine who was polite and professional, the only thing we lacked was an explanation of how the all inclusive worked in terms of signing out in restaurants etc. We checked into our room and were underwhelmed unfortunately. We booked a junior suite with ocean view, and we were placed on a ground floor junior suite, which you could see the ocean but it faced the pool so people could walk a foot away from us. Not ideal, then the toilet in our room was leaking, the smell was so bad so we requested to change rooms. The only room available was another ground floor in a different building with no ocean view. Again not ideal as we paid for ocean view so this was disappointing but at least the plumbing worked. Overall the property was nice, the view from the pool is beautiful and the majority of staff were excellent. I was just a little upset about the room situation since it was our honeymoon and we wanted it to feel special. It was just average. The food for the all inclusive was not great, very bland and the mixed drinks were not good. I don't want to be very negative about this property since the staff were so nice but the rooms definitely need an upgrade and the food and drinks were just not great quality (maybe this is normal for all inclusive). I probably would not stay here again and spend the extra money on an all inclusive where you can enjoy better quality food and drinks.

Grande resort sull’oceano con tantissimi servizi per ogni tua esigenza, ottimi ristoranti, tantissimo personale attento e disponibile. Ottimo il servizio di navette per muoversi all’interno del resort. Tantissime piscine con vista sull’oceano. Camere ampie, pulite, con balcone vista faraglioni. Un soggiorno molto rilassante.

This is a 5 Star resort! It was wonderful, the staff were great and the food was top notch for an all inclusive. Definitely get the all inclusive because pricing in general was high. The only downside was that they are building a hotel right across from the resort and it is a bit noisy and the beautiful views will be blocked soon.

I stayed at Hacienda Encantanda from May 17th through June 2nd 2026. Rosa in housekeeping was amazing, I appreciated Alex at the Il Forno bar. Ma t of the staff such as Carlos at the Tienda gave me great joy as did the bell staff who would kindly provide cambio when the front desk did not have change. More from a curiosity side I didn’t understand when a servicio charge (which was explained to me as a group propina) would appear on a bill (98%of the time I ate solo). I also was confused that some days I was called from my room to extend my stay in person and other days there was no need. Also, the keys no longer worked after N extension even when I was asked to come up and bring my credit card probably to increase for incidentals or the government tax? I was Also perplexed by the different charges for the taxis driving me to Cabo when O missed the shuttle or wanted more freedom. The cost seemed to change when the driver saw that I had more cash and the cost went up. On June the 2nd I became so unnerved that I left and stayed at another resort. I did call management thinking that they had an agreement with the taxi union and I was corrected by the manager on duty. How much I pay the cabs that are contractually tied to the resort was between me and the taxi and the resort does not interfere with fluctuating rates as the taxis have no agreement with the resort.
